Wooing for the love of God....

Anyone who wants to win God's affection must court His love, thus do everything that is pleasing to Him. He must deeply unite with Him, long for the closest union with Him and only ever listen to the expression of His will which is, as it were, placed in his heart. To be loved by God is a state of bliss that is incomparable and is also only consciously felt by a few people. God's love is indeed meant for all His creations but its strength will be differently effective depending on the relationship between the creature and the creator. And therefore the human being himself must shape the relationship such that he is able to feel the strength of divine love. God is always ready for love, and the human being should make use of this and acquire His love through heartfelt devotion and acceptance of God's will. He should let himself be drawn by Him, he should give up all resistance, he should open himself to God's emanation of love in order to then be able to receive what will make him unspeakably happy. And all this requires complete surrender of the world with all its joys and goods.... furthermore, it necessitates the surrender of everything of earthly value to the human being, the sacrifice of all pleasing things in order to exchange them for God's love, which alone wants to fill the human being's heart. What you love on earth you must give away if you want to receive Him into your heart and enjoy His presence. And if you are able to sacrifice, God will reward you for your love.... And if you separate yourselves from covetous possessions for His sake, His eye will rest upon you with pleasure and you will feel His strength of love. And you will not regret it, for what you give you will receive back a thousand times over. God's love is a most delicious gift which allows nothing else to arise beside it, and it is up to you to receive this delicious gift when nothing else seems desirable to you and you only strive to be blissfully happy in union with God. Then your heart will be shaped to receive Him Who can already give you the highest happiness on earth and one day in eternity.... Then His love will belong to you, which you will feel in its strength....

Tendere all’Amore di Dio

Chi vuole conquistare per sé l’Affetto di Dio, deve amoreggiare per il Suo Amore, quindi fare tutto ciò che Gli compiace. Si deve profondissimamente unire con Lui, bramare la più stretta unificazione con Lui ed ascoltare sempre soltanto la Manifestazione della Sua Volontà che gli viene in certo qual modo messo nel cuore. Essere amato da Dio è uno stato di Beatitudine che è incomparabile e viene anche sentito coscientemente solo da pochi uomini. L’Amore di Dio è bensì per tutte le Sue creature, ma sarà efficace diversamente nella sua Forza, secondo il rapporto nel quale si trova la creatura verso il Creatore. E perciò l’uomo stesso deve formare il rapporto in modo che sia in grado di sentire la Forza dell’Amore divino. Dio E’ sempre pronto ad amare e l’uomo ne deve approfittare e conquistarsi il Suo Amore attraverso la più intima dedizione ed entrando nella Volontà di Dio. Si deve far tirare da Lui, deve rinunciare a qualsiasi resistenza, si deve aprire all’Irradiazione dell’Amore di Dio, per poter ora ricevere ciò che lo renderà infinitamente felice. E tutto questo richiede una totale rinuncia al mondo con tutte le sue gioie e beni, richiede inoltre la rinuncia di tutto ciò che è di valore per l’uomo in bene terreno, di sacrificare tutte le cose che lo rallegrano, per scambiare questo contro l’Amore di Dio che vuole colmare soltanto il cuore dell’uomo. Quello che voi amate sulla Terra, lo dovete dare, se volete accogliere Lui nel vostro cuore e godere della Sua Presenza. E se potete sacrificare, Dio ricompenserà il vostro amore. E se vi separate dai beni da voi desiderabili per amor Suo, il Suo Occhio riposerà compiacente su di voi e vi renderete percettibilmente conto della Sua Forza d’Amore. E non vi pentirete di ciò che avete dato, ne riceverete migliaia di volte indietro. L’Amore di Dio è un Regalo oltremodo delizioso, che non fa sorgere null’altro accanto a Sé, e voi stessi lo avete nella mano di ricevere questo Regalo delizioso, se non vi sembra più altro desiderabile ed aspirate solo ancora ad essere beati nell’unificazione con Dio. Allora il vostro cuore è formato per l’accoglienza di Colui, il Quale vi può preparare la più alta felicità già sulla Terra ed una volta nell’Eternità. Allora vi appartiene il Suo Amore che sentirete nella sua Forza.
