Transformational work.... ability to think.... belief in continuation of life....

I have created you not only for this world but for eternity. Your life on earth as a human being is only the smallest phase in your existence, it is one of the infinitely many stages you have to go through before you can live an eternal life as blissful spiritual beings.... You can no longer perish, even if you are still so inadequately formed by your own will. But your aim is perfection, and in order to achieve it you have to pass through the countless stages of your development.... one of which is earthly life as a human being. If you humans believe that your existence only lasts from your birth until the death of your body, your belief is a sign of even worse deficiency, for then you lack all knowledge which, however, brings with it increasing maturity. As a human being you are capable of thinking and thus you can attain realization, yet this presupposes a right way of life which you determine yourselves through your free will. Hence, as a human being you have the opportunity to change your still imperfect state at birth into a state of perfection, you have the opportunity and also the ability to do so because I have endowed you with gifts and also provide you with graces so that you will reach your aim.... If you now make use of the possibilities, even if you are unaware of the success, then the belief will soon come alive in you that the time on earth is only a transition.... Thus you no longer believe that your life will end with the death of your body, and this belief is already proof of the progress of your soul, which is your actual self and to which the description 'immortal' therefore applies. This self cannot pass away but it can be in constant transformation, and this work of transformation is your task during your earthly life if a stage of development is not to pass by unused. At the beginning of earthly life this self of yours is still a dead being.... without realization and without life, because it first has to be awakened to the right life by a flow of strength emanating from Me and because this flow of strength can only touch it when it wants it itself.... Therefore the intellect, the thinking faculty, was given to people, and the body's vital functions could now be driven by the human being's intellect to let the will become active in one direction. Life approaches the human being such that he is urged from within to be active in love, even if his intellect is not yet strongly developed.... and, depending on his will to give in to this inner urge, it enlivens the still ossified soul, which can now also give the will the right direction because it is already illuminated by the smallest deed of love by that strength which gives it life. Thus love awakens the soul's life, love gives the will the right direction, and love also gives the human being the power of realization which becomes all the more evident the more consciously the human being lives a life of love which pushes him more and more towards Me and also guarantees him right thinking and willing.... This is why a person who lives a life of love will also never deny a continuation of life after death, because his thinking cannot go astray, because My strength of love flows into him with every work of love he performs.... Every work of love connects the human being with Me and gives him brightness of spirit, the soul is no longer dead, it lives and knows that it cannot perish eternally.... and it also conveys this certainty to the human being's intellect, which now cannot help but represent the belief in a continuation of life with all eloquence, but which also believes with conviction because life is in it, and which has also reached a degree of maturity at its demise on earth which assures it a life in eternity, which signifies a state of tireless activity for the soul, which makes it inconceivably blissful and consists of constant activity of love....

변화시키는 역사. 생각할 수 있는 능력. 계속되는 삶을 믿는 믿음.

나는 너희를 단지 이 세상을 위해 창조한 것이 아니라 영원을 위해 창조했다. 인간으로서 이 땅에서 사는 너희의 삶은 너희가 존재해온 가운데 너희가 영원히 지속되는 축복받은 영의 존재가 되어 살기 전에 거쳐야만 하는 셀 수 없이 많은 단계 가운데 단지 하나의 가장 작은 단계이다. 너희 자신의 의지에 의해 너희가 아주 온전하지 못하게 될지라도 너희는 더 이상 소멸될 수 없다. 그러나 너희의 목표는 온전하게 되는 일이고 이를 달성하기 위해 너희가 수많은 성장단계를 거쳐야만 하고 이런 단계들 중 하나가 인간으로 이 땅에서 사는 삶이다.

너희 사람들이 이제 너희의 존재가 너희가 태어난 후 몸이 죽을 때까지만 지속된다고 믿는다면, 너희의 믿음에 아직 심각한 결핍이 있다는 신호이다. 왜냐면 너희에게 높아지는 성장정도가 얻게 하는 깨달음이 부족하기 때문이다. 너희는 인간으로서 생각할 수 있고 따라서 깨달음에 도달할 수 있지만 그러나 깨달음에 도달하기 위해 너희의 자유의지를 통해 너희 자신이 정한 올바른 삶이 필요하다. 그러므로 너희 사람들에게 태어날 때 가진 아직 결함이 있는 상태를 온전한 상태로 바꿀 가능성이 있다. 내가 너희가 너희의 목표에 도달하도록 너희에게 선물과 은혜를 부여했기 때문에 너희에게 바꿀 가능성과 능력이 있다.

너희가 성공을 의식하지 않는 가운데 이런 가능성을 활용하면, 너희 안에 이 땅의 기간이 단지 과정이라는 믿음이 살아날 것이다. 즉 너희는 더 이상 너희의 육체의 죽음으로 너희의 삶의 끝난다는 것을 믿지 않게 된다. 이런 믿음은 이미 너희의 진정한 자신이고 불멸한다고 인정하는 너희의 혼이 성장했다는 증거이다. 나라는 정체성은 소멸되지 않지만 그러나 끊임없이 변하는 중에 있고 한 성장 단계를 활용하지 않고 지나가지 않게 하려면, 이런 변화되는 일이 너희가 이 땅에서 사는 동안에 해야 할 너희의 과제이다.

이런 너희의 자아는 이 땅의 삶을 시작할 때 깨달음이 없고 생명이 없는 아직 죽은 존재이다. 왜냐면 먼저 나로부터 나온 힘의 흐름이 진정한 생명으로 깨어나게 해야만 하고 존재가 스스로 이런 힘의 흐름을 원하면, 비로소 힘의 흐름이 존재에게 도달할 수 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 사람은 이성과 생각할 능력을 부여받았고 인간의 이성이 신체의 생명의 기능을 이끌 수 있고 의지를 한 방향을 향해 일하게 할 수 있다. 비록 사람의 이성이 아직 강하게 발달되지 않았을지라도 사람에게 생명이 임하여 그가 내면으로부터 사랑을 행하도록 이끌림을 받게 만들고 이런 내적인 충동을 따르려는 그의 의지에 따라 그가 아직 경직된 혼을 살아나게 하고 혼은 이제 의지에게 올바른 방향을 줄 수 있다. 왜냐면 혼이 가장 작은 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 혼에게 생명을 주는 힘을 받기 때문이다.

그러므로 사랑이 혼의 생명이 깨어나게 하고 사랑이 의지에게 올바른 방향을 제공하고 사랑이 또한 사람에게 깨달을 힘을 준다. 사람이 의식적으로 사랑의 삶을 살수록 깨달을 수 있는 능력이 커지고 이런 삶이 그가 점점 더 나에게 향하게 하고 그가 올바르게 생각하고 원하는 일을 보장한다. 그러므로 사랑을 행하는 사람은 죽음 후에 계속되는 삶을 절대로 부인하지 않을 것이다. 왜냐면 그의 생각이 잘못될 수 없고 그가 행하는 모든 사랑과 함께 내 사랑의 힘이 그에게 흘러 가기 때문이다.

모든 사랑을 행하는 일이 사람을 나와 연결시키고 그의 영을 밝게 하고 혼은 더 이상 죽지 않고 혼은 살아 있고 영원히 소멸될 수 없다는 것을 안다. 혼은 또한 이런 확신을 사람의 이성에게 전하고 사람은 이제 계속되는 삶을 믿는 믿음을 모든 웅변을 동원하여 대변하고 확신을 가지고 믿게 된다. 왜냐면 그 안에 생명이 있기 때문이고 그가 죽을 때 그에게 영원 가운데 생명을 보장하는 성숙한 정도에 그가 도달했기 때문이다. 영원한 생명은 혼에게 혼이 지칠 줄 모르는 활동하는 상태를 의미하고 이런 활동이 혼을 상상할 수 없게 축복되게 하고 이런 활동은 끊임없이 사랑을 행하는 일이다.
