Activity in the afterlife and possibility of ascent....

Souls whose level of maturity is still very low lack all strength in the afterlife. They therefore experience nameless torment. They are aware of the strength they had at their disposal on earth. Their lot is therefore worsened and they realize that they are incapable of improving their situation. The state of suffering cannot be described to people, it is a state of extreme poverty and most agonizing discomfort. And in this misery they are joined by souls who try to shake them out of their lethargy and first of all show them the agonizing nature of their condition in order to awaken in them the will to do something to improve their situation. The nature of this activity is incomprehensible to people, it is a serving occupation which, however, has no earthly basis but which is adapted to the spiritual kingdom and therefore cannot be explained to people. Nevertheless, it is an activity which requires the soul's will; it is an activity which it can carry out when the will to help is aroused in it. Only the will to help brings about an improvement in the soul's situation and therefore also progress in its spiritual development. However, it is extremely difficult to motivate such weak, lowly souls to make themselves useful in order to help other souls. In most cases these souls are so absorbed in their own suffering that they have no sympathy for the suffering of other souls. They carelessly pass them by, indeed they often inflict suffering on each other, and their nature is unloving towards each other. But then the soul feels even greater agonies, and these increase to the point of unbearability in order to make the soul compliant when the beings of light approach it in their disguise. The resistance is often great, but on the other hand the souls perceive the participation in their adversity as a benefit, even if they are initially hostile; they then do not want to miss the participation and desire it, and this is already a small step forward which the beings of light eagerly utilize. And this work on the immature souls requires much love and patience on the part of the beings of light. But the success is also so gratifying that they constantly endeavour to bring redemption to these poor souls. As soon as the soul has become more compliant, the work of the beings of light can begin on it. They now show it that it worsens its fate through unkindness but can improve it through love. They try to stimulate it to help by showing it the suffering of the other souls and now work towards the soul helping them. They leave the soul's will free so that it should carry out the helping activity of its own accord. And if the soul does this then the ascent also begins for the needy souls, for the other souls also benefit from it because they themselves do to their fellow-suffering souls what is done to them. The redeeming activity in the beyond is an uninterrupted labour of love of inconceivable importance, so that the souls which have failed on earth can still develop upwards in the beyond and enjoy the happiness and bliss of heaven....

L’attività nell’aldilà e la possibilità della risalita

Alle anime il cui grado di maturità è ancora molto basso, manca ogni Forza nell’aldilà. Perciò sperimentano indicibili tormenti. Si rendono conto della forza di cui potevano disporre sulla Terra. Quindi la loro sorte è peggiorata e riconoscono che sono incapaci di migliorare la loro situazione. Agli uomini non si può descrivere il loro stato di sofferenza perché è della più estrema penuria e del più tormentoso disagio. Ed in questa miseria si aggiungono loro delle anime che fanno il tentativo di scuoterle dalla loro letargia ed intanto guidano davanti ai loro occhi il tormento del loro stato per risvegliare in loro la volontà di fare qualcosa per il miglioramento della loro situazione. In genere quest’attività è per gli uomini incomprensibile, è una occupazione servente, che però non ha nessun fondamento terreno, ma che è adeguata al Regno spirituale e perciò non può essere spiegata all’uomo. Malgrado ciò, è un’attività che premette la volontà dell’anima; è un’attività che può eseguire se in lei diventa viva la volontà di aiutare. Solo il voler aiutare procura all’anima un miglioramento della sua situazione e con ciò anche un progresso nel suo sviluppo spirituale. Ma è oltremodo difficile stimolare tali anime inermi, basse, di muoverle a rendersi utili, per aiutare altre anime. Queste anime sono quasi sempre così compenetrate dalla propria sofferenza, che non hanno nessuna compassione per la sofferenza delle altre anime. Vi passano oltre indifferenti, anzi sovente si causano ancora sofferenza ed il loro essere è disamorevole reciprocamente. Ma allora l’anima percepisce maggiori tormenti e questi aumentano fino all’insopportabilità per rendere l’anima duttile quando ora gli esseri di Luce le si avvicinano nel loro travestimento. La resistenza è spesso grande, ma d’altra parte le anime sentono la partecipazione nella loro miseria come beneficio, anche se inizialmente sono ancora nel rifiuto; allora però non vogliono fare a meno della partecipazione e la desiderano e questo è già sovente un piccolo progresso che gli esseri di Luce sfruttano con fervore. Questo lavoro su un’anima immatura richiede molto amore e pazienza dagli esseri di Luce. Ma anche il successo rende molto felice che si sforzano in continuazione a portare la liberazione a queste povere anime. Appena l’anima è ora diventata un poco più morbida, il lavoro degli esseri di Luce su di lei può iniziare. Questi ora le fanno comprendere che attraverso il disamore ha peggiorata la sua sorte, attraverso l’amore però la può migliorare. Loro cercano di stimolarla all’attività d’aiuto, mentre le tengono davanti la sofferenza delle altre anime ed ora agiscono affinché l’anima le assista. Lasciano bensì la libertà alla volontà dell’anima, in modo che debba eseguire quest’attività d’aiuto per propria spinta. E se l’anima lo fa, allora inizia anche la risalita per le anime sofferenti la miseria, perché anche le altre anime ne approfittano, perché loro stesse fanno alle anime co-sofferenti ciò che è stata fatto a loro. L’attività salvifica nell’aldilà in un ininterrotto agire nell’amore è di inimmaginabile importanza, affinché le anime che hanno fallito sulla Terra, si possano comunque ancora sviluppare nell’aldilà verso l’Alto per poter gustare la felicità e la Beatitudine del Cielo.
