Merging the spirit with the soul through love....

In the fusion with Me you will find the highest happiness. The spiritual spark in you seeks to unite with the eternal father-spirit, but it is prevented from doing so by the soul and the body as long as they are still worldly-minded, that is, their striving contradicts the spiritual striving. Then the soul is stronger than the spirit insofar as the spirit does not have a compelling effect but lets the soul determine and withdraws. Therefore the soul first has to be won for the same striving, it has to join the spirit with its desire in completely free will, only then can the spirit work in the human being, and only then will the human being's connection with Me be established. But the union of the soul with the spirit is the result of the working of love. To perform a work of unselfish neighbourly love is first of all a turning away from the world, i.e. a voluntary renunciation of something belonging to the world, as soon as the work of love is about the distribution of earthly goods. But if it is help of a different kind, then self-love always takes a back seat, and this is an act of worldly renunciation, a moment of the soul's insertion into the will of the spirit, which impels the soul to deeds of love. If the soul gives ear to the spirit then it has won it over for itself, and then the union with Me can also take place, Who is in most intimate contact with the spiritual spark, for it is My share and remains My share for eternity. Thus, something which was previously outside returns to Me again through love.... Again and again I want to make people understand why love can never be excluded from the soul's ascent; again and again I want to explain to them how the working of love influences the soul's union with the spirit and thus with Me, and again and again I want to make clear to them the significance of merging with Me, of the spiritual marriage, and give them the beatitude on earth already which results from this union with Me. But the human being is too earthly minded and only values the tangible goods attainable on earth; but he ignores the spiritual goods because he does not believe in the soul's continuation of life after death and because only this belief makes him consciously strive for spiritual goods. And yet, I will not let up and again and again speak to people in the word and again and again instruct them to strive for unity with Me. For in the stage as a human being the spiritual in him is capable of realization, but his will alone determines to what extent he evaluates the ability of realization. And I don't force this will but help it to decide....

Verschmelzen des Geistes mit der Seele durch Liebe....

In der Verschmelzung mit Mir werdet ihr das höchste Glück finden. Der Geistesfunke in euch sucht sich mit dem Vatergeist von Ewigkeit zu verbinden, er wird aber von der Seele und dem Körper verhindert an dieser Verbindung, solange diese noch weltlich gerichtet sind, also ihr Streben ein dem Geistesstreben widersprechendes ist. Dann ist die Seele stärker als der Geist insofern, als daß der Geist nicht zwingend wirkt, sondern die Seele bestimmen läßt und sich zurückzieht. Also muß die Seele vorerst gewonnen werden für das gleiche Streben, sie muß im völlig freien Willen sich dem Geist mit seinem Begehren anschließen, dann erst kann der Geist im Menschen wirken, und dann erst wird die Verbindung des Menschen mit Mir hergestellt. Der Zusammenschluß der Seele mit dem Geist aber ist Folge des Liebewirkens. Ein Werk uneigennütziger Nächstenliebe zu verrichten ist erstmalig ein Abkehren von der Welt, d.h. ein freiwilliges Verzichtleisten auf etwas der Welt Angehörendes, sowie es sich bei dem Liebeswerk um Austeilen irdischer Güter handelt. Ist es aber eine Hilfeleistung anderer Art, dann tritt stets die Eigenliebe zurück, und es ist dies ein Akt weltlichen Aufgebens, ein Moment des Einfügens der Seele in den Willen des Geistes, der die Seele antreibt zu Taten der Liebe. Schenkt die Seele dem Geist Gehör, dann hat er sie für sich gewonnen, und dann kann die Vereinigung mit Mir auch stattfinden, Der Ich mit dem Geistesfunken in innigster Verbindung stehe, denn er ist Mein Anteil und bleibt Mein Anteil in Ewigkeit. Es kehrt also dann etwas bisher Außenstehendes wieder zu Mir zurück durch die Liebe.... Immer wieder möchte Ich den Menschen begreiflich machen, weshalb die Liebe niemals ausgeschaltet werden kann bei der Entwicklung der Seele zur Höhe; immer wieder möchte Ich es ihnen erklären, inwiefern Liebeswirken auf den Zusammenschluß der Seele mit dem Geist und also mit Mir Einfluß hat, und immer wieder will Ich ihnen die Bedeutung des Verschmelzens mit Mir, der geistigen Vermählung, klarmachen und ihnen die Seligkeit schenken auf Erden schon, die jene Vereinigung mit Mir nach sich zieht. Der Mensch aber ist zu irdisch gesinnt und wertet nur die greifbaren und auf Erden erreichbaren Güter; die geistigen Güter aber lässet er unbeachtet, weil er nicht an ein Fortleben der Seele nach dem Tode glaubt und weil erst dieser Glaube ihn bewußt streben läßt nach geistigen Gütern. Und dennoch lasse Ich nicht ab und werde immer wieder im Wort zu den Menschen sprechen und sie immer wieder hinweisen, den Zusammenschluß mit Mir zu erstreben. Denn im Stadium als Mensch ist das Geistige in ihm erkenntnisfähig, sein Wille allein aber bestimmend, wieweit er die Erkenntnisfähigkeit auswertet. Und diesen Willen zwinge Ich nicht, helfe ihm aber, sich zu entscheiden....
