Mentally blind.... rays of light....

Everything remains hidden from the spiritually blind, he lacks all realization, he is unable to take a look into the kingdom of the spirit, for he has closed his eyes and no ray of light is able to penetrate them; he walks in constant darkness.... and no matter how vividly he may move in the earthly world, no matter how earthly success he may have.... this does not change the blind state his soul is in, a state devoid of all light and therefore also devoid of all strength to leave the darkness. But the spiritually blind person himself keeps his eyes closed to the light. Therefore he cannot be pitied as a victim of his fate, as a being inadequately considered by God, who is deprived of every realization, every ray of light. He, too, is illuminated by the divine light of love and only needed to open himself, he only needed to expose himself to this radiation of light without resistance, then he would also open his eyes in order to see from where he receives the benefit of the rays of light.... i.e., the divine radiation.... the word of God.... will also be supplied to him, and if he only receives it.... and if he merely listened to it it would also have a beneficial effect on him, and the desire would awaken in him to hear ever more, his spirit's eye would open and the light would now shine in and illuminate everything that had been dark in him until now. But the spiritually blind person still resists God.... And therefore it is his own fault that he is unable to see, that he always walks in the night, that the light of the morning cannot make him happy. The spiritually blind person has a strong will which is directed against everything that signifies light.... And he rarely gives up this will. For mostly these blind in spirit feel exceedingly comfortable in the earthly world and are devoted to it with all their senses, thus their will is fully turned towards God's adversary and he keeps them bound.... he deceives them with so much light that they don't feel their spiritual blindness, that they only chase after these blinding lights more and more and don't realize what illusion and deception they have fallen prey to.... But their spiritual darkness also prevents them from recognizing what is offered to them as deceptive light by God's adversary. And this also strengthens their resistance against every radiation of light which touches them from above.... They can become seeing, they can receive much divine light as soon as they open themselves, as soon as they are willing to give up their resistance.... as soon as they desire to become seeing, which is still possible as long as they live on earth. For even the spiritually blind can grow weary of the world with its pleasures, if he has enjoyed them abundantly.... He too can recognize the worthlessness and impermanence of earthly goods and no longer be satisfied with them.... The desire for knowledge about hidden things can also awaken in him, and then it is still possible that his eyes will be opened, that he will turn to where he believes to discover rays of light, and then he can also come to realization, which will-o'-the-wisps he has been chasing until now, and then it is still not too late to turn to the one Whom he has recognized as the eternal light and to appeal to Him for His grace that He may also open his eyes and grant him the light which will henceforth illuminate his path.... And his request will be heard....

Ciechi spirituali - Raggi di Luce

Al cieco spirituale rimane nascosto tutto, gli manca ogni conoscenza, non è in grado di gettare uno sguardo nel Regno dello Spirito, perché ha chiuso i suoi occhi e nessun raggi di Luce vi può penetrare; cammina nella costante oscurità e per quanto si voglia muovere ancora vivacemente nel mondo terreno, per quanti successi terreni possa mostrare, non cambia nulla nel suo stato cieco nel quale si trova la sua anima, nello stato privo di qualsiasi Luce e perciò anche privo di Forza per abbandonare il buio. Ma il cieco spirituale stesso tiene chiuso i suoi occhi per la Luce. Perciò non può essere compianto come vittima del suo destino, come un essere provveduto scarsamente da Dio, al quale viene nascosta ogni conoscenza, ogni raggio di Luce. Anche lui viene irradiato dalla divina Luce dell’Amore e dovrebbe solo aprirsi, dovrebbe solo esporsi senza resistenza a quest’irradiazione di Luce, allora aprirebbe anche i suoi occhi per vedere da dove riceve il beneficio dei raggi di Luce, cioè anche a lui viene guidata la divina Irradiazione, la Parola di Dio, e se soltanto l’ascoltasse, avrebbe anche un effetto benefico su di lui ed in lui si risveglierebbe il desiderio di sentire sempre di più, si aprirebbe l’occhio del suo spirito ed ora la Luce entrerebbe ed illuminerebbe tutto ciò che in lui era buoi finora. Ma il cieco spirituale è ancora nella resistenza contro Dio. E perciò è la sua propria colpa che non è in grado di vedere, che cammina sempre nella notte, che la Luce del mattino non lo può rendere felice. Il cieco spirituale ha una forte volontà che è rivolta contro tutto ciò che significa Luce. E solo di rado rinuncia a questa volontà. Perché questi ciechi nello spirito si sentono quasi sempre oltremodo bene nel mondo terreno e ne sono dedito con tutti i sensi, quindi la loro volontà è rivolta totalmente all’avversario di Dio e costui li tiene incatenati, li inganna con tanta Luce, che non sentono la loro cecità spirituale e non riconoscono, a quale apparenza ed inganno sono caduti. Ma la loro oscurità spirituale li ostacola anche nel riconoscere ciò che viene offerto loro come luce d’inganno dall’avversario di Dio. E così rafforza anche la loro resistenza contro ogni radiazione di Luce che li tocca dall’Alto. Possono diventare vedenti, possono ricevere molta Luce divina, appena si aprono solamente, appena sono disposti a rinunciare alla loro resistenza, appena desiderano diventare vedenti, cosa che è sempre ancora possibile, finché vivono sulla Terra. Perché anche il cieco spirituale può disgustarsi del mondo con le sue gioie, quando li ha gustati in abbondanza. Anche lui può riconoscere l’inutilità e l’incostanza dei beni terreni e non accontentarsene più. Anche in lui si può risvegliare il desiderio per il sapere di cose nascoste, ed allora è sempre ancora possibile, che gli vengano aperti gli occhi, che si rivolga là dove crede di scoprire i raggi di Luce, ed allora può anche ricevere la conoscenza, quali luci d’inganno ha inseguito finora, ed allora non è sempre ancora troppo tardi di rivolgersi all’Uno, il Quale ha riconosciuto come l’eterna Luce e chiedere a Lui la Sua Grazia, che Egli apra anche a lui gli occhi e gli voglia dare la Luce che d’ora in poi gli illumini la via. E la sua richiesta troverà l’esaudimento.
