Wrestling in the spiritual world.... intercession and recitation of the gospel....

It is an incomparable struggle in the spiritual world, for the number of lower spirits increases immeasurably and they constantly multiply because the people departing from earth are completely under the spell of the one who rules the kingdom of darkness. It is a seemingly overwhelming task to redeem the souls from this kingdom; it is a struggle on the part of the world of light which is only ever conducted with love and requires excessive patience and perseverance, for again and again the dark beings are active to hold back a soul wanting to escape from them, which is why the struggle takes place, as it were, between the beings of light and the forces of darkness for the souls of people who are not yet completely hopelessly enslaved by God's adversary. But the will of the souls has to be stimulated so that it demands upwards, because then the beings of light can intervene with their power, whereas before they were not allowed to use any power at all. And this effort to direct the will of the souls is incomparably difficult and often also without success. Whatever the souls are reproached with, they are unbelieving and accept nothing. And yet they must not be abandoned by the beings of light because only perseverance leads to the aim. Nor can they face the souls of darkness in all their fullness of light so as not to force the will to listen to them. They must appear in the same envelope and illuminate their hardship as if from within themselves in order to induce them to change their situation. Their love touches them charitably, but the spiritual hardship of the souls is often so great that they are dulled and no longer accessible to any instruction. They can only be won over by repeated attempts, because their hardship also becomes more unbearable the longer they resist. If the beings of light are supported by people on earth through intercession or mental attention to the gospel, the souls will be more willing to listen to them because they receive strength which weakens their will to refuse, and then the light beings' efforts will also be successful. People's thoughts on earth can work true miracles in the spiritual kingdom.... As a result the souls are moved into a certain urge to be active, they feel a strength which they now want to use, and they suddenly have the desire to improve their wretched state, they look around, as it were, for an opportunity to escape their present situation, and they will also always find helpful beings.... beings of light which, however, are not recognizable to them as such, which now assist them in word and deed. The beings of light will not tire of guiding those entrusted to them to ascent, only the first beginning is often incredibly difficult before the soul's will is willing to listen to them. For then the opposing forces ceaselessly endeavour to influence them adversarially and reject all who want to help them. A person's prayer on earth can then have an unspeakably beneficial effect, for the strength thereby imparted to the soul is always used in a positive sense. It is as if the soul then recognizes the hostility of the lower forces and the light beings' will to help, and it already turns willingly towards the latter and away from the lower forces. Help must be brought to the souls from one side if they themselves have not yet recognized what is at stake. And therefore loving intercession is the surest supply of strength because it is also perceptible to the being which is still turned away from God as a benefit and it then uses the strength, i.e. changes its will.... thus, through the influx of strength it gives up its resistance and is now easier to guide and influence by the beings which want to help it to ascend.... The struggle for these souls is unspeakably difficult but yet not hopeless, and therefore the beings of light do not tire and do not let up until they have drawn the souls out of darkness into eternal light....

영의 세계의 투쟁. 중보기도와 복음을 전하는 일.

영계에서 비교할 수 없는 싸움이 일어나고 있고, 저질의 영들의 숫자가 헤아릴 수 없을 정도로 늘어나고, 끊임없이 증가한다. 왜냐면 이 땅을 떠난 사람들이 어두움의 나라를 다스리는 자에게 완전히 매어 있기 때문이다. 어두움의 나라에서 혼을 구원하는 일은 겉으로 보기에는 수행 불가능한 과제이고, 빛의 세계의 싸움이고, 빛의 세계는 항상 단지 사랑으로 수행하고, 어두움의 존재들이 항상 그들을 피하기 원하는 혼을 붙잡기 위해 활동하기 때문에 빛의 세계에게 아주 큰 인내와 끈기가 필요하다. 그러므로 아직 완전히 절망적으로 하나님의 대적자에게 빠지지 않은 사람들의 혼을 얻기 위한 싸움이 빛의 존재와 어두움의 세력 사이에서 일어난다.

혼의 의지를 자극해서 위를 향해 갈망하게 하는 일이 중요하다. 왜냐면 그러면 빛의 존재가 자신의 힘으로 개입할 수 있는 반면에 그 전에는 빛의 존재가 어떤 힘도 사용할 수 없었기 때문이다. 혼의 의지를 올바른 방향으로 향하게 하는 노력은 비교할 수 없을 정도로 어렵고 자주 성공하지 못한다. 혼에게 무엇을 제시하든 혼은 믿지 않고 아무 것도 영접하지 않는다. 그러나 빛의 존재들이 포기해서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 단지 불굴의 인내가 목표에 이르게 하기 때문이다.

빛의 존재들은 또한 자신들에게 귀를 기울이도록 의지에 강요하지 않기 위해 자신들의 전적으로 충만한 빛을 가지고 어두운 혼과 만날 수 없다. 그들은 같은 겉형체를 입고 나타나야만 하고, 혼이 자신의 형편을 ​​바꾸도록 움직이기 위해 같은 겉형체를 입은 가운데 혼에게 위험을 밝혀줘야 한다. 그들의 사랑이 혼에게 행복한 감동을 주지만, 그러나 혼의 영적인 위험이 자주 너무 커서 혼이 무감각하고 더 이상 가르침을 받을 수 없게 된다. 그들은 단지 반복적인 시도를 통해 혼을 얻을 수 있다. 왜냐면 저항하는 시간이 길어질수록 그들의 고난이 참을 수 없게 되기 때문이다.

빛의 존재가 이제 중보 기도나 또는 생각으로 복음을 전하는 이 땅의 사람들의 지원을 받는다면, 혼은 어느정도 이를 들을 준비가 된다. 왜냐면 혼이 자신의 거부하려는 의지를 약화시키는 힘을 받기 때문이다. 그러면 빛의 존재의 노력이 성공하게 된다. 이 땅의 사람들의 생각은 영의 나라에서 진정한 기적을 일으킬 수 있다. 이로써 혼들은 어느정도 활동하려는 욕구에 빠지고, 이제 힘을 느끼고, 이 힘을 사용하기를 원하게 된다. 혼은 갑자기 자신의 비참한 상태를 개선하려는 욕구를 갖게 되고, 자신의 현재 상황에서 벗어날 기회를 찾고, 혼은 또한 항상 도움을 줄 준비가 된 존재인 빛의 존재를 찾을 것이고, 혼이 빛의 존재로 깨닫지 못하는 빛의 존재가 이제 혼에게 조언과 행동으로 혼을 지원할 것이다.

빛의 존재들은 그들에게 맡겨진 혼들을 높은 곳으로 인도하는 일에 지치지 않고, 혼의 의지가 그들의 말을 들을 준비가 되기 전에 처음으로 시작하는 일이 단지 자주 믿을 수 없을 정도로 어렵다. 왜냐면 대적자의 세력들이 끊임없이 혼에게 악한 영향을 미쳐, 혼이 자신을 돕기 원하는 존재들을 거부하게 만들려고 하기 때문이다. 이 땅의 사람의 기도가 말할 수 없는 축복이 큰 효력을 발휘할 수 있다. 왜냐면 이를 통해 혼에 부여된 힘이 항상 긍정적인 의미로 사용되기 때문이다. 이는 혼이 저질의 세력들의 적대감과 빛의 존재를 도우려는 의지를 깨닫는 일과 같고, 혼은 이미 의지적으로 빛의 존재에게 향하고, 저질의 세력들에게 돌이킨다.

혼이 이런 일이 무엇에 관한 일인지 아직 깨닫지 못했다면, 혼에게 도움을 주어야 한다. 사랑의 중보기도가 가장 안전한 힘의 공급이다. 왜냐면 중보기도는 아직 하나님을 떠난 존재가 행복으로 느낄 수 있고, 그가 이제 이 힘을 사용하기 때문이다. 즉 그의 의지를 바꾸기 때문이다. 그러므로 힘의 공급을 통해 혼이 저항을 포기하고, 이제 하나님을 떠난 혼을 높은 곳에 도달하도록 돕기 원하는 존재들이 혼을 더 쉽게 인도하고 영향을 줄 수 있게 된다. 이런 혼들을 위한 싸움은 말할 수 없을 정도로 어렵지만 그러나 절망적이지는 않다. 그러므로 빛의 존재들이 지치지 않고, 혼을 어두움에서 영원한 빛으로 이끌 때까지 싸움을 줄이지 않는다.
