Divine principle - Love.... Decision between God and the adversary....

The divine principle in you must predominate, otherwise you will not become free from the power of him who thinks and acts ungodly. But the divine principle is love.... and every unloving action, every unloving thought still characterises you as belonging to God's adversary. But then you are weak and of a dark spirit. Physical strength is no proof of spiritual strength, lively intellectual activity is no proof of an awakened spirit.... yet the goodness of the heart, an obvious activity of love in utmost unselfishness proves that the divine principle prevails in a person, and then his spirit shall also be awakened and he shall be full of light and strength.... But you humans do not strive for spiritual possessions, they are not a reality for you, for you still think too materially and you still value human intellect and physical strength too highly, which are in reality nothing and worthless for eternity. Precisely these earthly advantages could certainly help you to quickly ascend spiritually if you were to use them for what God requires of you in order to mature your soul, if you were to use your physical strength for active neighbourly love, if you were to use your ability to be intellectually active in order to progress spiritually by turning your thoughts to Him, Who created you, and seriously approach Him for clarification about the meaning and purpose of your earthly life.... The intellect was given to you so that you would acquire knowledge not only in the material but also in the spiritual field. But the latter does not appeal to you humans enough, for the one who still holds you captive tempts you with earthly-material possessions and tries to present all spiritual knowledge to you as useless, because he takes away your faith in a life after death. But if you would let the divine principle rule in you, then you would also recognise him who wants to harm you.... For love enlightens your spirit and gives you light where it was dark before.... Love must flare up in you if you want to think and act correctly.... This is why there is great earthly hardship in the world because love has grown cold, because God no longer rules in it but His adversary, who wants to incite all people against each other, who drives them to think and act without love.... But this is also why there is so much spiritual hardship among people, because their lack of love completely blinds them, because there is no longer any faith among them, which can only arise from love, and which would teach people to think and act completely differently. God or His adversary.... You humans must decide between the two.... Love or hate.... Light or darkness.... Power or powerlessness.... You must freely choose your lord.... But God is Love, and therefore you can only find God through love, you can only unite yourselves with God through love.... And if you disregard love then you grant God's adversary power over you and lose yourselves to him for eternity, who gave up the principle of love in free will, who became ungodly because he completely renounced all love, who therefore sank into deepest darkness and would also like to keep you humans in it if you don't offer him resistance.... Free yourselves from his power by letting the divine principle prevail in you, by shaping yourselves into love, which lets you become children of God and thus most blissful creatures who are eternally united with their Father....

Göttliches Prinzip - Liebe.... Entscheidung zwischen Gott und dem Gegner....

Das göttliche Prinzip in euch muß vorherrschen, ansonsten ihr nicht frei werdet aus der Gewalt dessen, der widergöttlich denkt und handelt. Das göttliche Prinzip aber ist die Liebe.... und jede lieblose Handlung, jeder lieblose Gedanke kennzeichnet euch noch als dem Gegner Gottes angehörend. Dann aber seid ihr schwach und finsteren Geistes. Die körperliche Stärke ist kein Beweis der geistigen Stärke, die rege Verstandestätigkeit kein Beweis erweckten Geistes.... doch die Güte des Herzens, ein offensichtliches Liebewirken in vollster Uneigennützigkeit beweiset, daß das göttliche Prinzip in einem Menschen vorherrschet, und dann ist auch sein Geist erweckt, und er ist voller Licht und Kraft.... Ihr Menschen aber strebet die geistigen Güter nicht an, sie sind für euch keine Realität, denn ihr denket noch zu materiell, und ihr schätzet Menschenverstand und Körperkräfte noch zu hoch ein, die aber in Wirklichkeit nichts sind und wertlos sind für die Ewigkeit. Wohl könnten euch gerade diese irdischen Vorzüge verhelfen zu schnellem geistigen Aufstieg, so ihr sie nützen würdet dazu, was Gott von euch verlangt zum Ausreifen der Seele, so ihr eure Körperkräfte anwenden würdet zu tätiger Nächstenliebe, so ihr die Fähigkeit, verstandesmäßig tätig sein zu können, nützen würdet, um geistig vorwärtszuschreiten, indem ihr eure Gedanken hinwendet zu Ihm, Der euch erschaffen hat, und Ihn ernstlich um Aufklärung über Sinn und Zweck eures Erdenlebens angehen würdet.... Der Verstand ist euch gegeben worden, daß ihr euch Kenntnisse erwerbet und nicht nur auf materiellem, sondern auch auf geistigem Gebiet. Euch Menschen aber reizt das letztere zu wenig, denn der, der euch noch gefesselt hält, lockt euch mit irdisch-materiellen Gütern, und er sucht euch alles geistige Wissen als nutzlos hinzustellen, weil er euch den Glauben nimmt an ein Fortleben nach dem Tode. Würdet ihr aber das göttliche Prinzip in euch herrschen lassen, dann würdet ihr auch ihn erkennen, der euch schaden will.... Denn die Liebe erhellet euren Geist und gibt euch ein Licht, wo es dunkel war zuvor.... Die Liebe muß in euch aufflammen, wollet ihr recht denken und handeln.... Darum ist in der Welt große irdische Not, weil die Liebe erkaltet ist, weil nicht mehr Gott in ihr herrschet, sondern Sein Gegner, der alle Menschen widereinander hetzen will, der sie antreibt in lieblosem Denken und Handeln.... Darum ist aber auch so große geistige Not unter den Menschen, weil die Lieblosigkeit sie völlig erblinden lässet, weil kein Glauben mehr unter ihnen ist, der nur aus der Liebe erstehen kann und der die Menschen völlig anders denken und handeln lehren würde. Gott oder Sein Gegner.... Zwischen beiden müsset ihr Menschen euch entscheiden.... Liebe oder Haß.... Licht oder Finsternis.... Kraft oder Kraftlosigkeit.... frei aus euch heraus müsset ihr wählen euren Herrn.... Gott aber ist die Liebe, und also könnet ihr Gott nur finden durch die Liebe, ihr könnet euch nur vereinen mit Gott durch die Liebe.... Und lasset ihr die Liebe außer acht, so räumet ihr dem Gegner Gottes Macht ein über euch und verlieret euch in ewige Zeiten an ihn, der im freien Willen das Liebeprinzip aufgab, der ungöttlich wurde, weil er sich völlig jeder Liebe begab, der darum sank in die tiefste Finsternis und auch euch Menschen darin behalten möchte, so ihr ihm keinen Widerstand bietet.... Machet euch frei aus seiner Gewalt, indem ihr das göttliche Prinzip in euch vorherrschen lasset, indem ihr euch zur Liebe gestaltet, die euch zu Kindern Gottes und also zu seligsten Geschöpfen werden lässet, die mit ihrem Vater auf ewig vereinigt sind....
