Wrestling in the spiritual world.... intercession and recitation of the gospel....

It is an incomparable struggle in the spiritual world, for the number of lower spirits increases immeasurably and they constantly multiply because the people departing from earth are completely under the spell of the one who rules the kingdom of darkness. It is a seemingly overwhelming task to redeem the souls from this kingdom; it is a struggle on the part of the world of light which is only ever conducted with love and requires excessive patience and perseverance, for again and again the dark beings are active to hold back a soul wanting to escape from them, which is why the struggle takes place, as it were, between the beings of light and the forces of darkness for the souls of people who are not yet completely hopelessly enslaved by God's adversary. But the will of the souls has to be stimulated so that it demands upwards, because then the beings of light can intervene with their power, whereas before they were not allowed to use any power at all. And this effort to direct the will of the souls is incomparably difficult and often also without success. Whatever the souls are reproached with, they are unbelieving and accept nothing. And yet they must not be abandoned by the beings of light because only perseverance leads to the aim. Nor can they face the souls of darkness in all their fullness of light so as not to force the will to listen to them. They must appear in the same envelope and illuminate their hardship as if from within themselves in order to induce them to change their situation. Their love touches them charitably, but the spiritual hardship of the souls is often so great that they are dulled and no longer accessible to any instruction. They can only be won over by repeated attempts, because their hardship also becomes more unbearable the longer they resist. If the beings of light are supported by people on earth through intercession or mental attention to the gospel, the souls will be more willing to listen to them because they receive strength which weakens their will to refuse, and then the light beings' efforts will also be successful. People's thoughts on earth can work true miracles in the spiritual kingdom.... As a result the souls are moved into a certain urge to be active, they feel a strength which they now want to use, and they suddenly have the desire to improve their wretched state, they look around, as it were, for an opportunity to escape their present situation, and they will also always find helpful beings.... beings of light which, however, are not recognizable to them as such, which now assist them in word and deed. The beings of light will not tire of guiding those entrusted to them to ascent, only the first beginning is often incredibly difficult before the soul's will is willing to listen to them. For then the opposing forces ceaselessly endeavour to influence them adversarially and reject all who want to help them. A person's prayer on earth can then have an unspeakably beneficial effect, for the strength thereby imparted to the soul is always used in a positive sense. It is as if the soul then recognizes the hostility of the lower forces and the light beings' will to help, and it already turns willingly towards the latter and away from the lower forces. Help must be brought to the souls from one side if they themselves have not yet recognized what is at stake. And therefore loving intercession is the surest supply of strength because it is also perceptible to the being which is still turned away from God as a benefit and it then uses the strength, i.e. changes its will.... thus, through the influx of strength it gives up its resistance and is now easier to guide and influence by the beings which want to help it to ascend.... The struggle for these souls is unspeakably difficult but yet not hopeless, and therefore the beings of light do not tire and do not let up until they have drawn the souls out of darkness into eternal light....

É uma luta incomparável no mundo espiritual, pois o número de espíritos inferiores aumenta imensamente e multiplicam-se constantemente porque as pessoas que partem da terra estão completamente sob o feitiço daquele que governa o reino das trevas. É uma tarefa aparentemente esmagadora resgatar as almas deste reino; é uma luta por parte do mundo da luz que só é conduzida com amor e requer paciência e perseverança excessivas, pois uma e outra vez os seres das trevas estão activos para reter uma alma que quer fugir deles, razão pela qual a luta se realiza, por assim dizer, entre os seres da luz e as forças das trevas pelas almas das pessoas que ainda não estão completamente escravizadas pelo adversário de Deus. Mas a vontade das almas tem de ser estimulada para que exija o aumento, porque assim os seres de luz podem intervir com o seu poder, ao passo que antes não lhes era permitido usar qualquer poder. E este esforço para dirigir a vontade das almas é incomparavelmente difícil e muitas vezes também sem sucesso. Seja o que for que as almas sejam censuradas, elas são incrédulas e não aceitam nada. E no entanto não devem ser abandonados pelos seres da luz porque só a perseverança conduz ao objectivo. Nem podem enfrentar as almas das trevas em toda a sua plenitude de luz, para não forçar a vontade de as ouvir. Devem aparecer no mesmo envelope e iluminar as suas dificuldades como se viesse de dentro de si mesmos, a fim de os induzir a mudar a sua situação. O seu amor toca-lhes caridosamente, mas as dificuldades espirituais das almas são muitas vezes tão grandes que elas estão entorpecidas e já não são acessíveis a qualquer instrução. Só podem ser conquistados por repetidas tentativas, porque as suas dificuldades também se tornam mais insuportáveis quanto mais tempo resistirem. Se os seres de luz forem apoiados por pessoas na terra através da intercessão ou atenção mental ao Evangelho, as almas estarão mais dispostas a ouvi-los porque recebem forças que enfraquecem a sua vontade de recusar, e então os esforços dos seres de luz também serão bem sucedidos. Os pensamentos das pessoas na terra podem fazer verdadeiros milagres no reino espiritual.... Como resultado, as almas são movidas para um certo impulso de ser activas, sentem uma força que agora querem usar, e de repente têm o desejo de melhorar o seu estado miserável, procuram, por assim dizer, uma oportunidade de escapar à sua situação actual, e também encontrarão sempre seres úteis.... Seres de luz que, no entanto, não lhes são reconhecíveis como tal, que agora os assistem em palavras e actos. Os seres de luz não se cansarão de guiar aqueles que lhes são confiados para a ascensão, apenas o primeiro começo é muitas vezes incrivelmente difícil antes que a vontade da alma esteja disposta a escutá-los. Pois então as forças contrárias tentam incessantemente influenciá-las adversáriamente e rejeitar todos os que as querem ajudar. A oração de uma pessoa na terra pode então ter um efeito benéfico indescritível, pois a força assim transmitida à alma é sempre utilizada num sentido positivo. É como se a alma reconhecesse então a hostilidade das forças inferiores e a vontade dos seres leves de ajudar, e já se vira voluntariamente para estas últimas e se afasta das forças inferiores. A ajuda deve ser levada às almas de um lado se elas próprias ainda não tiverem reconhecido o que está em jogo. E, portanto, a intercessão amorosa é a fonte mais segura de força porque também é perceptível para o ser que ainda se afasta de Deus como um benefício e depois usa a força, ou seja, muda a sua vontade.... assim, através do influxo de força abandona a sua resistência e é agora mais fácil de guiar e influenciar pelos seres que a querem ajudar a ascender.... A luta por estas almas é inexprimivelmente difícil mas ainda assim não desesperada, e por isso os seres da luz não se cansam e não se deixam levar até que tenham tirado as almas das trevas para a luz eterna...._>Ámen
