Suitability for spiritual work - dedication of the world....

Those who feel called to work for Me by hearing My spirit's utterance as a spoken or mentally conveyed word must continue to be eagerly active and not lose themselves to the world. Nevertheless, the world is still their environment, i.e., as long as they stay on earth the world also approaches them with its demands. But it can be overcome if the heart frees itself from desires and wishes of any kind. The love that develops in every human being can be directed rightly or wrongly. If it belongs to the world then it is a wrong love which has to be fought against if the human being wants to be in contact with Me and thus active for Me. Thus the love directed towards Me is the right one, and this love must fill a person who wants to work as My servant for Me and My kingdom. There must only be room for Me in his heart, thus no concession can be made to the world, and that is what is difficult for the human being and why only rarely is someone suitable for spiritual work, for a service which requires unconditional devotion from the world. Therefore I have to choose My workers for Myself, I have to train their ability to tear the love for the world out of their heart, however, not compulsorily, but I have to try to change his will so that he surrenders to Me and is no longer turned towards the world. And thus the world's goods must be presented to him as worthless and impermanent, which is only possible if they leave him unsatisfied so that he no longer desires them. If a person has a very worldly attitude he lacks spiritual contact with Me, and then he will also never be able to accomplish spiritual work. But it often takes a long time before a person has recognized the worthlessness of the world, and therefore workers will rarely be found who offer their services to Me of their own free will. For the world approaches people again and again and seeks to capture their thoughts. And it will always mean a battle which, however, has to be carried out for the sake of the soul's salvation, and this battle always has to end with the defeat of My adversary who is the prince of this world and against whom this battle is therefore waged. No matter in which form this battle takes place, the success will always be a spiritual maturing, but the cause is worldly desires and their fulfilment. Therefore, consider every disappointment, every failure, every suffering through material losses as a means to overcome desires and cravings, and surrender to it without complaint, for it helps you to overcome everything that hinders you from being a good and eager servant in My vineyard.... it helps you to free your heart and prepare it to receive Me, Who truly offers you something that surpasses worldly pleasures. Give up the world and exchange Me for it, and you will gain the most delicious if I Myself am within you and bestow spiritual wealth upon you, which is truly refreshment for your soul and cannot be compared to what the world offers you. Serve Me diligently and make yourselves worthy of the privilege of having been accepted as labourers for My kingdom.... Use your service diligently, so that one day you will be rewarded as faithful servants and be blessed....

영적인 일을 위해 합당하게 되는 일. 세상을 버리는 일.

들리는 음성이나 생각으로 전해진 말씀으로 내 영이 말한 것을 받으면서 나를 위해 일하는 부름을 받는 것으로 느끼는 사람들은 즉시로 열심히 일해야 하고, 자신을 세상에 빠지게 해서는 안 된다. 그럴지라도 아직 세상이 그들의 환경이다. 다시 말해 그들이 이 땅에서 사는 동안에는 세상이 세상의 요구를 가지고 그들에게 다가온다. 그러나 만약에 심장이 모든 종류의 소원과 갈망으로부터 자유롭게 되면, 세상을 극복할 수 있다.

모든 사람 안에 확산되는 사랑은 올바른 방향이나 또는 잘못된 방향으로 향할 수 있다. 사랑이 이제 세상을 향하면, 이 사랑은 잘못된 방향을 잡은 사랑이다. 사람이 나와 접촉하기를 원하면, 다시 말해 나를 위해 일하기 원하면, 그는 세상으로 향한 사랑에 대항해서 싸워야만 한다. 나에게 향한 사랑이 올바른 사랑이고, 나와 나의 나라를 위해 나의 일꾼으로써 일하기 원하는 사람 안에 이 사랑이 충만해야만 한다. 그의 심장 안은 단지 나를 위해 제공돼야만 한다. 즉 세상이 심장을 차지할 수 없게 돼야 한다. 바로 이런 일이 사람들에게 어려운 일이다. 그러므로 영적인 일을 위해, 조건이 없이 세상을 희생해야 하는 선행 조건을 요구하는 섬기는 일에 합당한 사람들이 단지 희귀하다.

그러므로 나는 나의 일꾼을 택해야만 하고, 세상을 향한 사랑이 그들의 심장을 떠나게 할 능력을 그들이 갖도록 양육해야만 한다. 그러나 나는 강요하지 않고 그의 의지를 바꾸려고 시도해야만 한다. 그래서 그가 나에게 순복하고, 그가 더 이상 세상을 향하지 않게 해야 한다. 그러므로 그에게 세상의 물질을 가치가 없고 지속적이지 않은 것으로 설명해줘야 한다. 이런 일은 단지 그가 재물을 더 이상 갈망하지 않게 하는 일을 통해 재물이 그를 만족시키지 못하게 하는 일로 가능하다. 만약에 이제 사람이 아주 세상적이면, 그는 나와 영적인 접촉을 하지 않고, 이로써 그는 절대로 영적인 일을 행할 수 없다.

이런 사람들이 세상의 무가치함을 깨닫기까지 자주 오랜 기간이 걸린다. 그러므로 자유의지로 나를 섬기려는 일꾼을 희귀하게 찾아볼 수 있다. 왜냐면 세상이 항상 그리고 항상 또 다시 사람들에게 다가가, 그들의 생각을 점유하려고 시도하기 때문이다. 이는 항상 싸움을 의미할 것이다. 그러나 혼의 구원을 위해 싸움을 싸워야만 한다. 이 싸움은 항상 이 세상의 권세자인 나의 대적자에게 대항하는 싸움이고, 나의 대적자의 패배로 끝날 것이다.

이 싸움이 어떤 형태로 일어나든지 간에 승리는 항상 영적인 성장을 이루게 할 것이다. 그러나 이 싸움의 원인은 세상을 향한 소원과 이 소원을 성취시키려고 하는 데에 있다. 그러므로 물질을 잃는 일로 인한 모든 실망과 모든 실패와 모든 고통은 소원과 욕망을 극복하는 수단이다. 너희는 불평하지 않고 이에 순복하라. 왜냐면 이런 일이 너희가 나의 포도원의 좋고, 열심 있는 일꾼이 되는데 방해가 되는 모든 것을 극복하도록 돕기 때문이다. 이런 일이 너희를 도와 너희가 너희 심장을 자유롭게 하고, 진실로 너희에게 세상의 기쁨을 능가하는 것을 제공하는 나를 영접할 수 있도록 준비하게 만들어 줄 것이기 때문이다.

세상을 포기하고, 세상 대신에 나로 바꿔라. 그러면 너희는 가장 귀한 것을 얻을 것이다. 왜냐면 나 자신이 너희 안에 거하고, 너희에게 영적인 부를 주기 때문이다. 이런 영적인 부유함은 너희의 혼을 진실로 생기 있게 하고, 쾌활하게 한다. 이런 영적인 부유함은 세상이 제공하는 것과 비교할 수 없는 것이다. 나를 열심히 섬기라. 너희 자신을 나의 나라의 일꾼으로 영접을 받은 특권에 합당하게 만들라. 너희가 섬기는 일을 양심적으로 행하라. 이로써 언젠가 너희가 나의 신실한 일꾼으로서 상급을 받고, 축복을 받을 수 있게 하라.
