The power of intercession....

As soon as people pray for each other their hearts are capable of love, and since love is strength, this strength flows over to the person to whom love applies.... Prayer now has an effect in that the person to whom the intercession is directed noticeably feels the flow of strength, in that he now either feels relief from his earthly hardship or is now able to cope with it due to the strength flowing towards him. And thus God already fulfills a prayer addressed to Him in love for his fellow human being purely earthly.... Far more blessed, however, is prayer which is only directed towards spiritual perfection, recognition and the striving for light and truth. Then, too, prayer has an effect in the form of strength, which the fellow human being only needs to willingly accept in order to be able to book the greatest spiritual success and thereby, understandably, also reduces the earthly hardship, which is only intended to fulfill the same purpose.... to bring about spiritual maturation. However, as soon as a person ignores the power given to him through intercession, God cannot reduce the suffering for the sake of this person whose soul He wants to save and who will be completely lost without it. Man wants to help his fellow human being who is in need.... But God is love.... and this also wants to come to man's aid. And His love and wisdom recognizes suffering as the only means to win the human being for eternity, and this love and wisdom must understandably leave the prayer for the suffering fellow human being unanswered if it questions the maturity of the soul, which is the purpose and goal of earthly life. And this is why the fulfillment of prayer should always be left to God's will, for God truly knows best by which a soul will gain the greatest spiritual advantage. Although God acknowledges love, if this love, in human ignorance, wants to end a suffering which God's love imposes on the human being, He will certainly acknowledge the former but, at His discretion, will not answer the prayer in order to bring redemption to the soul and thus seemingly disregard the human will. Yet the power of intercession will benefit them by making it easier for their thoughts to turn to God as soon as the human being's will does not completely resist Him. And therefore everything, sorrow or joy, should be left to God and everything should be accepted from His hand with submission and gratitude, for He truly knows best what serves people and He directs everything such that it will benefit the soul and the human being can attain spiritual maturity if he has the will to do so....

La Forza dell’intercessione

Appena gli uomini pregano vicendevolmente, i loro cuori sono capaci d’amare e dato che l’amore è Forza, questa fluisce anche sull’uomo a cui è diretto l’amore. Ora la preghiera ha un effetto mentre l’uomo, al quale va l’intercessione, sente sensibilmente la corrente di Forza mentre ora percepisce o un sollievo delle sue miserie terrene oppure le vincerà attraverso la Forza che gli affluisce. Così Dio esaudisce una preghiera rivolta a Lui nell’amore per un prossimo in modo già puramente terreno. Ma la preghiera che è rivolta solo al perfezionamento spirituale, alla conoscenza ed al tendere alla Luce ed alla Verità, è di maggior Benedizione. Anche allora la preghiera ha un effetto nella forma di Forza che il prossimo deve soltanto accogliere volenterosamente, per poter registrare il massimo successo spirituale e con ciò viene diminuita comprensibilmente anche la miseria terrena che deve appunto adempiere solo lo stesso scopo, di procurare una maturazione spirituale. Ma appena l’uomo lascia inosservata la Forza rivolta a lui tramite l’intercessione, Dio non può nemmeno diminuire la sofferenza per via di questa persona, la cui anima Egli vuole salvare e che senza questa Forza va totalmente perduta. L’uomo vuole aiutare il suo prossimo che si trova nella miseria. Ma Dio è l’Amore che vuole venire in Aiuto all’uomo. Ed il Suo Amore e la Sua Sapienza riconosce la sofferenza come unico mezzo per conquistare l’uomo per l’Eternità, e questo Amore e Sapienza deve comprensibilmente lasciare inesaudita la preghiera per il prossimo sofferente, quando mette in dubbio la maturazione dell’anima che è lo scopo e la meta della vita terrena. Perciò l’esaudimento della preghiera deve anche sempre essere presentata alla Volontà di Dio, perché Dio sà davvero al meglio che cosa procura all’anima il massimo vantaggio spirituale. Dio riconosce bensì l’amore, ma se questo amore nell’ignoranza umana volesse far cessare una sofferenza che l’Amore di Dio ha caricato sull’uomo, Egli riconoscerà bensì l’amore, ma non esaudirà la preghiera secondo il Suo Giudizio per portare la liberazione all’anima ed apparentemente lascerà inosservata la volontà umana. Ma la Forza dell’intercessione è a suo vantaggio, mentre il pensare dell’uomo si può rivolgere più facilmente a Dio, appena la volontà dell’uomo non è del tutto avversa a Dio. Perciò sofferenza o gioia, tutto dev’essere lasciato a Dio ed essere accolto dalla Sua Mano con arrendevolezza e gratitudine, perché Egli sà davvero meglio ciò che serve all’uomo, ed Egli guida tutto in modo che sia di salvezza per l’anima e l’uomo possa arrivare alla maturità animica, se ne ha la volontà.
