The correct use of time on earth....

Earthly life is but short yet time in the beyond is infinitely long.... Hence you humans should use this earthly time well, you should accept every difficulty and utilise all your strength for the salvation of your soul. You should renounce all comforts of life and with your rejection ensure your claim for spiritual wealth which determines your fate in eternity after the death of your body, which is the only beneficiary of earthly possession but may not keep them forever. Compared to eternity earthly life is but a moment and you should not consider this moment so important.... and yet consider it extremely important for your soul.... thus constantly evaluate it spiritually. Although during your time on earth you have a concept of time by which your days and years appear to be long.... but consider that infinite periods have already preceded this earthly life and eternity will follow.... You, however, are only conscious of your lifetime on earth and therefore it means everything to you.

Nevertheless you know that your body has to die.... you know, that everything earthly is transient, you know, that everything your body had found indispensable and gave it a sense of well-being cannot be of any use to you after your death. Therefore consider this first and consider what to expect after the death of your body.... You can prepare an extremely wonderful existence for your soul during your earthly life but also a state of agony and darkness.... Time and again you are told that you will live on.... You are not without knowledge of this even if you don’t want to believe it.... Consequently consider the possibility and make provisions.... Live virtuously on earth and don’t set your heart on material things which, after all, will be taken from you again.... Don’t consider the body at the expense of your soul.... First care for your soul then your body won’t go short either, but don’t let your thoughts move into the wrong direction and let the soul go short because of the body. For your soul is your true Self, the Self which is immortal and one day can be blessed if you work for and accomplish this bliss on earth....

The happiest hours on earth pass like intoxication, earthly pleasures don’t make you happy forever, earthly life slips by fast.... but you cannot avoid your fate in eternity and that will correspond to your life on earth.... Eternal life or spiritual death.... you alone choose the conditions for yourselves in eternity because it is up to you what kind of life you live on earth. Evaluate your earthly life correctly.... so that it leads to the maturity of your soul and is not just used for the well-being of the body.... because you only stay briefly on this earth yet eternity is infinitely long....

이 땅의 기간을 올바른 사용하는 일.

이 땅의 삶은 짧지만 그 후의 시간은 끝이 없다. 그러므로 너희 사람들은 이 땅의 시간을 잘 활용해야 하고 모든 어려움을 감당해야 하고 너희 혼의 구원을 위해 모든 힘을 사용해야 한다. 너희는 너희의 삶의 안락함을 포기해야 하고 이런 포기를 통해 영적인 재물에 대한 너희의 권리를 확보해야 한다. 너희 몸은 세상의 재물로부터 유일하게 유익을 얻을 수 있지만 그러나 세상 재물을 영원히 간직하지 못한다. 이런 너희의 몸이 죽은 후 영원 가운데 영적인 재물이 너희의 운명을 정한다.

이 땅의 삶은 영원에 비하면 한 순간과 같다. 너희는 이런 순간을 너무 중요하게 여겨서는 안 된다. 그러나 너희는 이런 순간을 너희의 혼을 위해서는 다시 아주 중요하게 여기고 그러므로 항상 영적으로 활용하려고 시도하라. 너희는 실제 너희의 이 땅의 시간에 대한 개념을 가지고 있다. 너희에게 하루동안 일년동안이라는 감각이 있다. 그러나 끝없는 시간들이 이미 이 땅의 삶보다 앞서 있었고 영원이 뒤따른다는 것을 생각하라. 그러나 너희는 단지 이 땅의 시간을 의식한다. 그러므로 이 땅의 시간이 너희에게는 모든 시간을 의미한다. 그러나 너희는 너희 몸이 죽어야 한다는 것을 알고 세상의 모든 것이 헛된 것이라는 것을 알고 너희가 죽은 후에 몸에게 없어서는 안 되고 몸을 행복하게 하는 어떤 것도 너희에게 쓸모가 없게 된다는 것을 안다. 그러므로 먼저 이를 고려하고 너희가 죽은 후에 너희를 기다리고 있게 될 것을 돌보라.

너희는 이 땅의 삶에서 너희 혼에게 아주 영광스러운 상태를 마련해 줄 수 있다. 그러나 너희는 또한 너희 혼에게 고통과 어두움의 상태를 마련해줄 수 있다. 너희는 항상 또 다시 너희가 계속 살게 될 것이라는 말을 듣게 될 것이다. 너희가 이를 믿기를 원하지 않을지라도 너희는 이를 모르지 않는다. 그러므로 가능성을 예상하고 예비하라. 이 땅에서 선한 사람을 살라. 너희 심장이 너희가 다시 빼앗길 물질에 집착하지 말라. 너희의 혼을 희생하면서 몸을 생각하지 말라. 먼저 너희 혼을 돌보라. 그러면 육체도 굶주릴 필요가 없게 될 것이다. 그러나 너희 생각이 몸 때문에 혼이 굶주리게 하는 잘못 된 길로 가지 않게 하라. 왜냐면 혼이 너희의 실제 소멸되지 않고 너희가 이 땅에서 혼의 축복을 위해 창조하고 일하면, 언젠가 축복되게 될 너희 자신이기 때문이다.

세상에서 가장 아름다운 시간은 연기처럼 사라지고 세상의 쾌락이 너희를 영원히 행복하게 만들지 못하고 세상의 삶은 빠르게 지나간다. 그러나 너희는 영원 가운데 처하는 운명을 피하지 못한다. 이 운명은 너희가 이 땅에서 사는 삶에 합당하게 될 것이다. 즉 영원한 생명이나 또는 영적인 죽음이 될 것이다. 너희가 유일하게 영원 가운데 너희의 상태를 택한다. 왜냐면 너희가 이 땅에서 어떤 삶을 살지가 너희에게 달려 있기 때문이다. 너희의 이 땅의 삶을 올바르게 활용하라. 이로써 너희 혼이 성숙하게 만들라. 그러나 단지 육체의 행복을 위해 사용하지 말라. 왜냐면 너희가 단지 짧은 기간 동안 이 땅에서 살지만 영원은 끝 없이 길기 때문이다.
