Strong or weakened will to receive.... love for God....

Consciously immersing oneself in a spiritual state requires increased willpower and must therefore be practiced constantly and continuously, which is why the human being should not desist from it in order not to become lukewarm and incapable for a task that requires such immersion. Man must practice switching off all thoughts if he wants to hear the subtle voice within himself; and furthermore he must listen attentively inwards. The spirit of God is always ready to offer divine gifts, but the soul is not always able to receive what is offered to it. And as soon as the soul does not open itself completely, the spirit cannot impart the divine gift to it, or the soul only hears unclearly and not quite understandably what the spirit wants to tell it from God. However, the spirit is willing and has precious gifts to hand out, which is why the soul should make use of every opportunity to receive precious gifts. For this means spiritual wealth for the soul, which is everlasting. There are no limits for the receiving earthly child if only the human being's will is so strong that he completely detaches himself from the earthly world. As soon as he succeeds in this, the spirit from God can already express itself and now instruct the human being. Listening inwards requires the greatest self-conquest, for all thinking must be eliminated so that only spiritual good can be channelled from the heart to the brain. And this grace is the result of a right way of life before God and of increased activity of love, and therefore the more actively a person practices neighbourly love the easier he will be able to switch off his thoughts. The clearer and more comprehensible the thoughts will flow to him until the human being reaches the state without effort where the thoughts flow to him unstoppably and without pause and can likewise be returned, for then the working of the spirit will be so strong that it will inevitably result in rich knowledge for the human being. But before that the human being still has to struggle and pray very much, and indeed the more the more difficult it is for him to enter into intimate contact with God and His beings in the beyond. Through heartfelt prayer he can request the strength from God which he needs for his soul so that it can hear the voice of the spirit within itself and thus receive the divine gift....

받으려는 강한 의지나 약한 의지. 하나님을 향한 사랑.

영적 상태에 의식적으로 몰입하는 일은 증가된 의지력이 필요하다. 그러므로 항상 지속적으로 연습을 해야만 한다. 그러므로 그런 몰입에 필요한 과제를 수행하는 일에 미지근해지거나, 수행할 수 없게 되지 않기 위해 연습을 중단해서는 안 된다. 사람이 자신 안의 섬세한 음성을 듣기 원하면, 그는 모든 생각을 물리치는 연습을 해야만 한다. 더 나아가 그는 내면에 귀를 기울여야 한다. 하나님의 영은 항상 하나님의 선물을 줄 준비가 되어 있다. 그러나 혼이 자신에게 주어진 것을 항상 받아드릴 능력이 있는 것이 아니다. 혼이 자신을 완전히 열지 않으면, 영이 하나님의 선물을 전달하지 못하거나, 혼이 단지 막연하게 듣고, 하나님의 영이 전하기 원하는 것을 제대로 이해할 수 없다.

그러나 영은 주기를 원한다. 영은 귀중한 재물을 분배해야만 한다. 그러므로 혼은 귀중한 선물을 받기 위해 모든 가능성을 사용해야 한다. 왜냐면 귀한 선물은 혼에게 불멸하는 영적인 부를 의미하기 때문이다. 인간의 의지가 아주 강해서 세상으로부터 완전히 자유롭게 된다면, 받는 이 땅의 자녀에게 제한이 없다. 그가 세상으로부터 자유롭게 되는 일에 성공한다면, 하나님의 영이 이미 자신을 표현할 수 있고, 이제 사람을 가르칠 수 있다.

내면의 음성을 들으려면, 가장 크게 자신을 극복하는 일이 필요하다. 왜냐하면 단지 영적인 내용이 심장에서 뇌로 전달될 수 있기 위해, 모든 생각을 물리쳐야만 하기 때문이다. 이런 은혜는 하나님 앞에서 올바른 삶의 방식과 증가된 사랑을 행하는 역사의 결과이다. 그러므로 사람이 이웃 사랑을 더 많이 행할수록, 자신의 생각을 물리치는 일이 더 쉬워질 것이다. 그럴수록 더 명확하고 이해하기 쉬운 생각이, 사람이 노력하지 않고, 생각이 멈추지 않고, 중단 없이 흘러가는, 마찬가지로 이 생각을 다시 재현할 수 있는 상태에 도달할 때까지, 그에게 흘러 갈 것이다. 왜냐면 그러면 영의 역사가 아주 강해서, 피할 수 없게 사람에게 올바른 지식을 줘야만 하기 때문이다.

그러나 그 전에 인간은 아직 많은 투쟁을 해야만 하고, 기도를 해야만 한다. 그러나 그가 하나님과 저세상의 하나님의 존재들과 긴밀한 접촉을 하기가 어려울수록, 더 많이 기도를 해야만 한다. 그는 긴밀한 기도를 통해 자신의 혼이 자신 안에서 영의 음성을 듣고, 하나님의 선물을 받을 수 있기 위해 필요한 하나님으로부터 오는 힘을 하나님께 구할 수 있다.
