Unselfish labor of love.... right walk before God....

Examine yourselves, exercise the strictest criticism of yourselves as to how far you submit yourselves to God's commandments and whether your thoughts and actions correspond to God's will.... You must bear one thing in mind, that you do not disregard the divine commandment of love, you must always and constantly make this your guiding principle, that you are active in love in the most unselfish way. You have a task to fulfill on earth, to mature your soul, and you can only do this by leading a way of life which is pleasing to God, thus fully complies with His will. And therefore you must make an effort to discard all selfish love, you must only ever strive to make your fellow human being happy by renouncing your own wishes, you must show him the love which Jesus Christ taught you.... pure, selfless love which is also willing to make sacrifices and does not strive for its own advantage. Such love is pleasing to God and will bring you spiritual progress; you will fulfill the purpose of your earthly life and you will receive God's love in return, Who can only radiate His love to you if you are active in love yourselves. And this divine love will make you happy, it will replace a thousand fold what you give on earth, what you voluntarily sacrifice to Him in order to help your neighbor. And thus you should always try to make yourselves worthy of divine love by living entirely in accordance with His will. You do not sacrifice, but you receive, only that it is other goods which unselfish neighborly love earns you, that they are not earthly goods or pleasures of the world, but purely spiritual goods which God now imparts to you. For this alone is true wealth, which is everlasting and which you will never have to give away once you have received it. God's love considers your soul and tries to make it happy. And what you receive from His hand is truly far more valuable than what the world can offer you, what you strive for in terms of earthly fulfillment.... God's love has no measure and can flow to you in all abundance so that you can already enjoy the bliss on earth which arises from your bond with Him. And therefore strive for this bond as long as you work on earth, for the strength of desire is the measure of its fullness.... Live in love, help at all times and desire nothing for yourselves, take part in every adversity of your fellow human being, try to alleviate it through active help, be the spiritual and physical leader of those who need guidance on earth, make every sacrifice if you thereby accomplish a good work and selflessly step back if you can thereby improve the situation of your fellow human beings.... Live in love, keep the divine commandments and thereby make yourselves worthy to be a candidate for the kingdom of God, which God has promised to those who love Him and prove this love to Him through unselfish acts of love for their neighbor....

L’agire d’amore disinteressato - Il giusto cammino dinanzi a Dio

Esaminate voi stessi, esercitate la più severa critica su di voi, fin dove vi sottomettete ai Comandamenti di Dio e se il vostro pensare ed agire corrisponde alla Volontà di Dio. Dovete ricordare una cosa, che non dimentichiate il divino Comandamento dell’amore, dovete farvene una linea di condotta sempre e continuamente, che siate attivi nell’amore nel modo più disinteressato. Avete da adempiere un compito sulla Terra, di maturare nella vostra anima, e lo potete soltanto conducendo un cammino di vita compiacente dinanzi a Dio, che corrisponda pienamente alla Sua Volontà. E perciò dovete adoperarvi per deporre ogni amor proprio, sotto la rinuncia dei propri desideri dovete sempre aspirare di rendere felice il prossimo, dovete dimostrargli l’amore che Gesù Cristo vi ha insegnato, il puro amore disinteressato che è anche pronto al sacrificio e non tende a nessun proprio vantaggio. Un tale amore è compiacente a Dio e vi apporterà un progresso spirituale; adempirete lo scopo della vostra vita terrena e come Dono di rimando riceverete l’Amore di Dio, il Quale può irradiare il Suo Amore su voi soltanto, quando voi stessi vi attivate nell’amore. E questo Amore divino vi renderà felici, vi sostituirà mille volte ciò che avete dato sulla Terra, quello che sacrificate volontariamente a Lui per aiutare il prossimo. E così dovete cercare di rendervi in ogni momento degni dell’Amore divino mediante un cammino di vita totalmente secondo la Sua Volontà. Voi non sacrificate, voi ricevete, soltanto che sono altri beni che vi procurano l’amore disinteressato per il prossimo, che non sono dei beni terreni o gioie del mondo, ma un puro bene spirituale, che ora Dio vi trasmette. Perché questo soltanto è una vera ricchezza, che è imperitura e che non avete mai più bisogno di dare via, quando l’avete una volta ricevuta. L’Amore di Dio provvede alla vostra anima e cerca di renderla felice. E quello che ricevete dalla Sua Mano, è davvero molto più prezioso di ciò che vi può offrire il mondo, a cui aspirate nell’esaudimento terreno. L’Amore di Dio non ha nessuna misura e può affluire a voi in tutta la pienezza, affinché già sulla Terra possiate godere della Beatitudine che vi sorge dall’unione con Lui. E perciò tendete a questa unione finché agite sulla Terra, perché la forza del desiderio è la misura per la sua pienezza. Vivete nell’amore, aiutate sempre e non desiderate nulla per voi, prendete parte in ogni miseria del prossimo, cercate di lenirla tramite l’aiuto fattivo, siate la guida spirituale e corporea di coloro che necessitano di una guida sulla Terra, portate ogni sacrificio se con ciò svolgete una buona opera e retrocedete disinteressatamente, se con ciò potete migliorare la situazione dei vostri prossimi. Vivete nell’amore, osservate i Comandamenti divini e rendetevi con ciò degni di essere un aspirante al Regno di Di, che Egli ha promesso a coloro che Lo amano e Gli dimostrano questo amore tramite un agire d’amore disinteressato al prossimo.
