Earthly fulfilment of duty.... spiritual work....

Nothing should stop you from striving for perfection, and therefore you should not want to achieve earthly aims but only think of your souls and your earthly task, which alone is important since it shall earn you life in eternity. Therefore, if the world approaches you with its demands, then ask God for the strength to enable you to fulfil what is earthly demanded of you, yet know that God likewise makes demands of you and that their fulfilment is far more important, because earthly life was only given to you for the purpose that you strive upwards, that you become perfect and that you must not neglect this task if earthly life is to bring you success for your soul. The human being should never shirk his duties which earthly life imposes on him, for he should use his vitality in helpful neighbourly love; he should be constantly active, for only constant activity contributes towards the redemption of that which is still bound and wants to serve. But if he puts the work for his soul before all earthly work he will not do wrong, on the contrary, he will contribute to the redemption of the bound to a greater extent, and spiritual activity outweighs earthly activity many times over. Anyone who always strives to walk the right path on earth, who only wants to think and act in accordance with God's will, will always place his strength at the service of his neighbour, and what appears to be most important to him he will do first.... If spiritual work seems to him to be unpostponable because he recognizes the hardship on earth, he should give in to his heart's urge and be spiritually active. For the will to work for the kingdom of God also gives him an intensified feeling for what is necessary, and the soul's work should always be placed before all other work, after all, it is the actual purpose of earthly life. But as long as the human being walks along without realization, earthly fulfilment of duty is advisable and in accordance with divine order. But once the meaning and purpose of earthly life has become clear to him, earthly life recedes and spiritual life has priority, because this is imperishable and understandably work for eternity is more important than activity that only brings earthly success. The more mature the human being is, the easier it is for him to separate himself from earth and its goods, the less he demands worldly pleasures, and thus he must also then put worldly demands on hold, i.e. only comply with them as far as is absolutely necessary. Nevertheless, he should practice the activity of love, he should bring love to its highest development and thus let every earthly activity become an activity of love at the same time, so that he now fulfils both.... that he fulfils his duty on earth and yet strives for perfection. And he should use his strength as a labourer for the kingdom of God.... he should set himself an aim by trying to lead erring souls to God, he should help them to realize and thus be spiritually active.... then he will have double success.... he will help himself and his fellow human beings to maturity of soul and use his vitality for redemptive activity....

Cumprimento terrestre do dever.... Trabalho Espiritual....

Nada vos deve impedir de lutar pela perfeição, e por isso não deveis querer alcançar os objectivos terrenos, mas apenas pensar nas vossas almas e na vossa tarefa terrena, que só por si é importante, porque vos ganhará a vida na eternidade. Portanto, se o mundo se aproxima de você com as suas exigências, então peça a Deus a força para que você possa cumprir o que lhe é exigido terrenamente, mas saiba que Deus também faz exigências a você e que o seu cumprimento é muito mais importante, porque a vida terrena só lhe foi dada para que você se esforce para cima, para que você se torne perfeito e para que você não descuide desta tarefa, se a vida terrena é para lhe trazer sucesso para a sua alma. O ser humano nunca deve fugir aos seus deveres que a vida terrena lhe impõe, pois deve usar a sua vitalidade no amor útil ao próximo; deve estar constantemente ativo, pois só a atividade constante contribui para a redenção daquilo que ainda está ligado e quer servir. Mas se ele coloca o trabalho para a sua alma antes de todo o trabalho terreno, não fará mal, pelo contrário, contribuirá para a redenção do limite em maior medida, e a atividade espiritual pesa mais do que a atividade terrena muitas vezes. Qualquer pessoa que sempre se esforça para percorrer o caminho certo na terra, que só quer pensar e agir de acordo com a vontade de Deus, colocará sempre a sua força ao serviço do próximo, e o que lhe parece ser mais importante ele fará primeiro..... Se o trabalho espiritual lhe parece ser impagável porque ele reconhece as dificuldades na Terra, ele deve ceder ao impulso do seu coração e ser espiritualmente ativo. Pois a vontade de trabalhar pelo Reino de Deus também lhe dá um sentimento intensificado pelo que é necessário, e o trabalho da alma deve ser sempre colocado antes de qualquer outro trabalho, afinal, é o verdadeiro propósito da vida terrena. Mas, enquanto o ser humano caminhar sem realização, é aconselhável o cumprimento do dever terreno e de acordo com a ordem divina. Mas uma vez que o sentido e o propósito da vida terrena se tornaram claros para ele, a vida terrena retrocede e a vida espiritual tem prioridade, porque isso é imperecível e o trabalho compreensível para a eternidade é mais importante do que a atividade que só traz sucesso terreno. Quanto mais maduro for o ser humano, tanto mais fácil é para ele se separar da Terra e de seus bens, tanto menos ele exige prazeres mundanos e, portanto, também deve então colocar as exigências mundanas em suspenso, ou seja, só cumpri-las na medida do absolutamente necessário. No entanto, ele deve praticar a atividade do amor, ele deve levar o amor ao seu mais alto desenvolvimento e assim deixar que toda atividade terrena se torne uma atividade de amor ao mesmo tempo, de modo que agora ele cumpra tanto.... que ele cumpre o seu dever na terra e ainda luta pela perfeição. E ele deve usar a sua força como trabalhador para o Reino de Deus.... ele deve estabelecer uma meta, tentando levar almas erradas a Deus, ele deve ajudá-las a perceber e assim ser espiritualmente ativo.... então ele terá duplo sucesso.... Ele vai ajudar a si mesmo e aos seus semelhantes à maturidade da alma e usar a sua vitalidade para a actividade redentora...._>Amém
