Suitability for spiritual work - dedication of the world....

Those who feel called to work for Me by hearing My spirit's utterance as a spoken or mentally conveyed word must continue to be eagerly active and not lose themselves to the world. Nevertheless, the world is still their environment, i.e., as long as they stay on earth the world also approaches them with its demands. But it can be overcome if the heart frees itself from desires and wishes of any kind. The love that develops in every human being can be directed rightly or wrongly. If it belongs to the world then it is a wrong love which has to be fought against if the human being wants to be in contact with Me and thus active for Me. Thus the love directed towards Me is the right one, and this love must fill a person who wants to work as My servant for Me and My kingdom. There must only be room for Me in his heart, thus no concession can be made to the world, and that is what is difficult for the human being and why only rarely is someone suitable for spiritual work, for a service which requires unconditional devotion from the world. Therefore I have to choose My workers for Myself, I have to train their ability to tear the love for the world out of their heart, however, not compulsorily, but I have to try to change his will so that he surrenders to Me and is no longer turned towards the world. And thus the world's goods must be presented to him as worthless and impermanent, which is only possible if they leave him unsatisfied so that he no longer desires them. If a person has a very worldly attitude he lacks spiritual contact with Me, and then he will also never be able to accomplish spiritual work. But it often takes a long time before a person has recognized the worthlessness of the world, and therefore workers will rarely be found who offer their services to Me of their own free will. For the world approaches people again and again and seeks to capture their thoughts. And it will always mean a battle which, however, has to be carried out for the sake of the soul's salvation, and this battle always has to end with the defeat of My adversary who is the prince of this world and against whom this battle is therefore waged. No matter in which form this battle takes place, the success will always be a spiritual maturing, but the cause is worldly desires and their fulfilment. Therefore, consider every disappointment, every failure, every suffering through material losses as a means to overcome desires and cravings, and surrender to it without complaint, for it helps you to overcome everything that hinders you from being a good and eager servant in My vineyard.... it helps you to free your heart and prepare it to receive Me, Who truly offers you something that surpasses worldly pleasures. Give up the world and exchange Me for it, and you will gain the most delicious if I Myself am within you and bestow spiritual wealth upon you, which is truly refreshment for your soul and cannot be compared to what the world offers you. Serve Me diligently and make yourselves worthy of the privilege of having been accepted as labourers for My kingdom.... Use your service diligently, so that one day you will be rewarded as faithful servants and be blessed....

Tauglichkeit für geistige Arbeit - Hingabe der Welt....

Die sich berufen fühlen, für Mich zu wirken, indem sie Meines Geistes Äußerung vernehmen als gesprochenes oder gedanklich vermitteltes Wort, müssen gleichfort eifrig tätig sein und dürfen sich nicht an die Welt verlieren. Dennoch ist die Welt noch ihre Umgebung, d.h., solange sie auf Erden weilen, tritt auch die Welt mit ihren Anforderungen an sie heran. Sie kann aber überwunden werden, wenn das Herz sich frei macht von Verlangen und Wünschen jeglicher Art. Die Liebe, die in jedem Menschen zur Entfaltung kommt, kann recht oder falsch gerichtet sein. Gehört sie nun der Welt an, dann ist es eine verkehrte Liebe, die bekämpft werden muß, will der Mensch mit Mir in Kontakt stehen und also für Mich tätig sein. Die zu Mir gerichtete Liebe also ist die rechte, und diese Liebe muß einen Menschen erfüllen, der als Mein Diener arbeiten will für Mich und Mein Reich. In seinem Herzen muß nur Raum sein für Mich, also kann der Welt keine Konzession gemacht werden, und das ist es, was dem Menschen schwerfällt und weshalb nur selten jemand tauglich ist für die geistige Arbeit, für einen Dienst, der bedingungslose Hingabe der Welt voraussetzt. Ich muß daher Mir Meine Arbeiter erwählen, Ich muß ihre Fähigkeit ausbilden, ihnen die Liebe zur Welt aus dem Herzen reißen, jedoch nicht zwangsmäßig, sondern Ich muß seinen Willen zu wandeln suchen, daß er sich Mir ergibt und der Welt nicht mehr zugewandt ist. Und also müssen ihm die Güter der Welt als wertlos und unbeständig dargestellt werden, was nur möglich ist, so sie ihn unbefriedigt lassen, auf daß er sie nicht mehr begehrt. Ist nun ein Mensch sehr weltlich eingestellt, so fehlt ihm der geistige Kontakt mit Mir, und dann wird er auch nimmermehr eine geistige Arbeit zu leisten imstande sein. Es vergeht aber oft lange Zeit, ehe ein Mensch die Wertlosigkeit der Welt erkannt hat, und darum werden sich auch selten Arbeiter finden, die Mir ihre Dienste antragen im freien Willen. Denn die Welt tritt immer und immer wieder an die Menschen heran und sucht ihre Gedanken gefangenzunehmen. Und es wird immer einen Kampf bedeuten, der aber um des Seelenheiles willen ausgeführt werden muß, und es muß dieser Kampf immer mit der Niederlage des Gegners von Mir enden, der der Fürst dieser Welt ist und gegen den also dieser Kampf geführt wird. In welcher Form dieser Kampf auch sich abspielt, der Erfolg wird stets ein geistiges Ausreifen sein, der Anlaß aber sind weltliche Wünsche und deren Erfüllung. Darum betrachtet jede Enttäuschung, jeden Fehlschlag, jegliches Leid durch materielle Verluste als ein Mittel, Wünsche und Begierden zu überwinden, und ergebt euch klaglos darein, denn es hilft euch zur Überwindung alles dessen, was hinderlich ist, um ein guter und eifriger Knecht zu sein in Meinem Weinberg.... es hilft euch, euer Herz frei zu machen und zur Aufnahme für Mich herzurichten, Der Ich euch wahrlich etwas biete, was weltliche Freuden übertrifft. Gebet die Welt auf, und tauschet Mich dafür ein, und ihr gewinnet das Köstlichste, so Ich Selbst in euch bin und euch geistigen Reichtum austeile, der für eure Seele wahrhaft Labsal und Erquickung ist und nicht zu vergleichen mit dem, was euch die Welt bietet. Dienet Mir eifrig, und machet euch der Bevorzugung würdig, als Arbeiter für Mein Reich angenommen worden zu sein.... Versehet euren Dienst gewissenhaft, auf daß ihr dereinst belohnet werdet als treue Knechte und selig seid....
