Spiritually orientated senses....

Your senses have to be spiritually orientated in order to be able to receive spiritual gifts.... If you are to receive grace and strength you have to make yourselves receptive to it, that is, you have to recognise your lack and ask Me to remedy it. This is not striving for earthly possessions, it is not a physical desire, it is the soul's need, it is spiritually orientated thoughts. And the power which is now sent to you is likewise only of effect for your soul, indeed also strengthening the body, but not physically perceptible or outwardly recognisable. Power and grace revitalise the soul, but where the soul is strengthened this is also shared with the body in an equally revitalising way. Strength can certainly also be requested to cope with earthly demands and this request will also be fulfilled by Me. Then you will also receive spiritual strength, but even then the directing of your thoughts into the spiritual realm is a prerequisite, which you fulfil through prayer to Me. However, more urgent than an external supply of strength is the supply of strength for the soul, and this requires spiritually orientated thinking, thus an intensive connection with the spiritual kingdom, with the Giver of spiritual strength.... But then your upward development is also assured, for nothing remains without a supply of strength which desires such and expresses its desire to Me through spiritually orientated thinking. The latter, however, requires a detachment from what belongs to the world. Where the world predominates, the human being establishes too little connection with the spiritual kingdom and the supply of strength can only be granted in accordance with this connection. But he who disregards the world, who endeavours to replace it with spiritual goods, will be abundantly endowed with strength and grace, with light, that is, with knowledge of eternal truth, and he will live earthly life like a dream, for spiritual strength will lift him above the heaviness of earth. Try to free yourselves from all earthly worries by connecting yourselves ever more intimately with Me, by directing all your senses spiritually, and you will be able to receive abundantly that which your soul is lacking, which will help you to ascend.... You will be allowed to take possession of spiritual riches and be full of strength, and your body will also feel this beneficially because the soul will soon subjugate it and it will then desire nothing else than the soul, for both will then be guided by the spirit within themselves, they will be drawn over into the spiritual kingdom, for the body, too, will participate in the emanation of strength and grace as soon as it has e the desire for earthly possessions within itself....

Geistig gerichtete Sinne....

Eure Sinne müssen geistig gerichtet sein, um Geistiges empfangen zu können.... So Gnade und Kraft euch zugehen soll, müsset ihr euch empfänglich machen dafür, d.h., ihr müsset euren Mangel erkennen und Mich bitten, daß Ich ihn behebe. Dies ist kein Streben nach irdischem Gut, es ist kein körperliches Verlangen, es ist das Bedürfnis der Seele, es sind geistig gerichtete Gedanken. Und die Kraft, die euch nun zugeht, ist gleichfalls nur von Wirkung für eure Seele, zwar auch den Körper kräftigend, doch nicht körperlich spürbar oder äußerlich erkennbar. Kraft und Gnade belebet die Seele, wo aber die Seele gestärkt ist, teilet sich dies auch dem Körper mit in gleichfalls belebender Art. Es kann wohl auch Kraft angefordert werden zur Bewältigung irdischer Anforderungen, und es wird auch diese Bitte von Mir erfüllt werden. Dann geht euch auch geistige Kraft zu, doch auch dann ist das Richten eurer Gedanken ins Geistige Voraussetzung, die ihr durch das Gebet zu Mir erfüllt. Jedoch dringender als äußerliche Kraftzufuhr ist die Kraftzuwendung für die Seele, und diese erfordert geistig gerichtetes Denken, also eine intensive Verbindung mit dem geistigen Reich, mit dem Spender geistiger Kraft.... Dann aber ist auch eure Aufwärtsentwicklung gesichert, denn nichts bleibt ohne Kraftzufuhr, das solche begehrt und sein Begehren durch geistig gerichtetes Denken Mir kundgibt. Letzteres aber verlangt ein Lösen vom Irdischen. Wo das Irdische überwiegt, stellt der Mensch die Verbindung zu wenig her mit dem geistigen Reich, und die Kraftzufuhr kann nur dieser Verbindung entsprechend gewährt werden. Wer aber das Irdische außer acht lässet, wer es zu ersetzen trachtet durch geistige Güter, der wird überreich bedacht werden mit Kraft und Gnade, mit Licht, d.h. mit Wissen um die ewige Wahrheit, und das Erdenleben wird er wie ein Traumleben zurücklegen, denn die geistige Kraft hebt ihn über die Erdenschwere hinaus. Suchet euch frei zu machen von jeglicher irdischen Sorge, indem ihr euch immer inniger Mir verbindet, indem ihr alle eure Sinne geistig richtet, und ihr werdet überreich empfangen können das, was eurer Seele mangelt, was ihr verhilft zur Höhe.... ihr werdet geistige Reichtümer in Besitz nehmen dürfen und voller Kraft sein, und auch euer Körper wird dies wohltätig empfinden, weil die Seele ihn bald sich untertan machen wird und er dann nichts anderes verlangt als die Seele, denn beide werden dann vom Geist in sich geleitet, sie werden herübergezogen ins geistige Reich, denn auch der Körper nimmt teil an der Ausstrahlung von Kraft und Gnade, sowie er das Verlangen nach irdischem Gut in sich ertötet hat....
