Activity in the afterlife and possibility of ascent....

Souls whose level of maturity is still very low lack all strength in the afterlife. They therefore experience nameless torment. They are aware of the strength they had at their disposal on earth. Their lot is therefore worsened and they realize that they are incapable of improving their situation. The state of suffering cannot be described to people, it is a state of extreme poverty and most agonizing discomfort. And in this misery they are joined by souls who try to shake them out of their lethargy and first of all show them the agonizing nature of their condition in order to awaken in them the will to do something to improve their situation. The nature of this activity is incomprehensible to people, it is a serving occupation which, however, has no earthly basis but which is adapted to the spiritual kingdom and therefore cannot be explained to people. Nevertheless, it is an activity which requires the soul's will; it is an activity which it can carry out when the will to help is aroused in it. Only the will to help brings about an improvement in the soul's situation and therefore also progress in its spiritual development. However, it is extremely difficult to motivate such weak, lowly souls to make themselves useful in order to help other souls. In most cases these souls are so absorbed in their own suffering that they have no sympathy for the suffering of other souls. They carelessly pass them by, indeed they often inflict suffering on each other, and their nature is unloving towards each other. But then the soul feels even greater agonies, and these increase to the point of unbearability in order to make the soul compliant when the beings of light approach it in their disguise. The resistance is often great, but on the other hand the souls perceive the participation in their adversity as a benefit, even if they are initially hostile; they then do not want to miss the participation and desire it, and this is already a small step forward which the beings of light eagerly utilize. And this work on the immature souls requires much love and patience on the part of the beings of light. But the success is also so gratifying that they constantly endeavour to bring redemption to these poor souls. As soon as the soul has become more compliant, the work of the beings of light can begin on it. They now show it that it worsens its fate through unkindness but can improve it through love. They try to stimulate it to help by showing it the suffering of the other souls and now work towards the soul helping them. They leave the soul's will free so that it should carry out the helping activity of its own accord. And if the soul does this then the ascent also begins for the needy souls, for the other souls also benefit from it because they themselves do to their fellow-suffering souls what is done to them. The redeeming activity in the beyond is an uninterrupted labour of love of inconceivable importance, so that the souls which have failed on earth can still develop upwards in the beyond and enjoy the happiness and bliss of heaven....

Atividade na vida após a morte e oportunidade para o progresso....

Almas cujo grau de maturidade ainda é muito baixo carecem de toda a força no além. Eles experimentam, portanto, tormentos sem nome. Eles estão cientes da força que tinham à sua disposição na Terra. Assim, o seu lote é agravado e eles percebem que são incapazes de melhorar a sua situação. O estado de sofrimento não pode ser descrito às pessoas, é um estado de extrema pobreza e de desconforto mais agonizante. E, nesta adversidade, juntam-se-lhes almas que tentam despertá-los da sua letargia e, primeiro, fazê-los tomar consciência da agonia da sua condição, a fim de despertar neles a vontade de fazer algo para melhorar a sua situação. A natureza desta atividade é incompreensível para as pessoas, é uma ocupação serviçal que, no entanto, não tem base terrena, mas está adaptada ao reino espiritual e, portanto, não pode ser explicada ao ser humano. No entanto, é uma atividade que requer a vontade da alma; é uma atividade que ela pode realizar quando a vontade de ajudar é estimulada nela. Apenas a vontade de ajudar traz uma melhoria na situação da alma e assim também o progresso no seu desenvolvimento espiritual. Contudo, é extremamente difícil estimular almas tão impotentes e humildes, movê-las para se tornarem úteis para ajudar outras almas. A maioria destas almas está tão impregnada do seu próprio sofrimento que não tem compaixão pelo sofrimento de outras almas. Passam-nas descuidadamente, de facto, muitas vezes infligem sofrimento a si próprios, e a sua natureza é pouco amável uns para com os outros. Mas, quanto maior o tormento que a alma sente, maior a intolerabilidade, a fim de torná-la conforme quando os seres de luz se aproximam dela em seu disfarce. A resistência é muitas vezes grande, mas por outro lado as almas sentem a participação em suas adversidades como uma bênção, mesmo que inicialmente sejam negativas; então não querem perder a participação e a desejam, e este já é um pequeno progresso que os seres da luz usam avidamente. E este trabalho sobre as almas imaturas requer muito amor e paciência da parte dos seres de luz. Mas o sucesso também é tão gratificante que eles se esforçam constantemente para levar a redenção a essas pobres almas. Assim que a alma se tornar mais rendida, o trabalho dos seres de luz pode começar. Eles agora apresentam-lhe que ela piora o seu destino através da falta de bondade, mas pode melhorá-la através do amor. Eles tentam encorajá-lo a ajudar, reprovando-o pelo sofrimento das outras almas e agora trabalham para que a alma os ajude. É certo que eles deixam a vontade da alma livre para que ela realize a atividade de ajuda por sua própria vontade. E se a alma faz isso, então começa também a subida para as almas que sofrem, pois as outras almas também se beneficiam com isso, porque elas mesmas fazem aos seus semelhantes que sofrem o que lhes é feito. A atividade redentora no além é uma atividade ininterrupta de amor de significado inconcebível, de modo que as almas que falharam na Terra ainda podem, no entanto, desenvolver-se no além e desfrutar da felicidade e felicidade do céu...._>Amém
