The earthly kingdom and its rulers.... earthly fulfilment of duty - spiritual work....

If you are devoted to the world, then you are also devoted to the one who rules the world insofar as he makes people slaves to their instincts, which are only directed towards worldly pleasures and material goods. And then you can only with difficulty free yourselves from his rule. But if you establish the connection with the spiritual kingdom then you make yourselves subject to Me, the father of eternity, Who truly wants to give you other goods than the transience of the earthly world. Although you live an earthly life and have to meet its requirements, you should also fulfil your duties to the best of your ability, you should by no means sink into idleness and believe that you serve Me by withdrawing into solitude and neglecting earthly activity; You should be active and create and work for the benefit of your fellow human beings; your earthly work should consist of constructive activity which benefits your fellow human beings and thus you should be active in serving neighbourly love, even though the work is a duty imposed on you. Yet you should not start anything without Me, always request My blessing for it, and then I will also bless your work, I will help you to master it, so that you can meet all requirements and yet also fulfil your spiritual task, which is the purpose and aim of your earthly life. But you should never put the worldly above the spiritual.... Every excessive worry is detrimental to the soul, just as it is unnecessary, for I will take over every concern for your physical well-being if you diligently care for your soul and put this concern before everything else. You should not favour the earthly kingdom and its rulers too much if you don't want to run the risk of becoming superficial towards the spiritual kingdom, but if you strive for this first then you will also be considered earthly, and truly, better than you can manage yourselves, for I take fatherly care of My own as soon as they see their father of eternity in Me, Whom they love and want to serve Him....

Das irdische Reich und seine Herrscher.... Irdische Pflichterfüllung - Geistige Arbeit....

Verschreibt ihr euch der Welt, dann verschreibt ihr euch auch dem, der die Welt regiert insofern, als daß er die Menschen zu Sklaven ihrer Triebe macht, die nur auf weltliche Freuden und materielle Güter gerichtet sind. Und dann könnet ihr euch nur schwer von seiner Herrschaft frei machen. Stellet ihr aber die Verbindung her mit dem geistigen Reich, dann machet ihr euch Mir untertan, dem Vater von Ewigkeit, Der euch wahrlich andere Güter schenken will, als die Vergänglichkeit der irdischen Welt. Ihr steht zwar im irdischen Leben und müsset den Anforderungen dessen gerecht werden, ihr sollt auch nach Kräften eure Pflichten erfüllen, ihr sollt euch keineswegs ins Nichtstun versenken und glauben, daß ihr Mir dadurch dienet, daß ihr euch zurückziehet in die Einsamkeit und die irdische Tätigkeit vernachlässigt; ihr sollt rege sein und schaffen und wirken zum Wohl eurer Mitmenschen; es soll eure Erdenarbeit in aufbauender Tätigkeit bestehen, die den Mitmenschen zum Nutzen gereichet und ihr euch also in dienender Nächstenliebe betätigt, wenngleich die Arbeit eine euch auferlegte Pflicht ist. Doch nichts sollet ihr ohne Mich beginnen, immer Meinen Segen dazu erbitten, und Ich werde dann auch eure Arbeit segnen, Ich werde euch helfen, daß ihr sie bewältigt, daß ihr allen Anforderungen nachkommen könnt und doch auch eure geistige Aufgabe erfüllet, die Zweck und Ziel eures Erdenlebens ist. Doch niemals sollet ihr das Weltliche über das Geistige setzen.... Jede übermäßige Sorge ist von Schaden für die Seele, wie sie auch unnötig ist, denn Ich übernehme jede Sorge um euer körperliches Wohl, so ihr eifrig für eure Seele sorget und diese Sorge allem voransetzt. Das irdische Reich und ihre Herrscher dürfet ihr nicht zu sehr begünstigen, wollet ihr nicht in Gefahr geraten, oberflächlich zu werden dem geistigen Reich gegenüber, strebet ihr aber dieses als erstes an, dann werdet ihr auch irdisch bedacht werden, und wahrlich besser, als ihr selbst es euch schaffen könnet, denn Ich sorge väterlich für die Meinen, sowie sie in Mir ihren Vater von Ewigkeit sehen, Den sie lieben und Ihm dienen wollen....
