Strong or weakened will to receive.... love for God....

Consciously immersing oneself in a spiritual state requires increased willpower and must therefore be practiced constantly and continuously, which is why the human being should not desist from it in order not to become lukewarm and incapable for a task that requires such immersion. Man must practice switching off all thoughts if he wants to hear the subtle voice within himself; and furthermore he must listen attentively inwards. The spirit of God is always ready to offer divine gifts, but the soul is not always able to receive what is offered to it. And as soon as the soul does not open itself completely, the spirit cannot impart the divine gift to it, or the soul only hears unclearly and not quite understandably what the spirit wants to tell it from God. However, the spirit is willing and has precious gifts to hand out, which is why the soul should make use of every opportunity to receive precious gifts. For this means spiritual wealth for the soul, which is everlasting. There are no limits for the receiving earthly child if only the human being's will is so strong that he completely detaches himself from the earthly world. As soon as he succeeds in this, the spirit from God can already express itself and now instruct the human being. Listening inwards requires the greatest self-conquest, for all thinking must be eliminated so that only spiritual good can be channelled from the heart to the brain. And this grace is the result of a right way of life before God and of increased activity of love, and therefore the more actively a person practices neighbourly love the easier he will be able to switch off his thoughts. The clearer and more comprehensible the thoughts will flow to him until the human being reaches the state without effort where the thoughts flow to him unstoppably and without pause and can likewise be returned, for then the working of the spirit will be so strong that it will inevitably result in rich knowledge for the human being. But before that the human being still has to struggle and pray very much, and indeed the more the more difficult it is for him to enter into intimate contact with God and His beings in the beyond. Through heartfelt prayer he can request the strength from God which he needs for his soul so that it can hear the voice of the spirit within itself and thus receive the divine gift....

La volontà forte o debole per ricevere - L’amore per Dio

Il cosciente immergersi in uno stato spirituale richiede una aumentata forza di volontà e perciò dev’essere esercitata sempre e continuamente, per cui l’uomo non deve mai lasciarlo diventare tiepido ed incapace per un compito che richiede un tale immergersi. L’uomo si deve esercitare nell’esclusione di ogni pensiero, se vuole sentire in sé la voce delicata; ed inoltre deve ascoltare nell’interiore con attenzione. Lo spirito da Dio è sempre pronto ad offrire il Dono divino, ma l’anima non è sempre in grado di accogliere ciò che le viene offerto. E se l’anima non si apre totalmente, lo spirito non le può trasmettere il Dono divino, oppure l’anima sente solo in modo confuso e per lei non bene comprensibile ciò che lo spirito da Dio le vuole comunicare. Ma lo spirito vuole dare ed ha un bene prezioso da distribuire, per cui l’anima dovrebbe utilizzare ogni possibilità per ricevere questo Dono prezioso, perché questo significa per l’anima una ricchezza spirituale che è imperitura. Al figlio terreno che riceve non sono posti limiti, se soltanto la volontà dell’uomo è così forte da staccarsi totalmente dal mondo terreno. Appena gli riesce questo, lo spirito da Dio si può già manifestare ed ora istruire l’uomo. L’ascolto nell’interiore richiede il più grande auto superamento, perché dev’essere escluso il pensare, affinché possa essere condotto solo del bene spirituale dal cuore al cervello. E questo Dono è la conseguenza del giusto cammino di vita dinanzi a Dio e dell’aumentato agire d’amore, e perciò più l’uomo esercita attivamente l’amore per il prossimo, più facilmente potrà escludere i suoi pensieri. Questi gli affluiscono più chiari e comprensibili finché l’uomo raggiunge senza sforzo lo stato in cui gli affluiscono i pensieri ininterrottamente e senza intervallo e li potrà anche dare oltre, perché allora l’agire dello spirito è così forte che deve procurare all’uomo inevitabilmente un ricco sapere. Ma dapprima l’uomo deve ancora molto lottare e pregare e questo ancora di più, più gli è difficile entrare in intimo contatto con Dio ed i Suoi esseri nell’aldilà. Attraverso l’intima preghiera può richiedere a Dio la Forza che gli serve per la sua anima, affinché senta la voce dello spirito in sé e quindi possa ricevere il Dono divino.
