God's struggle for the world's people....

My love and mercy also turn to those people who still think in a completely material way, who walk their earthly path without any spiritual bond.... who only evaluate what is visible and tangible to them and unhesitatingly reject everything that cannot be proven. These people need not be exactly bad, they can lead a righteous way of life but they reject all spiritual influx, which means as much as that they always remain on the same level, that they walk a level path and at the end of their earthly life cannot record any spiritual progress and the whole earthly course was, as it were, in vain for the soul.... for what remains after the death of the body. Hence the soul need not have developed retrogressively and yet it has no success to chalk up.... It enters the kingdom of the beyond in the same state of maturity in which it started its earthly life, and even there an ascent will be difficult for such souls because their will to reject all instruction is still as strong as on earth. Moreover, its thoughts are also confused, it knows nothing of its physical death, and thus it can rarely only be brought to a different way of thinking through the instruction of spiritual friends, because the views the human being possessed on earth also caused it to become arrogant. I would like to come to their aid while they are still on earth.... I would like to give their thought structure a nasty jolt, I would like to let them look into a light, I would just once like to make them also reckon with the possibility of a spiritual world.... I want to offer them every assistance in stepping from the flat path, which is aimless, onto that path which leads upwards.... I only want to make them realize the worthlessness of all material goods once, so that they seriously consider the purpose and aim of their existence on earth. For especially these people are difficult to guide because everything spiritual, every belief in another world, in a continuation of the soul, only appears to them as a sign of naivety of their fellow human beings, from which they themselves want to be and remain free. And these people are therefore particularly sensitively affected by strokes of fate; the transience of the earthly is so often brought home to them, yet only rarely with success. But the abundance of such events, which will also increase, shall become understandable to you if you also remember the large number of those who have precisely this unspiritual view of life.... And if I only win a few of them, if only a few allow themselves to be addressed by Me through such strokes of fate, if their direction of vision now changes and they let go of their previous thinking.... then I will have achieved much, and the strokes of fate were a blessing.... For until the end of every person's life I wrestle for his soul in order to spare it the infinitely long time in the kingdom of the beyond where it is lightless and all efforts made on such souls remain fruitless. What the human being achieves on earth signifies a considerable head start which the soul can no longer catch up with in the beyond. And since precisely these people are in the majority on earth it is understandable that I have to resort to ever stronger means which you.... who are devout.... will not be able to explain to you as being based on My love. But you don't know about the hardship of those souls, which can last an infinitely long time.... you don't know how valuable one day on earth is when you consciously strive towards the aim.... and how many days are thus lived completely uselessly by those whom I also want to win for Me and My kingdom. And the most painful event can be regarded as the greatest grace if it causes a person to consciously strive towards the aim.... For the earth will pass away and nothing will remain for the person who has only ever lived his earthly life. But the spiritual kingdom will remain, only it can become a tormenting abode for the soul for eternity if it closes itself when its light is brought....

Gottes Ringen um die Weltmenschen....

Auch den Menschen wendet sich Meine Liebe und Erbarmung zu, die sich noch in völlig materiellem Denken befinden, die ihren Erdengang zurücklegen ohne jegliche geistige Bindung.... die nur das bewerten, was ihnen sichtbar und greifbar ist und alles Nicht-zu-Beweisende bedenkenlos ablehnen. Diese Menschen brauchen nicht gerade schlecht zu sein, sie können einen gerechten Lebenswandel führen, aber sie wehren jeglichen geistigen Zustrom ab, was soviel bedeutet, als daß sie stets auf gleicher Stufe stehenbleiben, daß sie einen ebenen Weg gehen und am Ende ihres Erdenlebens keinerlei geistigen Fortschritt verzeichnen können und der ganze Erdenlauf gleichsam vergeblich war für die Seele.... für das, was nach dem Leibestode bestehenbleibt. Es braucht die Seele sich also nicht rückschrittlich entwickelt zu haben, und dennoch hat sie keinen Erfolg zu verbuchen.... Sie geht im gleichen Reifezustand in das jenseitige Reich ein, in dem sie das Erdenleben begonnen hat, und auch dort wird ein Aufstieg für solche Seelen schwer sein, weil ihr Ablehnungswille jeder Belehrung gegenüber noch ebenso stark ist wie auf Erden. Zudem sind auch ihre Gedanken verwirrt, sie weiß nichts von ihrem leiblichen Tode, und sie kann also selten nur durch Belehrung geistiger Freunde zu anderem Denken gebracht werden, weil die Anschauungen, die der Mensch auf Erden besaß, sie auch überheblich werden ließen.... Allen denen möchte Ich zu Hilfe kommen, solange sie noch auf Erden weilen.... Ich möchte ihrem Gedankengebäude einen argen Stoß versetzen, Ich möchte sie in ein Licht schauen lassen, Ich möchte sie nur einmal dazu bewegen, auch mit der Möglichkeit einer geistigen Welt zu rechnen.... Ich möchte ihnen jede Hilfestellung bieten, von dem ebenen Weg, der ziellos ist, auf jenen Pfad zu treten, der nach oben führt.... Ich möchte nur sie die Wertlosigkeit aller materiellen Güter einmal erkennen lassen, auf daß sie sich ernstlich mit dem Gedanken an Zweck und Ziel ihres Erdendaseins befassen. Denn gerade diese Menschen sind schwer zu lenken, weil ihnen alles Geistige, jeglicher Glaube an eine andere Welt, an ein Fortleben der Seele, nur als ein Zeichen von Naivität der Mitmenschen erscheint, von der sie selbst frei sein und bleiben wollen. Und jene Menschen werden daher besonders empfindlich von Schicksalsschlägen getroffen; es wird ihnen die Vergänglichkeit des Irdischen so oft vor Augen geführt, doch auch nur selten mit Erfolg. Aber die Fülle solcher Ereignisse, die auch noch zunehmen wird, soll euch verständlich werden, wenn ihr auch der großen Zahl derer gedenket, die ebenjene ungeistige Lebensanschauung haben.... Und wenn Ich nur einige wenige von ihnen gewinne, wenn nur einige wenige sich anreden lassen von Mir durch solche Schicksalsschläge, wenn deren Blickrichtung sich nun wandelt und sie von ihrem bisherigen Denken ablassen.... dann habe Ich viel erreicht, und die Schicksalsschläge waren von Segen.... Denn bis zum Lebensende eines jeden Menschen ringe Ich um dessen Seele, um ihr die endlos lange Zeit im jenseitigen Reich zu ersparen, wo es in ihr lichtlos ist und alle Bemühungen fruchtlos bleiben, die an solchen Seelen unternommen werden. Was der Mensch auf Erden erreicht, bedeutet einen erheblichen Vorsprung, den die Seele im Jenseits nicht mehr einholen kann. Und da gerade diese Menschen in der Mehrzahl auf Erden sind, ist es verständlich, daß Ich zu immer stärkeren Mitteln greifen muß, die ihr.... die ihr gläubig seid.... euch nicht werdet erklären können als in Meiner Liebe begründet. Ihr aber wisset nicht um die Not jener Seelen, die endlos lange Zeiten währen kann.... ihr wisset nicht, wie wertvoll ein Tag auf Erden ist, an dem ihr bewußt das Ziel anstrebet.... und wie viele Tage also völlig nutzlos gelebt werden von jenen, die Ich auch gewinnen möchte für Mich und Mein Reich. Und das schmerzlichste Geschehen kann als größte Gnade gewertet werden, wenn es einen Menschen veranlaßt zum bewußten Streben nach dem Ziel.... Denn die Erde wird vergehen, und nichts wird dem Menschen bleiben, der immer nur sein irdisches Leben gelebt hat. Aber das geistige Reich bleibt bestehen, nur kann es ewige Zeiten für die Seele zum quälenden Aufenthalt werden, wenn sie selbst sich verschließet, so ihr Licht gebracht wird....
