Final liberation or bound state in eternity....

Complete detachment from the form also requires complete abandonment of the resistance against God, for even if the soul apparently loses every external constraint at the death of the body at the end of its life, it nevertheless does not need to be finally released from its constraint, for it can take the awareness of its bound state with it into eternity, which signifies precisely that state of torment for it. The environment of the soul is then still the same as on earth, i.e., once it stays where it has stayed on earth because it is still bound to earthly matter with all its senses; but then it will always create its environment itself according to its desire. It can therefore still be completely surrounded by earthly matter, even if only in its imagination, is therefore still subject to earthly laws according to its feelings, i.e., it has the same desire, the same cravings as on earth, but also the same resistance to overcome, so that it recognizes its powerlessness and constraint as on earth, while the completely free state is also a state of fulfilment, where no more obstacles are set against the being and it feels this spiritual freedom extremely blissfully. The soul has certainly cast off the physical shackle with the bodily death, but it does not yet have the awareness of its freedom until it has reached the degree of maturity which earns it spiritual freedom. And therefore it often does not know about its passing away from earth. It believes itself to still be in its body and it often takes a long time before it realizes it, depending on its willingness to serve.... which, however, is only very weak, for mostly such souls are only seized by selfish love and seek satisfaction of their desires for themselves. But since they never find such, it begins to dawn on them after a long time that in reality they no longer possess anything and only ever strive for illusory possessions, and only then does the process of complete detachment from earthly matter begin, although this is still very protracted. And only the detachment from matter, the overcoming of it and the complete mental detachment loosens the shell of the soul and signifies the beginning of its final liberation from form. However, an unthinkably long time can pass before the being can enjoy the freedom of the spirit....

Endgültige Freiwerdung oder gebundener Zustand in der Ewigkeit....

Völliges Lösen aus der Form bedingt auch völliges Aufgeben des Widerstandes gegen Gott, denn wenn auch scheinbar die Seele jede Außenfessel verliert bei dem Leibestod am Ende ihres Lebens, so braucht sie doch nicht ihrer Fessel endgültig ledig werden, denn sie kann das Bewußtsein ihres gebundenen Zustandes mit hinübernehmen in die Ewigkeit, was eben jenen Zustand der Qual für sie bedeutet. Die Umgebung der Seele ist dann noch die gleiche wie auf Erden, d.h., einmal hält sie sich dort auf, wo sie auf Erden geweilt hat, weil sie noch mit allen ihren Sinnen an die irdische Materie gefesselt ist; dann aber wird sie stets sich selbst ihre Umgebung schaffen je nach ihrem Begehren. Sie kann sonach noch völlig von irdischer Materie umgeben sein, wenn auch nur in ihrer Einbildung, unterliegt also noch empfindungsgemäß irdischen Gesetzen, d.h., sie hat das gleiche Verlangen, die gleichen Begierden wie auf Erden, aber auch die gleichen Widerstände zu überwinden, so daß sie wie auf Erden ihre Ohnmacht und Gebundenheit erkennt, während der ganz freie Zustand auch ein Zustand der Erfüllung ist, wo dem Wesen keine Hindernisse mehr entgegengesetzt werden und es diese geistige Freiheit äußerst beglückend empfindet. Die körperliche Fessel hat die Seele wohl abgestreift mit dem leiblichen Tode, doch das Bewußtsein ihrer Freiheit hat sie noch nicht, bevor sie nicht den Reifegrad erreicht hat, der ihr die geistige Freiheit einträgt. Und daher weiß sie oft nicht um ihr Ableben von der Erde. Sie wähnt sich noch in ihrem Körper, und es dauert oft lange Zeit, bis sie es erkennt, je nach ihrer Willigkeit zu dienen.... die jedoch nur sehr schwach ist, denn zumeist sind solche Seelen nur von der Ichliebe ergriffen und suchen für sich selbst Befriedigung ihrer Wünsche. Doch da sie solche niemals finden, beginnt es nach langer Zeit in ihnen zu dämmern, daß sie in Wirklichkeit nichts mehr besitzen und nur immer Scheingüter anstreben, und dann erst setzt der Prozeß ein des völligen Lösens von der irdischen Materie, der aber noch sehr langwierig ist. Und erst das Lösen von der Materie, das Überwinden derer und Gedanklich-sich-völlig-Entäußern lockert die Hülle der Seele und bedeutet den Beginn ihrer endgültigen Freiwerdung aus der Form. Doch es können undenklich lange Zeiten vergehen, ehe das Wesen sich der Freiheit des Geistes erfreuen kann....
