Redemptive work greatest act of neighbourly love....

Redemptive work on earth is the greatest act of neighbourly love and therefore pleasing to God. This work applies both to a fellow human being's body as well as to his soul. For the more diligently the soul is worked upon, the more the body's adversity will abate. Redemptive work, however, is everything that helps the soul to gain freedom; everything that can serve its liberation from Satan's control and its further development, everything that assists its perfection. Anyone can accomplish this redemptive work and thereby practise extremely richly blessed neighbourly love, especially during the last days before the end when countless souls suffering spiritual adversity should be helped, because their souls will be hopelessly lost without help, given that they no longer have the strength to release themselves. If you humans bear in mind that a totally weak soul is in urgent need of help, then it should be your heartfelt decision to help, providing you feel a spark of love in yourselves, because the weakness of this soul is not a temporary condition but continues forever until it receives external help. Although in its human stage the soul is capable of releasing itself if it subordinates itself to God's will and keeps His commandments. Yet since it failed to do so it is devoid of all strength and can only be helped by fellow human beings, because its wrongly inclined will has made it impossible for God's direct action. Hence love is necessary in order to take part in the redemptive work on earth, and every person who practises this neighbourly love, will be blessed by God as this love is truly unselfish. Redemptive work can only be accomplished by those who deny themselves, who have overcome their inclination towards the world and who are therefore actually already labourers in the vineyard of the Lord, who offered to carry out work which does not result in earthly achievements but solely concerns a fellow human being's spiritual wellbeing. And this kind of neighbourly love must be successful, it will not remain ineffective, the work of helping a neighbour's soul will not be done in vain providing his will is not entirely opposed to God and thus also opposes his fellow human beings' efforts.... In that case his soul will be lost for eternity, for its spiritual adversity is too great to be remedied on earth during the short time which is still available for the redemption of people's souls. Then the soul's fate will be a renewed banishment, a process through the new creations on earth, which will last an infinitely long time again....

구원하는 일이 가장 큰 이웃사랑이다.

이 땅에서 구원을 위해 역사하는 일은 가장 큰 이웃사랑이고, 따라서 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 일이다. 이 일은 이웃 사람의 몸과 혼을 다 위한 일이다. 왜냐면 혼에 대한 작업을 더 열심히 할수록, 육체의 고통이 줄어들기 때문이다. 그러나 구원하는 일은 혼이 자유롭게 되도록 돕는 모든 일이고, 혼이 사탄의 권세에서 벗어나 위로 성장하는 일을 돕는 모든 일이고, 혼이 온전해지도록 돕는 모든 일이다.

그러나 모든 사람은 구원하는 일을 할 수 있다. 그러므로 특히 종말 전의 마지막 때에, 도움을 줘야 하는 영적으로 도움이 필요한 수많은 혼들에게 이웃사랑을 행하는 일이 아주 축복된 일이다. 왜냐면 그들이 더 이상 스스로 자신을 자유롭게 할 힘이 없기 때문에, 도움이 없다면 그들의 혼이 구원받을 수 없게 멸망을 받기 때문이다. 너희 사람들이 완전히 연약해진 혼에게 긴급하게 도움이 필요하다는 것을 명심한다면, 너희가 단지 너희 안의 사랑의 불씨를 느낀다면, 너희 심장이 도움을 주려는 결심을 해야만 하게 된다. 왜냐면 혼의 연약함은 일시적인 상태가 아니라 외부에서 도움이 주어질 때까지 영원히 지속되기 때문이다.

인간의 단계에서 혼은 하나님의 뜻에 순종하고 계명을 지키면, 자신을 구원할 수 있다. 그러나 혼이 그렇게 하지 않기 때문에 혼에게 아무런 힘이 없고, 단지 이웃 사람이 혼에게 도움을 줄 수 있다. 왜냐면 사람들 자신의 전적으로 반대가 된 의지를 통해, 하나님이 직접 역사하는 일이 불가능해졌기 때문이다. 그러나 하나님은 또한 마지막 때에 이런 의지를 바꾸려고 시도한다. 그러므로 하나님은 사람들에게 자신의 일꾼을 보내고, 일꾼이 이웃 사람들에게 깨달음을 주면서, 단지 사랑을 행하는 일을 통해 혼이 자신을 구원할 수 있기 때문에, 선한 모범을 보여 사람들이 사랑을 행하는 삶을 살도록 자극하면서, 사람들이 구원하는 일을 하도록 계속하여 권면한다.

그러므로 이 땅에서 구원 사역에 참여하기 위해 사랑이 필요하다. 이웃을 위해 이런 사랑을 행하는 모든 사람은 하나님의 축복을 받을 것이다. 왜냐면 이런 사랑은 진실되고, 자신의 유익을 구하지 않기 때문이다. 구원하는 일은 단지 자신을 부인하고, 세상을 향한 집착을 극복한 사람들이, 이로써 진실로 주님의 포도원의 일꾼이 된 사람이 수행할 수 있기 때문이다. 그들은 세상적인 성공을 주지 않는 일에, 단지 유일하게 이웃 사람의 영적인 행복을 위해 자신을 드린다. 이런 이웃사랑은 성공해야만 하게 될 것이고, 이런 사랑은 결과가 없이 머물지 않을 것이다. 이웃사람의 혼을 위한 일은, 이웃사람의 의지가 하나님을 전적으로 대적하여, 이웃사람의 수고에 저항하지 않는 한, 헛되지 않을 것이다.

이웃사람이 저항을 한다면, 그의 혼은 영원히 멸망을 받는다. 왜냐면 영적인 위험이 너무 커서 이 땅에서 혼의 구원을 위해 사람들에게 남아있는 짧은 시간에 영적인 위험을 해결할 수 없기 때문이다. 그러면 다시 끝없이 오랜 기간 동안 이 땅의 새로운 창조물의 과정을 거치는 새롭게 파문을 받는 일이 하나님을 대적하는 혼의 운명이 된다.
