Forms of spiritual work.... healing.... speaking in tongues....

My spirit's working is based on love for Me and the neighbour, thus the person who lives a life of love, who helpfully supports his neighbour in spiritual as well as in earthly adversity and who is devoted to Me in profound love and humility so that he will always endeavour to fulfil My will, will always be filled by My spirit. Thus My spirit can become effective in him.... And it now expresses itself in many ways.... Many gifts of the spirit can be bestowed upon a person, yet rarely will all of them be recognizable in one person, for every individual person's maturity of soul and spiritual abilities are different, and thus My spirit will be particularly prominent where certain prerequisites are present for the gifts of the spirit to come into their own, so that fellow human beings will recognize how the spirit of God can work in a person.... Where there is true love, faith will also be powerful.... But a powerful, living faith is able to do everything, and then My spirit will work in such a way that the strength of faith will become evident.... Then the human being can heal the sick, remedy states of weakness, cast out devils and thus achieve unusual successes which affect physical ailments. Then My spirit is obviously active and bears witness to My love and strength....

Others again, who stand in love, fatefully have the opportunity to work enlighteningly amongst humanity.... Then the working of My spirit is recognizable in a different way, then knowledge is made accessible to the human being through My spirit which enables him to teach. Then the human being will be instructed by My spirit, his thinking will be ordered, his feeling will be refined, his spiritual ear will be trained so that it can hear the voice of the spirit which conveys everything to him which is to be said through him to his fellow human beings. Thus the human being can then preach in the spirit of God.... My spirit is effective as soon as the human being wants to work for Me and My kingdom out of love for Me and for his fellow human beings....

Another gift of the spirit is the gift of prophecy, the seeing into the future and proclaiming it in order to warn and admonish fellow human beings to prepare themselves spiritually for a sudden end, for events which have a spiritual reason and purpose. This proclamation of coming events is also work for Me and My kingdom and therefore the gift of sight is to be addressed as spiritual work, because only spiritual successes are to be achieved through it and humanity shall never be surprised by a judgment without being warned but, if it believes, can draw spiritual benefit from such prophecies. Only a person filled by My spirit will draw fellow human beings' attention to coming judgments and admonish them to a way of life which is pleasing to Me, for he knows about the spiritual adversity and his love impels him into redeeming activity....

Another form of My working of the spirit is the gift of speaking to people in all languages they understand.... Whatever language the human being speaks, he hears his mother tongue from the one who speaks to him impelled by the spirit, he understands every word, he is addressed by My spirit which expresses itself in the speaker. But My spirit only works in this way when it is necessary, i.e. when people of all nationalities are gathered in desire to hear My word and a person filled by My spirit speaks to them in the urge of love to help them, to speak of My love, might and wisdom, thus to make them acquainted with Me and to preach the gospel to them. Then he will be able to speak in his usual language and yet be understood by all who hear it in their mother tongue.... Then My working of the spirit will be so obvious that it can no longer be doubted, yet every weak believer will assume that it was spoken in his own language, and therefore this working of the spirit is not a compulsion of faith for the weak believer, yet it is such obvious evidence for the awakened person which, however, also requires the strongest faith and the most unselfish love in order to be given to people by Me. My spirit works where it wants and how it wants.... But enlightened thinking, recognition of truth and spiritual striving is always a sure sign that My spirit is permitted to work on the part of the human being, who thus opens himself to its working through a life of love and then also safely reaches his aim on earth.... the union with Me, the eternal father-spirit....

영의 역사의 형식. 치유. 방언 말하기.

나를 사랑하고 이웃을 사랑하는 일은 내 영이 역사하기 때문이다. 그러므로 사랑의 삶을 살고, 영적으로 세상적으로 위험에 빠진 이웃에게 많은 도움을 주며, 나를 향한 깊은 사랑과 겸손으로 나에게 순종함으로 항상 내 뜻을 성취시키려고 노력하는 사람은 내 영으로 충만하게 될 것이다. 즉 내 영이 이런 사람 안에서 역사할 수 있고, 내 영은 이제 여러가지 방식으로 역사한다. 많은 영의 은사가 사람들에게 주어질 수 있다. 그러나 모든 은사가 한 사람에게 나타나는 일은 단지 희귀하다. 왜냐면 각 사람마다 혼의 성장정도와 영의 능력이 다르기 때문이다. 그러므로 내 영이 영의 은사를 받을 만하게 하는 조건을 어느 정도 갖춘 사람에게 특별하게 나타나고 이로써 이웃이 이런 사람을 통해 하나님의 영이 사람 안에서 어떻게 역사할 수 있는지를 깨닫는다.

올바른 사랑이 있는 곳에 믿음이 강하게 나타나고, 강하고 생명력이 있는 믿음은 모든 일을 할 수 있고, 내 영이 역사하여, 믿음의 능력이 볼 수 있게 나타난다. 그러면 사람이 병든 사람을 고치고 연약한 상태를 해결해주며 마귀를 쫓아내는 등 육체의 고통과 관련된 특이한 형통한 일들이 일어난다. 이 일이 바로 내 영이 드러나게 역사하는 일이고, 내 사랑과 능력을 증명한다.

사랑으로 사는 사람은 인류를 깨우쳐줄 기회를 운명적으로 받는다. 그러면 내 영의 역사가 또 다른 방식으로 깨달을 수 있고 사람이 내 영을 통해 가르침을 받는다. 그의 생각은 정리되고, 그의 느낌은 세심해지고, 그의 영적인 귀는 훈련이 되어 영의 음성을 들을 수 있게 된다. 영의 음성은 그가 이웃에게 가르쳐야 할 모든 것을 알려준다. 그러므로 그가 하나님의 영으로 설교할 수 있고, 그가 나와 이웃에 대한 사랑으로 나와 내 나라를 위해 일하려고 하면, 내 영이 역사한다.

다른 은사는 예언의 은사로서 미래의 일을 보고, 이웃에게 미래의 일을 경고하고, 그들 각자가 갑작스럽게 다가오고 영적인 이유와 영적인 목적이 있어서 일어나는 종말을 영적으로 대비하라고 권면하는 은사이다. 그러므로 다가오는 일을 예고하는 일 알리는 일도 나와 내 나라를 위한 일이고 그러므로 미리 보는 은사를 영의 역사로 여길 수 있다. 왜냐면 이 은사를 통해 단지 영적인 성공을 이뤄야 하고, 사람들이 전혀 경고받지 못하고 놀라는 가운데 심판을 받지 않게 해야 하기 때문이고, 사람이 믿는다면, 그가 이런 계시를 혼에게 도움이 되게 활용할 수 있기 때문이다. 내 영으로 충만한 사람이 단지 사람들이 다가오는 심판에 대해 관심을 갖게 하고, 그들의 삶을 나를 기쁘게 하는 삶으로 바꾸도록 경고할 수 있다. 왜냐면 그는 영적인 위험을 알고, 그의 사랑이 그가 구원역사에 동참하도록 이끌기 때문이다.

다른 내 영의 역사는 사람들에게 각자가 이해할 수 있는 언어로 말할 수 있는 역사이다. 영의 인도를 받아 말하는 사람이 어떤 언어를 이야기하든지 간에 듣는 사람이 자기 모국어로 듣고, 모든 말을 이해하고, 이 말을 통해 나타나는 내 영에 감동을 받는다. 내 영은 꼭 필요한 곳에서 단지 이런 방식으로 역사한다. 다시 말해 여러 나라의 사람들이 말씀을 듣기 위해 모인 곳에서, 내 영으로 충만한 사람이 사랑이 동인이 되어, 이들을 돕기 위해 내 사랑과 힘과 지혜에 대해 말하면서, 나와 함께 이를 알리고, 그들에게 복음을 설교하는 때에 역사한다.

그러면 그는 자신의 언어로 설교하지만, 듣는 사람은 각자 자신의 모국어로 듣고 모든 것을 이해할 수 있게 된다. 이런 내 영의 역사는 공개적으로 나타나 더 이상 의심할 수 없다. 그러나 모든 믿음이 연약한 사람은 자신의 언어로 설교한 것으로 영접한다. 그러므로 이 영의 역사는 믿음이 연약한 사람에게도 믿음의 강요가 되지 않는다. 그러나 영이 깨어난 사람에게 아주 분명한 증거이다. 나로부터 이런 능력을 받기 위해 아주 최고로 강한 믿음과 전혀 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑이 있어야만 한다. 내 영은 내 영이 역사하기 원하는 곳에서, 내 영이 원하는 방식으로 역사한다. 그러나 항상 깨어난 생각과 진리를 깨닫는 일과 영을 추구하는 일은 사람이 내 영이 역사할 수 있도록 허용했다는 확실한 증거들이다. 사랑의 삶을 통해 영의 역사에 자신을 여는 이런 사람은 이제 이 땅에서 자신의 목표인 영원한 아버지의 영인 나와 하나가 되는 일을 확실하게 이룬다.
