Strong faith.... answer to prayer....

The strength of faith achieves everything, and therefore the strength of faith does not cause anxiety but the human being confidently lets everything approach him and trusts in the help of Him Who is in heaven, Who possesses all power and Who directs everything according to His will. He does not become discouraged and fears no one but God alone. But he also loves God and this love prompts him to speak to the father like a child and to present all his needs to Him; he trusts in the father's love for His child and from this he also draws the profound faith that He will help him. He feels himself to be the father's child, and this is the reason for his rock-solid trust.... And therefore nothing can frighten or worry him, no matter what may come. The more confidently he expects God's help, the stronger his faith will be, and God will never let it fail. And that is why the human being should not stop struggling and asking for strong faith. He should try to imagine God's infinite love which looks after and cares for everything that has emerged from it.... But love fulfils every request, and the more confidently the human being trusts in divine fatherly love the less he will make wrong requests, for love denies the human being nothing; only the fulfilment must not harm his soul. But a person whose faith in God's infinite love is very strong and unshakeable is no longer in danger of losing himself as soon as his request is granted, for he no longer asks for earthly goods but only for the prevention of severe suffering which he fears. And he himself can banish this suffering through his faith if he lets it grow to such strength that he is fully convinced of the fulfilment of his request. For then he trustingly gives himself entirely to the heavenly father, he humbly awaits His working and also completely submits to His will. And therefore he now also thinks correctly, and this is expressed by the fact that he expects God's help with utmost calmness and confidence because he knows that God's love leans towards the earthly child which firmly believes in Him. God demands a firm unshakeable faith and will therefore never disappoint it. But the human being himself has to struggle for this firm faith, he has to pray fervently to God for the strength of faith, he has to ask that he will not fail when great adversity approaches him. For God will never let this prayer go unheard, which is more for the soul than for the body.... It is a request for spiritual possessions, for a profound unshakeable faith is not an earthly possession but something purely spiritual, it is the foundation of the spiritual kingdom, because without faith no-one can enter the spiritual kingdom which signifies eternal life for the human being, for his soul. For only through faith does the human being come to God, and only faith prompts him to live a way of life pleasing to God, only faith allows him to reach his final aim.... the final union with God....

La forte fede – L’esaudimento della preghiera

La Forza della fede riesce fare tutto e perciò questa non permette nemmeno nessun timore, ma l’uomo lascia che gli si avvicini tutto fiducioso e confida nell’Aiuto di Colui il Quale E’ nel Cielo, il Quale possiede tutta la Potenza e guida tutto secondo la Sua Volontà. Non si scoraggia e non teme nessuno che soltanto Dio. Ma sta anche nell’Amore di Dio e questo Amore lo induce di parlare con il Padre come un figlio e Gli presenta tutte le sue miserie; confida nell’Amore del Padre per il figlio Suo e da ciò attinge anche la profonda fede che Egli lo aiuterà. Lui stesso si sente come figlio del Padre e questo è il motivo della fiducia ferma come una roccia. E perciò nulla lo può spaventare e inquietare, qualunque cosa possa accadere. Più fiducioso attende l’Aiuto di Dio, più forte è la sua fede e Dio non la lascia mai andare in rovina. E perciò l’uomo non deve mai smettere di lottare e chiedere una forte fede. Deve cercare d’immaginarsi l’infinito Amore di Dio che assiste e provvede a tutto ciò che è proceduto da Lui. Ma l’Amore adempie ogni richiesta e più fiducioso l’uomo confida nel divino Amore di Padre, meno richieste sbagliate farà, perché l’Amore non nega nulla all’uomo; soltanto l’esaudimento non deve procurare nessun danno all’anima dell’uomo. Ma un uomo la cui fede è molto forte ed irremovibile nell’infinito Amore di Dio, la sua anima non è più in pericolo di perdersi, appena la sua richiesta gli viene esaudita, perché non chiede beni terreni, ma soltanto di distogliere da lui la grave sofferenza che temeva. E lui stesso può bandire questa sofferenza attraverso la sua fede, quando la fa diventare così forte che è completamente convinto dell’esaudimento della sua richiesta, perché allora si dà del tutto fiducioso al Padre, attende rassegnato il Suo Agire e si adegua anche del tutto alla Sua Volontà. E perciò ora pensa anche in modo giusto e questo si manifesta nell’attendere l’Aiuto di Dio nella più grande calma e fiducia perché sà che l’Amore di Dio Si china al figlio terreno che crede fermamente in Lui. Dio esige una ferma fede irremovibile e di conseguenza non la deluderà mai. Ma l’uomo stesso deve lottare per questa ferma fede, deve pregare Dio con insistenza per la Forza della fede, deve chiedere di non fallire, quando gli si avvicina la grande miseria. Perché Dio non lascerà mai inudita questa preghiera che è rivolta più all’anima che al corpo. E’ una richiesta per il Bene spirituale, perché una profonda fede irremovibile non è un possesso terreno, è qualcosa di puramente spirituale, è il fondamento del Regno spirituale, perché senza fede nessuno può entrare nel Regno spirituale, che significa Vita eterna per l’uomo, per la sua anima. Perché solo attraverso la fede l’uomo giunge a Dio e solo la fede lo induce ad un cammino di vita compiacente a Dio, solo la fede gli fa raggiungere la sua ultima meta, la definitiva unificazione con Dio.
