The gift of distinction of spirits will let you clearly recognize from which side you are influenced as soon as you only ever strive for truth, as soon as you are only interested in recognizing evil in order to avoid it, and you want to subordinate yourselves to good so that it will be a blessing for you. God truly does not leave you in uncertainty, He gives you clarity where you are not yet able to see the reason, for God wants you, who only strive to live in truth, to also recognize it fully consciously and to reject all error as the work of His adversary. And let this be an unmistakable sign to you that you hear God's voice when it speaks to you gently and lovingly, when it soothes your mind and makes you inwardly happy and joyful.... For as soon as He Himself speaks through a human being, as soon as He expresses Himself through every spirit, you will feel addressed and the thought of rejection will not arise in you in the first place.... whereas everything unclear, everything that affects you negatively, also comes from a negative spirit and has no claim to truth. For the adversary of God cannot hide his true face, no matter how he camouflages himself.... The influence on the heart of man is according to his desire.... satisfying for the one who is far removed from the truth, who is therefore more inclined towards the adversary than towards God.... whereas it is repulsive for the one who has devoted himself to God and thus to the eternal truth. You can distinguish between spirits as soon as you only want to distinguish between them, for this will already proves the desire for truth, which is also fulfilled. And all of you who want to serve God must learn to distinguish in order to remain free from error.... All of you must sincerely join God and appeal for His help if you 'test the spirits'.... And He will give you the gift of discernment, He will not allow the proclaimers of the gospel to be deceived, whom He Himself chose for their service on earth because they fully submitted their will to His.... He will not allow them to proclaim what does not correspond to the truth; He will not allow them themselves to be in doubt as to who speaks to them, for He Who is the eternal truth Himself does not let those walk in error who want to be active for Him and who proclaim His word in His name.... He gives them brightness of spirit and always guides their thinking right....

Gabe der Unterscheidung der Geister....

Die Gabe der Unterscheidung der Geister wird euch klar erkennen lassen, von welcher Seite ihr beeinflußt werdet, sowie ihr nur immer die Wahrheit anstrebet, sowie euch nur daran gelegen ist, das Böse zu erkennen, um es zu meiden, und ihr euch dem Guten unterordnen wollet, auf daß es euch zum Segen gereiche. Gott lässet euch wahrlich nicht im Ungewissen, Er schenkt euch Klarheit, wo ihr noch nicht auf den Grund zu sehen vermöget, denn Gott will, daß ihr, die ihr nur in der Wahrheit zu wandeln trachtet, diese auch vollbewußt erkennet und jeglichen Irrtum zurückweiset als Wirken Seines Gegners. Und das sei euch ein untrügliches Zeichen, daß ihr Gottes Stimme hört, so sie sanft und liebevoll zu euch spricht, so sie euer Gemüt besänftigt und euch innerlich froh und glücklich macht.... Denn sowie Er Selbst spricht durch einen Menschen, sowie Er Selbst Sich äußert durch jeglichen Geist, fühlet ihr euch angesprochen, und der Gedanke an eine Zurückweisung kommt in euch nicht erst auf.... während alles Unklare, alles, was euch negativ berührt, auch aus einem negativen Geist kommt und nicht den Anspruch hat auf Wahrheit. Denn der Gegner Gottes kann sein wahres Antlitz nicht verbergen, und ob er sich noch so tarnt.... Die Einwirkung auf das Herz des Menschen ist dessen Verlangen gemäß.... befriedigend für den, der fernab steht von der Wahrheit, der also dem Gegner mehr zugewandt ist als Gott.... dagegen abstoßend den berührend, der sich Gott und also der ewigen Wahrheit verschrieben hat. Ihr könnet die Geister unterscheiden, sowie ihr nur sie unterscheiden wollet, denn dieser Wille schon beweiset das Verlangen nach der Wahrheit, der auch entsprochen wird. Und ihr alle, die ihr Gott dienen wollet, müsset unterscheiden lernen, um von Irrtum frei zu bleiben.... Ihr alle müsset euch innig Gott anschließen und Seinen Beistand erbitten, so ihr "prüfet die Geister...." Und Er wird euch die Gabe der Unterscheidung geben, Er wird es nicht zulassen, daß getäuscht werden die Verkünder des Evangeliums, die Er Selbst zu ihrem Dienst auf Erden erwählte, weil sie ihren Willen voll und ganz dem Seinen unterstellten.... Er wird es nicht zulassen, daß diese künden, was nicht der Wahrheit entspricht; Er wird es nicht zulassen, daß sie selbst in Zweifel geraten, wer sich ihnen gegenüber äußert, denn Der, Der die ewige Wahrheit Selbst ist, Der lässet nicht im Irrtum wandeln, die für Ihn tätig sein wollen und die in Seinem Namen Sein Wort verkünden.... Er schenkt ihnen Helligkeit des Geistes und leitet immer ihr Denken recht....
