Many are called, few are chosen....

Many are called, but few are chosen.... Both calling and election depend on God's grace, but this gift of grace is also determined by the will of the person himself, whether he is receptive to it, i.e. whether he makes himself worthy of the exceptional influx of divine grace. God has called all people to eternal bliss, and yet it depends on the will of the individual that he is worthy of it. All people can feel called, but it is up to them to decide how they feel about it. There is no compulsion from above, just as an individual's preference does not effortlessly help him to ascend, but every extraordinary supply of grace is only the result of a will that is seriously turned to God and makes an effort to fulfill the divine will. Then God's love takes hold of him and strengthens and supports him through an abundant influx of grace, which brings about his perfection. And these are the chosen ones, they are His own, who are constantly allowed to receive grace from Him because they want to receive it and constantly ask for it. Thus the human being's will is absolutely essential for him to be chosen in the first place, and yet no-one can say that he is not also called on this earth, for since he lives on earth for the purpose of his higher development God Himself has called him to cover the path upwards and He also makes His grace available to him for this purpose. However, very few people pay attention to their calling, i.e. they only live their lives in a purely earthly way and ignore their actual calling. God cannot choose any of these people, for granting them an excess of grace against their will would mean an inevitable higher development which has no value if the being thereby loses its free will. Yet God needs servants on earth to help those who disregard their calling.... And He can only choose these from amongst those who, of their own free will, make themselves worthy of an exceptional gift of grace, who therefore make use of the measure of grace they receive and who, through their prayer, can avail themselves of a constant supply of grace. among these, therefore, He chooses His workers and endows them with extraordinary power.... These are the chosen ones who always and constantly receive graces, but who have previously surrendered their will to God, who have voluntarily responded to the calling and have always used the supply of grace for their spiritual progress. The first are called, even without their will, yet they do not follow the call, but these are likewise called by God and offer no resistance, but there are only a few whom God can now consider so extraordinarily that they are regarded as God's chosen ones.... There are only a few who allow themselves to be chosen by God, who strive towards Him with all their senses and therefore can also receive gifts of grace in abundance.... that they can become children of the father and enter His kingdom....

Molti sono chiamati, pochi gli eletti

Molti sono chiamati, ma solo pochi gli eletti. La chiamata come anche la elezione dipende dalla Grazia di Dio, ma anche quest’apporto di Grazia determina la volontà dell’uomo stesso, se ne è ricettivo, cioè se si rende degno che gli affluisca straordinariamente la Grazia divina. Ma Dio ha chiamato tutti gli uomini all’eterna Beatitudine, ma come vi si dispongono, rimane lasciato a loro stessi. Non ha luogo nessuna costrizione dall’Alto, come nemmeno un favoreggiamento del singolo di aiutarlo a salire in Alto senza fatica, ma ogni straordinario apporto di Grazia è solo la conseguenza della volontà che è rivolta seriamente a Dio e si sforza di adempiere la Volontà divina. Allora la afferra l’Amore di Dio e la fortifica e la promuove attraverso il Dono di Grazia che le affluisce abbondantemente, il quale procura il suo perfezionamento. E questi sono gli eletti, sono i Suoi che possono ricevere da Lui ininterrottamente la Grazia, perché la vogliono ricevere e la chiedono costantemente. Quindi dapprima ci vuole assolutamente la volontà dell’uomo che venga eletto e nessuno può dire di non essere stato chiamato anche lui su questa Terra, perché dato che vive sulla Terra allo scopo del suo sviluppo verso l’Alto, Dio Stesso lo ha chiamato a percorrere il cammino verso l’Alto e per questo gli mette anche a disposizione la Sua Grazia. Ma gli uomini badano poco alla loro chiamata, cioè vivono la loro vita solamente in modo puramente terreno e lasciano inosservata la vera chiamata. Di costoro Dio non può eleggere degli uomini, perché non può far giungere loro una ultramisura di Grazia, contro la loro volontà significherebbe uno sviluppo verso l’Alto per costrizione che non ha nessun valore, se con ciò l’essere perde la libera volontà. Ma Dio ha bisogno di servitori sulla Terra che devono aiutare coloro che lasciano inosservata la chiamata. E questi li può eleggere solo dalla cerchia di coloro che si rendono degni per libera volontà dello straordinario apporto di Grazia, che quindi utilizzano la misura di Grazia che giunge loro ed attraverso la loro preghiera possono costantemente avvalersi della Grazia. Fra di loro Egli sceglie i Suoi operai e li provvede con straordinaria Forza. Questi sono gli eletti che ricevono sempre e continuamente le Grazie, ma che hanno dapprima dato a Dio la loro volontà, che hanno eseguito liberamente la loro chiamata e sempre utilizzato l’apporto di Grazia per il loro progresso spirituale. I primi sono chiamati anche senza la loro volontà, ma non seguono la Chiamata, ma gli altri sono stati pure chiamati da Dio e non prestano nessuna resistenza, ma sono soltanto pochi che Dio ora può provvedere in modo straordinario, che quindi valgono come gli eletti di Dio. Sono soltanto pochi che si lasciano eleggere da Dio, che tendono a Lui con tutti i sensi e perciò possono anche ricevere i Doni di Grazia in ultramisura, che diventano figli del Padre e possano entrare nel Suo Regno.
