No one can serve two masters....

He who can give up everything will also gain everything. You cannot serve two masters, the world and Me at the same time, but you must give up one if you want to win the other. Thus you must sacrifice the world if you want to gain Me, but then you will receive more than the earthly world, for the kingdom, which is My share, is incomparably more beautiful than the world you gave up for My sake. But if you want to possess the world then you cannot possess Me at the same time, for I am not to be found there, and those who seek Me must do so outside the earthly world. You will truly not lose much if you give up the world for My sake, for I will compensate you for the loss a thousand fold and you will never regret it once you have gained Me. My kingdom is not of this world, therefore you should not attach your heart to that which is worthless, and you must make an effort to be accepted into that land and learn to despise the earthly world. You must free yourselves from all earthly possessions, from all desire for them, and only strive for that which is eternal, which belongs to Me and therefore must be extremely valuable. Leave behind what belongs to earth and strive towards My kingdom.... turn your eyes heavenwards and you will see more than earth can ever offer you. Learn to overcome the world if you want to possess Me, and decide what is of greater value to you.... but decide for what is right, for it concerns your fate after death, it concerns eternal life....

Ninguém pode servir dois mestres....

Aquele que pode desistir de tudo, também ganhará tudo. Não se pode servir dois senhores, o mundo e Eu ao mesmo tempo, mas é preciso desistir de um se se quiser ganhar o outro. Assim, tendes de sacrificar o mundo se Me quiserdes ganhar, mas então recebereis mais do que o mundo terreno, pois o reino, que é a Minha parte, é incomparavelmente mais belo do que o mundo de que abdicastes por Minha causa. Mas se quiserem possuir o mundo, então não podem possuir-Me ao mesmo tempo, pois Eu não sou encontrado lá, e aqueles que Me procuram devem fazê-lo fora do mundo terreno. Não perderás realmente muito se desistires do mundo por Minha causa, pois eu compensar-te-ei pela perda mil vezes e nunca te arrependerás uma vez que Me tenhas ganho. O meu reino não é deste mundo, por isso não deves ligar o teu coração ao que não vale nada, e deves fazer um esforço para seres aceite naquela terra e aprender a desprezar o mundo terreno. Tendes de vos libertar de todos os bens terrenos, de todos os desejos por eles, e apenas lutar por aquilo que é eterno, que me pertence e que, portanto, deve ser extremamente valioso. Deixa para trás o que pertence à terra e esforça-te por alcançar o Meu reino.... vira os teus olhos para o céu e verás mais do que a terra alguma vez te poderá oferecer. Aprende a vencer o mundo se me quiseres possuir, e decide o que é de maior valor para ti.... mas decide pelo que é certo, pois diz respeito ao teu destino após a morte, diz respeito à vida eterna....._>Ámen
