Neighbourly love corresponds to the original state of being....

Active neighbourly love is no longer practiced by people because everyone only strives for their own well-being, i.e. selfish love is too strongly developed. This attitude of people is contrary to the original nature and the original purpose, for the being emerged from love and its activity should be an act of love.... it emerged from the all-encompassing love of God and should radiate love again.... Human love, however, is small and narrowly limited, it only extends to one's own body, it is therefore not blissful but only demanding.... It is not giving, but always demanding, and it will never be equal to divine love. Active neighbourly love corresponds more to the original state and the original determination of the being, and therefore only through it can the being free itself from self-love and come closer to the original state again. It is selfless and only wants to please, and consequently it must be of divine origin, that is, it must flow from a heart that feels connected to God and can therefore receive God's emanation of love. Divine love constantly distributes, just as active neighbourly love is a constant distribution of what the person himself possesses or receives. Self-love, on the other hand, does not give but takes everything for itself, it does not make happy and is in no way divine, but rather proves that it belongs to the one who rejects divine love and has fallen prey to unkindness. In His immense love God created human beings in order to restore the beingness to its original state, in order to give it back what it had once lost because His love constantly wants to give and the hapless state does not correspond to His feeling of love. However, the beingness can only receive His emanation of love again and therefore only be in a happy state when it has shaped itself into love, when it distributes love itself in complete unselfishness. Only then will its feelings, thoughts and actions correspond to its original state, which was a state of deepest and purest love and the being was therefore similar to God and could be close to Him. But this state should also make the being happy again, for it is the final goal of all beingness that emerged from God, and it can only be achieved if the human being practices love, if he unselfishly distributes to his fellow human being what he himself possesses and what he himself deems desirable. For giving love is divine, and thus it must also mould the giver into a divine being, it must stimulate the heart to ever more eager loving activity and reduce the distance from God ever more.... The loving person must find union with God through his activity of love and be seized by divine love, which radiates through him more and more until the being has completely become love, until it is again what it originally was.... a spiritual being that has emerged from divine love, that is in the closest union with God, that can work and create like Him....

L’amore per il prossimo corrisponde allo stato primordiale dell’essenziale

L’attivo amore per il prossimo non viene più esercitato dagli uomini, perché ognuno tende solo al proprio benessere, quindi l’amore dell’io si è fortemente sviluppato. Questa predisposizione degli uomini è contraria alla costituzione e destinazione primordiali, perché l’essere è proceduto dall’Amore e la sua attività dovrebbe essere un agire nell’amore, è sorto dall’Amore di Dio che abbraccia tutto e dovrebbe di nuovo irradiare amore. L’amore umano però è piccolo e strettamente limitato, si estende solo al proprio corpo, quindi non rende felice, ma pretende. Non dà, ma esige sempre e non sarà mai uguale all’Amore divino. L’amore attivo per il prossimo corrisponde di più allo stato ed alla destinazione primordiali dell’essenziale e perciò solo attraverso queste l’essere si può liberare dall’amore dell’io ed avvicinarsi di nuovo allo stato primordiale. E’ altruistico e vuole solo rendere felice e di conseguenza dev’essere di Origine divina, quindi defluire da un cuore che si sente unito con Dio e da ciò può ricevere l’Irradiazione d’Amore di Dio. L’Amore divino elargisce sempre appena anche l’amore attivo per il prossimo è un costante distribuire di ciò che l’uomo stesso possiede o riceve. L’amore dell’io invece non dà, ma approfitta di tutto per sé stesso, non rende felice e non è da chiamare in nessun modo divino, ma dimostra ancora l’appartenenza a colui che ha respinto l’Amore divino ed è caduto nel disamore. Dio nel Suo ultragrande Amore ha creato gli uomini per mettere l’essenziale di nuovo nello stato primordiale, per dargli di nuovo ciò che si è una volta giocato, perché il Suo Amore vuole costantemente dare e lo stato infelice non corrisponde al Suo Sentimento d’Amore. Ma l’essenziale può ricevere di nuovo solamente la Sua Irradiazione d’Amore e quindi essere in uno stato felice, se esso stesso si è formato nell’amore, se esso stesso distribuisce amore nell’assoluto disinteresse. Solo allora il suo sentimento, il suo pensare ed agire corrispondono al suo stato primordiale, che era profondissimo e purissimo amore e perciò l’essere era simile a Dio e si poteva avvicinare a Lui. Ma questo stato deve di nuovo rendere felice l’essere, perché è la meta finale di tutto l’essenziale proceduto da Dio e può essere raggiunto soltanto se l’uomo si esercita nell’amore, se distribuisce disinteressatamente al prossimo ciò che lui stesso possiede e che a lui stesso sembra desiderabile. Perché l’amore donante è divino e così deve anche formare il donatore in un essere divino, deve stimolare all’attività d’amore sempre più fervente e diminuire sempre di più la distanza da Dio. L’uomo attivo nell’amore deve trovare l’unificazione con Dio attraverso il suo agire nell’amore ed essere afferrato dall’Amore divino che risplende sempre di più attraverso di lui, finché l’essere non è diventato totalmente amore, finché non è di nuovo ciò che era primordialmente, dello spirituale proceduto dall’Amore divino che sta in strettissima unione con Dio, che può agire e creare come Lui.
