Mediator between God and people.... Jesus Christ....

Jesus was the mediator between God and people at a time when the connection with God was no longer established on the part of people and it was therefore impossible for God to make Himself known to them through the inner word. A link between them and God had become necessary, so to speak, and the possibility had to be created to convey God's will to people, and this could only happen through a person who had such a high degree of maturity of his soul that he was able to hear the inner word, so that God Himself could express Himself through this person without endangering the freedom of will. This act can only take place in fullest unison of the human being's will with divine will and therefore total submission of his own will to God's will, and this complete submission results in the ability to hear God's voice, and since the divine voice (3.11.1947) sounds extremely fine and delicate only the person who attentively listens inwards is able to hear it. Jesus, the man, was full of love for His fellow human beings, He Himself heard the voice of God in Himself.... (4.11.1947) and in His love He sought to inform His fellow human beings of what He received from God Himself. For God spoke to all people through Jesus, and thus He was only the shell through which God Himself expressed Himself. The connection between God and people had become so absolutely essential, for without the mediation of divine will no-one was able to fulfil his purpose on earth, to shape himself in God's image, to shape himself into love, for at the time of Jesus Christ people were completely devoid of love and thus endlessly distant from God. There was a gulf which could only be bridged through loving activity, and people would have been irredeemably lost had God not sent them a Saviour in Jesus Christ, Who bridged the gulf by virtue of His great love for people, Who established a path from people to God.... the path of unselfish neighbourly love. This was intended to bring them back into the state of hearing the word of God, of hearing Himself and recognising His speech as divine and obeying everything God demanded of people. However, the people of that time did not establish the connection with God Himself, they neither practised unselfish neighbourly love nor did they believe in a God Who wanted to speak to them. Jesus knew about this human condition and wanted to help them by offering to fulfil the conditions which were directly linked to the hearing of the divine word. And thus He first shaped Himself into love and thereby entered into such intimate union with God that He was chosen as a mediator, that God Himself took on His body as a cover in order to conceal His radiance, His all-consuming fire of love, from people who walked in such dark spiritual night that bright light was unbearable to them. God made use of a human being, and He spoke through His mouth. Nevertheless, He was recognised by only a few. Only a few lived according to the divine will, so that they also recognised the divine in the man Jesus and accepted His word as spoken by God. The majority called His word in doubt, they did not recognise Him because they were sinful and without love.... And in this same adversity are people now again who have no faith in God and are so distant from Him through their unloving (nature) life that they cannot hear His word. (4.11.1947) And again they need mediators.... Servants through whose mouth God can express Himself in order to send admonitions and warnings to people in their spiritual hardship, to give them the commandment of love and guidelines for their way of life so that they will not be dragged into the abyss by His adversary but attain eternal beatitude. And these servants must be so intimately united with God that they are able to hear His word, they must have acquired this ability through loving activity and a will turned towards God; love for their fellow human beings must induce them to provide spiritual and earthly help. Furthermore, they must be completely independent of religious organisations, i.e. they must not be pushed into wrong thinking which can prevent them from accepting the pure word of God and rejecting contrary teachings.... because they should seek to spread the word received from God with all zeal as the sole, eternal truth. To be a mediator between God and people, to establish the connection with the spiritual kingdom is certainly the most beautiful task on earth and eclipses every earthly activity. It is a task which earns a wealth of grace of inestimable value, yet such an office is also obligatory, for he who has much must also distribute much, and he will also be held responsible for how he has administered his wealth. Being a mediator between God and people is truly of utmost importance, it is the narrowing of a gap which has become almost unbridgeable due to people's unkindness. But one person's love can build a bridge, and countless people can step onto this bridge and become able to hear the divine word again. And for this reason, God will bless His servants on earth who freely offer to render a service to their fellow human beings which will have an effect for eternity, and He will always be mindful of supporting them with love and grace so that they can fulfil their mission.... to be a suitable instrument for God Who wants to speak to people in times of deepest spiritual adversity, Who wants to help them because they urgently need His help, for time is coming to an end....

하나님과 사람 사이의 전달자. 예수 그리스도.

인간 편에서 더 이상 하나님과의 관계를 맺지 못하던 시대에 예수님은 하나님과 인간 사이의 전달자였다. 그러므로 하나님 자신이 내면에 주는 말씀을 통해 그들에게 자신을 알릴 수 없었다. 어떤 의미에서 사람들과 하나님과의 연결 고리가 필요하게 되었고, 하나님의 뜻을 사람들에게 전할 수 있는 가능성이 제공돼야만 했다. 이런 일은 단지 그의 혼이 아주 높은 성숙한 정도에 있어, 하나님이 내면으로 주는 말씀을 들을 수 있는 사람을 통해, 의지의 자유를 위태롭게 하지 않으면서 자신을 표현할 수 있었다.

이런 일은 단지 인간의 뜻과 하나님의 뜻이 완전히 일치할 때 일어날 수 있다. 그러므로 사람이 자신의 뜻을 하나님의 뜻에 완전히 복종할 때 일어날 수 있고, 이런 완전한 복종이 하나님의 음성을 들을 수 있는 능력을 준다. (1947년 11월 3일) 하나님의 음성은 아주 섬세하고 부드럽게 들리기 때문에 단지 내면에 주의를 기울이는 사람이 들을 수 있다.

인간 예수는 자신의 이웃 사람을 향한 사랑으로 충만했고, 그 자신이 자신 안에서 하나님의 음성을 들었다. (1947년 11월 4일) 그의 사랑으로 인간 예수는 자신이 하나님으로부터 받은 깨달음을 이웃 사람에게 전하기 위해 노력했다. 왜냐면 하나님이 인간 예수를 통해 모든 사람에게 말했기 때문이다. 그러므로 인간 예수는 단지 하나님 자신이 자신을 표현하는 겉형체이다. 하나님과 사람 사이의 연결이 절실히 필요했다. 왜냐면 하나님의 뜻을 알지 못하고는 아무도 이 땅에 자신이 존재하는 목적을 성취할 수 없고, 자신을 하나님의 형상대로 형성할 수 없고, 자신을 사랑으로 형성할 수 없기 때문이다. 왜냐면 예수 그리스도의 때의 사람들에게 전혀 사랑이 없었고, 이로써 하나님과 무한히 멀리 떨어져 있었기 때문이다.

단지 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 메울 수 있는 간격이 있었고, 하나님이 예수 그리스도 안에서 한 구세주를 보내, 그의 사랑으로 사람들과의 간격을 메우지 않았다면, 사람들은 구원을 받을 수 없게 멸망 받았을 것이다. 구세주는 사람들이 하나님께 가게 하는 길인, 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 이웃사랑의 길을 열어 주었다. 사람들은 이 길을 통해 하나님의 말씀을 듣고, 하나님 자신으로부터 듣고, 그의 말씀을 하나님의 말씀으로 깨닫고, 하나님이 사람들에게 요구하는 모든 것에 순종하는 상태에 도달해야 했다. 그러나 그 당시의 사람들은 하나님 자신과 연결을 이루지 않았고, 자신의 유익을 구하지 않는 사랑을 행하지 않았고, 그들에게 말하기 원하는 하나님을 믿지 않았다.

예수는 사람들의 이런 상태를 알았고, 하나님의 말씀을 직접 듣게 하는 조건들을 성취하기 위해 자신을 드리면서 사람들을 돕기 원했다. 그러므로 그는 먼저 자신을 사랑으로 형성했고, 이를 통해 하나님과의 긴밀한 연합을 이뤘고, 이로써 전달자로 택함을 받아, 하나님 자신이 그의 몸을 겉형체로 삼아, 사람들 앞에서 하나님의 화려함과 하나님의 모든 것을 삼키는 사랑의 불을 숨겼다. 사람들은 어두운 영적 밤 속에서 살았고, 그들은 밝은 빛을 견딜 수 없었다. 하나님은 한 사람을 사용하여, 그의 입술을 통해 말했다. 그러나 단지 소수의 사람들이 그를 깨달았고, 단지 소수의 사람들이 하나님의 뜻에 따라 살았다. 이로써 이런 소수의 사람들은 인간 예수 안의 거룩한 하나님을 깨달았고, 인간 예수의 말을 하나님이 말씀한 것으로 받아드렸다. 대다수의 사람들은 그의 말씀을 의심했고, 그를 깨닫지 못했다. 왜냐면 그들은 죄악 되었고, 사랑이 없었기 때문이었다.

사람들이 이제 같은 위험에 처해있다. 사람들은 하나님을 믿지 않고, 그들의 사랑이 없는 성품과 삶을 통해 하나님과 아주 멀리 떨어지게 되어 그들은 하나님의 말씀을 들을 수 없다. (1947년 11월 4일) 사람들에게 다시 중재자가 필요하고, 하나님에게 섬기는 종의 입술을 통해 자신을 표현할 수 있는 섬기는 종이 필요하다. 이로써 하나님은 영적 위험에 처한 사람들에게 훈계와 경고를 보내고, 그들에게 사랑의 계명을 주고, 그들의 삶의 방식에 기준을 주어, 그들이 하나님의 대적자에 의해 심연으로 끌려가지 않고, 영원한 축복에 도달할 수 있게 한다.

이런 섬기는 종들은 하나님의 말씀을 들을 수 있을 정도로 하나님과 긴밀하게 연합이 돼야만 하고, 그들은 사랑을 행하는 일과 하나님을 향한 의지를 통해 이런 능력을 얻어야만 한다. 이웃 사람을 향한 사랑이 그들이 영적인, 세상적인 도움을 제공하게 만들어야만 한다. 그들은 더 나아가 종교 단체와 완전히 독립적이어야만 한다. 다시 말해 그들이 하나님의 순수한 말씀을 받지 못하게 할 수 있는 잘못된 생각에 빠지도록, 모순된 가르침을 거부하는 일에 방해를 받도록 이끌림을 받아서는 안 된다. 왜냐면 그들은 하나님으로부터 받은 말씀을 유일하고 영원한 진리로써 모든 열심으로 전파하기 위해 노력해야 하기 때문이다.

하나님과 사람 사이의 전달자가 되고, 영의 나라과의 연결을 이루는 일은 실제 이 땅에서 가장 아름다운 일이고, 다른 모든 이 땅의 활동 보다 나은 일이다. 이 일은 헤아릴 수 없는 가치를 가진 풍성한 은혜를 얻는 일이다. 그러나 이런 직분에 의무가 있다. 왜냐면 많이 가진 사람은 많이 전해줘야 하고, 그가 가진 많은 것을 어떻게 관리하는 지에 대한 책임이 그에게 있기 때문이다. 하나님과 사람 사이에 전달자가 되는 일은 진실로 가장 큰 의미가 있는 일이고, 인류의 사랑 없음으로 이미 거의 극복할 수 없게 된 간격을 좁히는 일이다. 그러나 사람의 사랑이 다리를 놓을 수 있고, 무수한 사람들이 이 다리를 건널 수 있고, 다시 하나님의 말씀을 들을 수 있게 될 수 있다.

그러므로 하나님은 이 땅의 자신의 종들을 축복할 것이다. 하나님의 종들은 자유의지로 자신을 드려, 영원에까지 영향을 미치는 이웃 사람을 섬기는 일을 하는 사람들이다. 하나님은 항상 사랑과 은혜로 이런 사람들을 도울 것이다. 이로써 그들이 그들의 사명을 성취시킬 수 있게 한다. 그들의 사명은 하나님께 합당한 도구가 되는 일이다. 하나님은 가장 깊은 영적인 위험 가운데 있는 사람들에게 말하기 원하고, 그들을 돕기 원한다. 왜냐면 그들에게 하나님의 도움이 긴급하게 필요하기 때문이고, 때가 종말을 향해 다가 가기 때문이다.
