Suitability for scrutinising spiritual gifts....

The result of inadequate research will always be negative when it concerns the scrutiny of spiritual products, since the will for rejection already predominates and this resolve is influenced by the opponent of truth. The will to advocate the truth once a person has realised it is absolutely essential for recognising the truth. Yet, precisely this will is lacking in him and, consequently, his reasoning power will be clouded and he will either be not suitable to examine or his judgment will no longer be reliable. Every serious examiner must undertake this task impartially; he must sincerely look for the truth and be willing to accept the recognised truth without prejudice. Then he will only reject that which he cannot inwardly affirm, and he will be supported by beings which want to help him know the truth and will guide his thinking correctly. For this reason, only people who do not follow a specific school of thought are suitable to examine spiritual results, otherwise their thinking is no longer unbiased, for the teachings intended to be scrutinised will clash with the doctrines of their school of thought and then it will require an exceptionally firm will in order to become completely free from the latter. And so the most convinced followers are often gained amongst people whose thoughts are not committed to teachings of a different school of thought, because they will scrutinise everything without resistance and subsequently also penetrate deeper into the spiritual information offered to them and consequently also recognise it as truth, because the truth speaks for itself as long as it is not interspersed by error which clouds a person's understanding. Then the bearers of the pure truth and the followers of other schools of thought will, understandably, oppose each other, because the latter are convinced of their points of view and therefore don't examine other spiritual gifts seriously enough but, on the other hand, always feel affronted as soon as they are confronted with views which were offered from the spiritual kingdom. There will only ever be individual people with the will and the ability to scrutinise spiritual gifts, and therefore only a few people will recognise the truth in them. Nevertheless, the attempt should be made everywhere to persuade people to examine the gifts from above, so that people will take notice of them and that it will awaken their desire for truth which can also train their ability to weigh up the different points of view against each other and then choose that which is right. Then it will still remain up to a person's free will to form his own opinion of the spiritual gifts.... for he will not be forced by any means to accept or to reject them....

L’idoneità per esaminare i Doni spirituali

Il risultato di una ricerca insufficiente sarà sempre negativo quando si tratta dell’esame di prodotti spirituali, perché allora predomina già la volontà di rifiuto e questa volontà viene influenzata dall’avversario della Verità. Per riconoscere la Verità è assolutamente necessaria la volontà di adoperarsi per questa, quando l’uomo l’ha riconosciuta. Ma gli manca proprio questa volontà e poi sarà anche offuscato il suo pensare d’intelletto e non è idoneo per l’esame, oppure il suo giudizio non è più attendibile. Ognuno che esamina seriamente deve sottoporsi non prevenuto a questo compito, deve seriamente cercare la Verità e voler accettare senza pregiudizio la Verità riconosciuta. Allora rifiuta solamente ciò che interiormente non può affermare e poi viene sostenuto dagli esseri che lo vogliono aiutare alla Verità e che ora guidano bene il suo pensare. Perciò per l’esame di risultati spirituali sono idonei solamente quegli uomini che non sono già seguaci d’un orientamento spirituale, altrimenti il loro pensare non è già più libero da influenza, perché ora confrontano gli insegnamenti da esaminare con gli insegnamenti di quell’orientamento spirituale ed allora ci vuole una volontà oltremodo forte per liberarsi totalmente dagli stessi. Perciò fra gli uomini vengono quasi sempre conquistati coloro il cui pensare non è legato attraverso insegnamenti di un altro orientamento spirituale, perché esamineranno tutto senza resistenza interiore ed ora penetrano anche più profondamente nel patrimonio spirituale a loro offerto e lo riconoscono anche come Verità, perché la Verità parla per sé stessa quando non è mescolata all’errore, perché allora la forza di conoscenza è offuscata. Comprensibilmente si staranno ora di fronte in modo avverso i portatori della pura Verità ed i seguaci degli altri orientamenti spirituali, perché questi ultimi sono convinti delle loro opinioni e perciò non esaminano abbastanza seriamente i Doni dello Spirito, d’altra parte si sentono sempre attaccati, appena vengono loro opposte delle opinioni che venivano offerte dal Regno spirituale. Sono sempre soltanto dei singoli uomini che hanno la volontà e la capacità di esaminare dei Doni spirituali e perciò solo pochi uomini riconosceranno la Verità di questi, malgrado ciò dev’essere fatto il tentativo ovunque, per muovere gli uomini ad esaminare i Doni dall’Alto, affinché ne prendano conoscenza ed in loro si muova la volontà ed il desiderio per la Verità e così possa anche essere sviluppata la capacità di soppesare vicendevolmente le diverse opinioni e poi decidersi per il giusto. Allora rimane sempre ancora la libera volontà dell’uomo, come si pone verso i Doni dello Spirito, perché non viene per nulla costretto di accettarli o di rifiutarli.
