Thought currents correspond to will....

Every now and then thoughts impose themselves upon you which originate from the realm of unenlightened spirits which, because they are still earthly minded, stay in the vicinity of people and try to transfer their materialistic thinking upon them. The human being is constantly surrounded by thought currents, yet he only ever accepts that mental information which corresponds to his will; and since the human being is unable to completely detach himself from earthly things as long as he lives on earth, it is understandable that beings which are still earthly-minded can also access his mind. Although they can't often penetrate spiritually-striving people, the thoughts certainly affect them, but they are not retained and leave no impression on the person.... And thus there is no danger if such beings occasionally push themselves forward in order to be heard, because the spiritual world.... the beings of the kingdom of light, already have far greater influence and are willingly listened to and thus time and again chase earthly thoughts away in order to express themselves. However, one thing the human being should not neglect.... to observe himself and to resist earthly thoughts as far as possible when he wants to establish a spiritual connection.... He should not mix spiritual knowledge with earthly information, for he himself is the cause if certain beings intervene if he does not remove himself from the world, if he does not withdraw into solitude and mentally detaches himself from everything that surrounds him.... A person can certainly resist thoughts he doesn't want, he need only briefly call upon God for protection and help, and every approach by these earthly-minded beings will be prevented by the beings of light, which are then entitled to form a wall around the person who wants to make contact with them.... This will render every misguided or earthly influence impossible and opens the heart to spiritual influence, which always corresponds to truth.... As soon as the human being is aware of the correlation, of the mental influx by beings from both realms, he will, providing he is serious, check himself and thus protect himself from disagreeable mental currents, for the human being's will is decisive as to whether these beings gain access to him, but his will also assures him the truth as soon as his will turns to the beings of light which then have the right and God's instruction to convey light to him. Hence, to receive spiritual knowledge in order to pass it on to fellow human beings is a responsible mission which may only be administered by people of serious will who simply want to receive and distribute the pure truth. This determination will always be granted and ignorant beings are therefore denied access when a person hands himself over to spiritual forces to receive the truth.... Then he will be protected from all error, because God Himself blesses those who desire the truth and want to spread it, and His blessing guarantees purest truth, thus protection from misguidance, protection from the forces of darkness....

Gedankenwellen entsprechend dem Willen....

Es drängen sich euch zuweilen Gedanken auf, die ihren Ursprung haben in dem Reiche lichtloser Geister, die also, weil sie noch irdisch gesinnt sind, sich auch in der Nähe der Menschen aufhalten, denen sie nun ihr materielles Denken zu übertragen suchen. Der Mensch ist ständig von Gedankenwellen umspült, doch er nimmt immer nur das Gedankengut in sich auf, das seinem Willen entspricht; und da der Mensch, solange er auf Erden weilt, auch nicht vollständig sich lösen kann von Irdischem, ist es verständlich, daß auch die Wesen Zutritt haben in seine Gedankenwelt, die noch irdisch gesinnt sind. Sie dringen aber bei geistig strebenden Menschen nicht oft durch, die Gedanken berühren sie wohl, bleiben aber nicht lange haften, sie beeindrucken den Menschen nicht.... Und also ist keine Gefahr, wenn sich zuweilen solche Wesen vordrängen, um sich Gehör zu verschaffen, weil die geistige Welt.... die Wesen des Lichtreiches, schon weit größeren Einfluß haben und willig angehört werden und also immer wieder irdische Gedanken verjagen, um sich selbst kundzugeben. Nur eines soll der Mensch nicht versäumen.... sich selbst zu beobachten und möglichst irdischen Gedanken zu wehren, wenn er eine geistige Verbindung herstellen will.... Er soll nicht geistiges Gedankengut mit irdischem vermengen, denn er selbst gibt dazu Anlaß, wenn sich gewisse Wesen einschalten, sowie er sich nicht frei macht von der Welt, sowie er sich nicht in die Stille zurückzieht und sich gedanklich löset von allem, was ihn umgibt.... Es kann der Mensch wohl den Gedanken wehren, die ihm nicht recht sind, er braucht nur einen kurzen Anruf senden zu Gott um Schutz und Hilfe, und jede Annäherung dieser irdisch gesinnten Wesen wird abgewehrt von Lichtwesen, die dann das Recht dazu haben, eine Mauer zu bilden um den Menschen, der sich ihnen verbinden will.... Dann ist jede irrige oder irdische Beeinflussung unmöglich und das Herz geöffnet für geistige Einströmung, die immer der Wahrheit entspricht.... Sowie der Mensch weiß um den Zusammenhang, um die gedankliche Anstrahlung von Wesen beider Reiche, wird er sich selbst, so er es ernst meint, beachten und also schützen vor Gedankenwellen, die ihm nicht zuträglich sind, denn der Wille des Menschen ist ausschlaggebend, ob jene Wesen bei ihm Eingang finden, und der Wille sichert aber auch ihm die Wahrheit, sowie sein Wille sich den Wesen zuwendet, die im Licht stehen und nun das Recht haben und den Auftrag von Gott, ihm Licht zu vermitteln. Geistiges Gut nun zu empfangen, um es den Mitmenschen weiterzugeben, ist ein verantwortungsreiches Amt, das auch nur die Menschen verwalten dürfen, die ernsten Willens sind und nur die reine Wahrheit empfangen und verbreiten wollen. Diesem Willen wird stets entsprochen und darum immer den unwissenden Kräften der Zugang verwehrt, wenn sich der Mensch zur Entgegennahme der Wahrheit den geistigen Kräften überlässet.... Dann wird er geschützt sein vor jeglichem Irrtum, weil Gott Selbst segnet, die nach der Wahrheit verlangen und diese verbreiten wollen, und Sein Segen auch reinste Wahrheit garantiert, also Schutz vor Irreführung, Schutz vor den Kräften der Finsternis....
