"Father, Thy Will Be Done...." struggles....

In the hustle and bustle of the world the human being very easily loses contact with the spiritual world if he is not yet inner enough and allows himself to be captured by the world and its stimuli. The forces which struggle around him are limited or favoured in their activity by his will, and therefore no coercion can be exerted on the part of the spiritual forces, only a mental influencing can take place, which is often very difficult for the good forces when the human being lives in the midst of the world and takes little time for inner contemplation. The world is a danger for the soul and yet necessary for its free development, for it does not mature without resistance and struggles. Only in a certain state of maturity does it no longer need temptation, as soon as it has asserted itself against it and joined God or strives towards Him with all its senses. Then the spiritual world comes the closer to him, and the conscious connection with it secures the human being's ascent to the heights. But the human being is not spared inner struggles of the soul, for the forces of darkness do not give up their attempts to draw him down into their realm. Yet the soul can also grow stronger from this, for although it does not fall prey to the lower forces either, its desire and struggle for God becomes stronger the more it feels oppressed. And this also results in increased influx of grace, which always increases the soul's maturity. Even temptation is permitted by God because it can benefit the soul, so that the soul will not become lukewarm and sluggish in its striving upwards. The human being whose life passes in uniformity also usually remains on the same level of development if he is not exceptionally lovingly active, thus he fulfils his purpose of earthly life by himself and no longer needs the incentive for spiritual striving. However, a state of struggle is indisputably more beneficial for the soul, for earthly time is short and every opportunity should be utilized in order to reach the highest possible level of maturity. And therefore the human being should not allow himself to be depressed if he is afflicted by battles of the soul.... He should approach the heavenly father with everything that oppresses him and commend himself to Him and His grace.... he should wait patiently for His help, fully believing and trusting in His loving care.... he should be unconcerned, for the father in heaven does not leave His children in the distress of their souls. And there is nothing His omnipotence cannot banish and His love does not want to banish. Only firm faith in Him, in His omnipotence and love, should inspire the earthly child, for the father considers His children according to faith. And the human being should always pray: "Father, Your will be done...." and his soul will be delivered from every adversity....

“Padre, la Tua Volontà sia fatta.... ” Le lotte

Nel traffico del mondo l’uomo perde molto facilmente il collegamento con il mondo spirituale se non è ancora abbastanza interiorizzato e si lascia catturare dal mondo ed i suoi fascini. Le Forze che lottano per lui, sono per questo motivo limitate o favorite nella loro attività attraverso la sua volontà e perciò da parte delle Forze spirituali non può essere esercitata nessuna costrizione, può aver luogo soltanto un’influenza mentale, cosa che è sovente molto difficile per le Forze buone, quando l’uomo vive in mezzo al mondo e si prende poco tempo per le contemplazioni interiori. Il mondo è un pericolo per l’anima e comunque necessario per il suo libero sviluppo, perché senza resistenza e lotta non matura. Solo in un certo stato di maturità non ha più bisogno della tentazione, appena si afferma contro queste e si è unita con Dio, cioè tende verso di Lui con tutti i suoi sensi. Allora il mondo spirituale si avvicina di più all’uomo ed il cosciente collegamento con questo gli assicura la risalita verso l’Alto. Ma all’uomo non rimangono risparmiate delle lotte dell’anima, perché le forze della tenebra non rinunciano ai loro tentativi di tirarla giù nel loro regno. Ma anche in ciò l’anima può fortificarsi, perché benché non cada alle forze basse, perché più si sente oppressa, più diventa forte il suo desiderio di lottare per Dio. E questo ha anche per conseguenza un aumentato apporto di Grazia che aumenta sempre la maturità dell’anima. Persino la tentazione è ammessa da Dio, perché può procurare all’anima un vantaggio, affinché non diventi tiepida e pigra nel suo tendere verso l’Alto. L’uomo la cui vita scorre nella regolarità, rimane anche quasi sempre sullo stesso gradino di sviluppo, se non è straordinariamente attivo nell’amore, quindi adempie da sé lo scopo della sua vita terrena e non ha più bisogno dello sprone al tendere spirituale. Uno stato di lotta è indubbiamente più favorevole per l’anima, perché il tempo terreno è breve ed ogni occasione dev’essere utilizzata per giungere ad una maturità più alta possibile. E perciò l’uomo non deve lasciarsi schiacciare se viene chiamato alle lotte dell’anima, deve presentarsi davanti al Padre celeste con tutto ciò che lo preme e raccomandarsi a Lui ed alla Sua Grazia, deve attendere con pazienza il Suo Aiuto, essere certo della Sua amorevole Provvidenza pienamente fiducioso e credente, dev’essere tranquillo, perché il Padre nel Cielo non lascia i Suoi figli nella miseria dell’anima. E non esiste nulla che la Sua Onnipotenza non possa bandire ed il Suo Amore non voglia bandire. Solo la ferma fede in Lui, nella Sua Onnipotenza ed Amore deve animare il figlio terreno, perché rispetto alla fede, il Padre provvede i figli Suoi. E l’uomo deve sempre pregare: “Padre, la Tua volontà sia fatta.... ”, e la sua anima verrà liberata da ogni miseria.
