Strong faith.... answer to prayer....

The strength of faith achieves everything, and therefore the strength of faith does not cause anxiety but the human being confidently lets everything approach him and trusts in the help of Him Who is in heaven, Who possesses all power and Who directs everything according to His will. He does not become discouraged and fears no one but God alone. But he also loves God and this love prompts him to speak to the father like a child and to present all his needs to Him; he trusts in the father's love for His child and from this he also draws the profound faith that He will help him. He feels himself to be the father's child, and this is the reason for his rock-solid trust.... And therefore nothing can frighten or worry him, no matter what may come. The more confidently he expects God's help, the stronger his faith will be, and God will never let it fail. And that is why the human being should not stop struggling and asking for strong faith. He should try to imagine God's infinite love which looks after and cares for everything that has emerged from it.... But love fulfils every request, and the more confidently the human being trusts in divine fatherly love the less he will make wrong requests, for love denies the human being nothing; only the fulfilment must not harm his soul. But a person whose faith in God's infinite love is very strong and unshakeable is no longer in danger of losing himself as soon as his request is granted, for he no longer asks for earthly goods but only for the prevention of severe suffering which he fears. And he himself can banish this suffering through his faith if he lets it grow to such strength that he is fully convinced of the fulfilment of his request. For then he trustingly gives himself entirely to the heavenly father, he humbly awaits His working and also completely submits to His will. And therefore he now also thinks correctly, and this is expressed by the fact that he expects God's help with utmost calmness and confidence because he knows that God's love leans towards the earthly child which firmly believes in Him. God demands a firm unshakeable faith and will therefore never disappoint it. But the human being himself has to struggle for this firm faith, he has to pray fervently to God for the strength of faith, he has to ask that he will not fail when great adversity approaches him. For God will never let this prayer go unheard, which is more for the soul than for the body.... It is a request for spiritual possessions, for a profound unshakeable faith is not an earthly possession but something purely spiritual, it is the foundation of the spiritual kingdom, because without faith no-one can enter the spiritual kingdom which signifies eternal life for the human being, for his soul. For only through faith does the human being come to God, and only faith prompts him to live a way of life pleasing to God, only faith allows him to reach his final aim.... the final union with God....

Starker Glaube.... Gebetserhörung....

Des Glaubens Stärke bringt alles zuwege, und darum läßt die Stärke des Glaubens auch keine Bangigkeit aufkommen, sondern zuversichtlich lässet der Mensch alles an sich herankommen, und er vertrauet auf die Hilfe Dessen, Der im Himmel ist, Der alle Macht besitzet und Der alles lenket nach Seinem Willen. Er wird nicht mutlos, und er fürchtet niemanden als nur Gott allein. Er steht aber auch in der Liebe zu Gott, und diese Liebe veranlaßt ihn, einem Kind gleich mit dem Vater zu reden und Ihm alle seine Nöte vorzutragen; er vertrauet auf die Liebe des Vaters zu Seinem Kind, und daraus schöpfet er auch den tiefen Glauben, daß Er ihm helfen wird. Er fühlt sich selbst als Kind des Vaters, und dies ist der Grund des felsenfesten Vertrauens.... Und darum kann ihn nichts schrecken und beunruhigen, was auch kommen mag. Je zuversichtlicher er die Hilfe Gottes erwartet, desto stärker ist sein Glaube, und diesen lässet Gott nimmermehr zuschanden werden. Und darum soll der Mensch nicht aufhören, um starken Glauben zu ringen und zu bitten. Er soll sich die unendliche Liebe Gottes vorzustellen versuchen, die alles betreut und umsorgt, was aus ihr hervorgegangen ist.... Die Liebe aber erfüllet jede Bitte, und je zuversichtlicher der Mensch auf die göttliche Vaterliebe vertraut, desto weniger wird er Fehlbitten tun, denn die Liebe versagt dem Menschen nichts; nur darf ihm die Erfüllung nicht Schaden an seiner Seele eintragen. Ein Mensch aber, dessen Glauben an die unendliche Liebe Gottes sehr stark und unerschütterlich ist, dessen Seele ist nicht mehr in der Gefahr, sich zu verlieren, sowie seine Bitte ihm erfüllt wird, denn er bittet nicht mehr um irdische Güter, sondern er bittet nur um Abwendung von schwerem Leid, vor dem er sich ängstet. Und er selbst kann dieses Leid bannen durch seinen Glauben, wenn er diesen zu solcher Stärke werden lässet, daß er von der Erfüllung seiner Bitte voll überzeugt ist. Denn dann gibt er sich vertrauensvoll ganz dem himmlischen Vater zu eigen, er harret ergeben auf Dessen Wirken, und er fügt sich auch gänzlich in Seinen Willen. Und darum denkt er nun auch richtig, und es kommt dies zum Ausdruck, daß er in größter Ruhe und Zuversicht Gottes Hilfe erwartet, weil er weiß, daß die Liebe Gottes sich dem Erdenkind zuneigt, das fest an Ihn glaubt. Gott fordert einen festen unerschütterlichen Glauben und wird sonach diesen niemals enttäuschen. Der Mensch selbst aber muß ringen um diesen festen Glauben, er muß zu Gott inständig beten um die Kraft des Glaubens, er muß darum bitten, daß er nicht versage, so die große Not an ihn herantritt. Denn niemals wird Gott dieses Gebet unerhört lassen, das mehr der Seele gilt als dem Körper.... Es ist eine Bitte um geistiges Gut, denn ein tiefer unerschütterlicher Glaube ist kein irdischer Besitz, sondern etwas rein Geistiges, er ist das Fundament des geistigen Reiches, weil ohne den Glauben niemand in das geistige Reich eingehen kann, das ewiges Leben bedeutet für den Menschen, für dessen Seele. Denn nur durch den Glauben kommt der Mensch zu Gott, und nur der Glaube veranlaßt ihn zu einem Gott-gefälligen Lebenswandel, nur der Glaube lässet ihn sein letztes Ziel erreichen.... die endgültige Vereinigung mit Gott....
