Unselfish labor of love.... right walk before God....

Examine yourselves, exercise the strictest criticism of yourselves as to how far you submit yourselves to God's commandments and whether your thoughts and actions correspond to God's will.... You must bear one thing in mind, that you do not disregard the divine commandment of love, you must always and constantly make this your guiding principle, that you are active in love in the most unselfish way. You have a task to fulfill on earth, to mature your soul, and you can only do this by leading a way of life which is pleasing to God, thus fully complies with His will. And therefore you must make an effort to discard all selfish love, you must only ever strive to make your fellow human being happy by renouncing your own wishes, you must show him the love which Jesus Christ taught you.... pure, selfless love which is also willing to make sacrifices and does not strive for its own advantage. Such love is pleasing to God and will bring you spiritual progress; you will fulfill the purpose of your earthly life and you will receive God's love in return, Who can only radiate His love to you if you are active in love yourselves. And this divine love will make you happy, it will replace a thousand fold what you give on earth, what you voluntarily sacrifice to Him in order to help your neighbor. And thus you should always try to make yourselves worthy of divine love by living entirely in accordance with His will. You do not sacrifice, but you receive, only that it is other goods which unselfish neighborly love earns you, that they are not earthly goods or pleasures of the world, but purely spiritual goods which God now imparts to you. For this alone is true wealth, which is everlasting and which you will never have to give away once you have received it. God's love considers your soul and tries to make it happy. And what you receive from His hand is truly far more valuable than what the world can offer you, what you strive for in terms of earthly fulfillment.... God's love has no measure and can flow to you in all abundance so that you can already enjoy the bliss on earth which arises from your bond with Him. And therefore strive for this bond as long as you work on earth, for the strength of desire is the measure of its fullness.... Live in love, help at all times and desire nothing for yourselves, take part in every adversity of your fellow human being, try to alleviate it through active help, be the spiritual and physical leader of those who need guidance on earth, make every sacrifice if you thereby accomplish a good work and selflessly step back if you can thereby improve the situation of your fellow human beings.... Live in love, keep the divine commandments and thereby make yourselves worthy to be a candidate for the kingdom of God, which God has promised to those who love Him and prove this love to Him through unselfish acts of love for their neighbor....

Uneigennütziges Liebeswirken.... Rechter Wandel vor Gott....

Prüfet euch selbst, übet strengste Kritik an euch, wieweit ihr euch den Geboten Gottes unterwerfet und ob euer Denken und Handeln dem Willen Gottes entspricht.... Ihr müsset eines bedenken, daß ihr nicht das göttliche Liebesgebot außer acht lasset, ihr müsset stets und ständig euch dieses zur Richtschnur machen, daß ihr in der Liebe tätig seid in uneigennützigster Weise. Ihr habt eine Aufgabe auf Erden zu erfüllen, zu reifen an eurer Seele, und ihr könnt dies nur unter Führung eines Lebenswandels, der vor Gott wohlgefällig ist, also Seinem Willen voll und ganz entspricht. Und darum müsset ihr euch befleißigen, jede Eigenliebe abzulegen, ihr müsset unter Verzichtleistung auf die eigenen Wünsche immer nur trachten, den Mitmenschen zu beglücken, ihr müsset ihm die Liebe entgegenbringen, die Jesus Christus euch gelehrt hat.... die reine, selbstlose Liebe, die auch opferbereit ist und keinen eigenen Vorteil anstrebt. Eine solche Liebe ist Gott wohlgefällig und wird euch geistigen Fortschritt eintragen; ihr werdet den Zweck eures Erdenlebens erfüllen, und ihr werdet als Gegengabe die Liebe Gottes empfangen, Der Seine Liebe nur dann auf euch ausstrahlen kann, so ihr selbst in der Liebe euch betätigt. Und diese göttliche Liebe wird euch beglücken, sie wird euch tausendfach ersetzen, was ihr auf Erden hingebt, was ihr freiwillig Ihm aufopfert, um dem Nächsten zu helfen. Und so sollet ihr allzeit euch der göttlichen Liebe würdig zu machen suchen durch einen Lebenswandel ganz nach Seinem Willen. Ihr opfert nicht, sondern ihr empfanget, nur daß es andere Güter sind, die euch die uneigennützige Nächstenliebe einträgt, daß es keine irdischen Güter oder Freuden der Welt sind, sondern rein geistiges Gut, das Gott euch nun vermittelt. Denn dieses allein ist wahrer Reichtum, der unvergänglich ist und den ihr nimmermehr hinzugeben braucht, so ihr ihn einmal empfangen habt. Gottes Liebe bedenkt eure Seele und suchet sie zu beglücken. Und was ihr aus Seiner Hand entgegennehmet, ist wahrlich um vieles wertvoller, als was die Welt euch bieten kann, was ihr an irdischer Erfüllung anstrebt.... Die Liebe Gottes hat kein Maß und kann euch zuströmen in aller Fülle, daß ihr auf Erden schon die Seligkeit genießen könnt, die euch aus der Verbundenheit mit Ihm erwachsen. Und darum strebet nach dieser Verbundenheit, solange ihr auf Erden wirkt, denn die Stärke des Verlangens ist der Maßstab für ihre Fülle.... Lebet in der Liebe, helfet allzeit und begehret nichts für euch, nehmet Anteil an jeder Not des Mitmenschen, suchet sie zu lindern durch tatkräftige Hilfe, seid geistig und leiblich der Führer derer, die eine Führung benötigen auf Erden, bringet jedes Opfer, so ihr dadurch ein gutes Werk verrichtet, und tretet selbstlos zurück, wenn ihr die Lage eurer Mitmenschen dadurch bessern könnt.... Lebet in der Liebe, haltet die göttlichen Gebote, und machet euch dadurch würdig, ein Anwärter des Reiches Gottes zu sein, das Gott denen verheißen hat, die Ihn lieben und diese Liebe Ihm beweisen durch uneigennütziges Liebeswirken am Nächsten....
