Thought material.... emanations of spiritual beings.... will-o'-the-wisp....

How you utilize the thoughts you receive is decisive for your development. Light and dark beings try to influence you mentally, forces which are full of truthful knowledge and those which oppose everything that is truth, partly out of their own ignorance, but partly also out of evil motives, in order to destroy everything that signifies light and strength. These beings now fight for the possession of your will, they seek to transfer their thoughts to you; these play around you like waves, and your will now accepts them or rejects them, i.e., the heart takes them up and forwards them to the brain where they are processed, thus they are called to the human being's memory if he wants to utilize them.... or he rejects them by not first feeding them to the brain for processing, thus he drops them. The thought only becomes conscious when the intellect deals with it; yet the human being himself is not the originator of the thought but it is emanations from the spiritual kingdom which can touch the human being as rays of light or also as a deceptive light which then accompanies him as a shadow, that he thus walks in darkness. But the human being does not feel darkness because, as long as he does not walk in the light, he turns to will-o'-the-wisps, thus he believes to be in the light which, however, spreads no light, radiates no warmth, which illuminates nothing but is only a blinding light. If the thought material is now to be utilized, then it turns out what effect it has, for the right light, the true thoughts, will ignite and let a little light flare up again everywhere, whereas a dazzling light has no strength to give off a glow but is well accepted by people who walk in darkness because they don't know the bright, radiant light of truth and have not yet felt its effect on themselves. And the thought material can now be worked with, whether it flows from the knowing spiritual world or from the forces of darkness, only it will have a different effect on the distributing and the receiving person. Whoever passes on true thought material will always receive more and more, whether he also constantly gives it away. And his soul will develop upwards, it will stand in ever brighter light, recognize everything and understand everything.... for light has an exceedingly beneficial effect. But anyone who passes on erroneous thought material will still walk in darkness and feel that he is not bringing any light into this darkness, only believing to be temporarily in the light through the flashing of will-o'-the-wisps, only to fall into even deeper darkness afterwards. He will remain without understanding despite the supply of thought material, the darkness around him will not recede until he is touched by the rays of a right light, until he accepts the mental inspirations from the kingdom of light, thus surrenders himself to the influence of knowing beings which alone can impart light and truth to him....

생각의 내용. 영의 존재가 주는 빛. 거짓된 빛.

너희에게 주어진 생각의 내용을 너희가 어떻게 활용하는 지가 너희 성장에 결정적이다. 빛의 존재와 어두움의 존재는 생각을 통해 너희에게 영향을 미치려고 시도한다. 이런 세력들은 전적으로 진리에 합당한 지식을 가진 세력들이고, 부분적으로는 자신의 무지로 인해, 부분적으로는 빛과 힘을 의미하는 모든 것을 파괴하려는 악한 동기에서 진리인 모든 것에 반대하는 세력들이다. 이런 존재들은 이제 너희의 의지를 얻기 위해 싸우고, 자신들의 생각을 너희에게 전가시키려고 시도한다. 이런 세력들은 파도처럼 너희 주위에서 맴돌며, 너희 의지가 이제 세력들의 생각을 받아드리거나 거부한다. 다시 말해 심장이 그런 생각을 붙잡아 이 생각을 다루는 뇌로 전달한다. 이로써 사람이 이런 생각을 활용하기 원하면, 기억해낼 수 있게 된다. 또는 그가 생각을 처리하도록 뇌에 보내지 않으면서 생각을 거부한다. 즉 생각을 버린다.

이성이 이 생각을 다룰 때, 사람이 이 생각을 의식한다. 그러나 인간 자신이 생각의 창시자는 아니고, 빛의 광선으로 인간에게 도달할 수 있는 영의 나라로부터 온 발산이거나 또한 그림자로 동반한 빛이고 이로써 그가 어두움 속에서 살게 하는 기만적인 빛이다. 그러나 사람은 어두움을 느끼지 못한다. 왜냐면 그가 빛 안에서 살지 않는 동안에는, 잘못된 빛으로 향하기 때문이다. 즉 자신이 빛 안에 있다고 믿기 때문이다. 그러나 이 빛은 광채를 발산하지 않고, 온기를 발산하지 않고, 어떤 빛도 비추지 않고 단지 역광이다.

생각이 이제 활용되면, 그 생각이 어떤 영향을 미치는 지가 밝혀진다. 왜냐면 올바른 빛은, 진실된 생각은 모든 곳에서 불을 붙일 것이고 모든 곳에서 작은 빛이 다시 타오르게 할 것이고, 반면에 역광은 빛을 발할 힘이 없기 때문이다. 그러나 어두움 속에서 사는 사람들은 실제 역광을 영접할 것이다. 왜냐면 그들은 밝게 빛나는 진리의 빛을 모르고, 아직 그들 자신에게 이런 빛이 주는 영향을 느끼지 못했기 때문이다. 알고 있는 영의 세계에서 나온 생각의 내용이든 어두움의 세력들로부터 나온 생각의 내용이든, 이제 이 생각의 내용을 처리하고, 단지 분배하는 사람과 받는 사람에게서 서로 다른 효과가 나타나게 될 것이다.

진리에 합당한 생각의 내용을 전하는 사람은 비록 그가 항상 자신의 것을 줄지라도, 그는 항상 더 많이 받게 될 것이다. 그의 혼은 위로 성장할 것이고, 더 밝은 빛 속에 서게 될 것이고, 모든 것을 깨닫고 모든 것을 이해하게 될 것이다. 왜냐면 빛은 아주 행복하게 하는 역사를 일으키기 때문이다. 그러나 누구든지 잘못된 생각을 전하는 사람은 아직 어두움 속에서 살고, 자신이 이런 어두움 속에 어떤 빛도 느끼지 못하게 될 것이고, 그는 단지 일시적으로 깜박거리는 거짓된 빛으로 빛 안에 있다고 믿게 될 것이고, 나중에는 더 깊은 어두움 속으로 빠지게 될 것이다. 그에게 생각의 내용을 전해줌에도 불구하고 그는 이해하지 못하는 가운데 머물고, 그가 올바른 빛의 광선을 받을 때까지 즉 그가 생각을 통해 빛의 영역에서 주는, 유일하게 아는 존재가 전해줄 수 있는 내용을 받아드릴 때까지 그의 주변의 어두움이 사라지지 않을 것이다.
