Bridging the gap between man and God....

The gulf between man and God is unbridgeable as long as he himself does not make an effort to come closer to Him. The distance cannot be reduced if the human being is not aware of it. However, he neither feels connected to God nor distant from Him because he does not recognize the connection between the creator and His creatures, and consequently he does nothing to change a state which is contrary to God.... He feels no separation from God because he does not believe himself to be originally united with Him. And this ignorant state is so extremely detrimental to the human being's soul. For it does not strive to escape it, but feels at ease in it. And the gulf does not narrow but rather widens because the human being, who does not feel connected to God, does not lead a life of love either and therefore does not attain knowledge. And he rejects all advice, he ridicules and mocks it and does not do the slightest to bridge the gap. And therefore salvation can hardly be brought to these people, for they reject divine words spoken through human mouths; they do not pay attention to the events around them or do not attach the significance to them which it has; consequently, they remain behind in their spiritual development. For God must inevitably work in them with His strength, but this is completely impossible where the will and the desire for God do not form a bridge to Him. These people will certainly complete their earthly life but will not be able to demonstrate spiritual success, for their life will be completely separate from God, turned towards the world and without any spiritual endeavour. And at the end of their earthly life they are still just as distant from God as they were at the beginning of their embodiment on earth as a human being. God tries to remedy this state by seemingly isolating Himself completely, i.e., He leaves people in their self-chosen darkness and does not express Himself until they expect a sign from Him as proof of His existence.... And then He sends them this sign, but in a way that is not very satisfying for them.... He proves His power to people but otherwise leaves them untouched so as not to restrict their free will. And the human being must try to connect himself with the power which he did not want to recognize. Only then will he build a bridge across the gulf and only then can God Himself show Himself to him, give him strength and grace and help him to ascend....

Jeter un pont sur le gouffre entre l'homme et Dieu

Le gouffre entre l'homme et Dieu est infranchissable tant que l’homme ne fait rien pour s'approcher de Lui. La distance ne peut pas être diminuée si l'homme ne s'en rend pas compte. Car il ne se sent ni uni avec Dieu, ni tenu à l'écart de Lui, parce qu'il ne reconnaît pas la liaison du Créateur avec Ses créatures et il ne fait rien pour changer un état qui est tourné contre Dieu. Il ne perçoit aucune séparation de Dieu, parce qu'il ne se croit pas avoir été primordialement uni avec Lui. Et cet état ignorant est outre mesure désavantageux pour l'âme de l'homme parce qu'il n'aspire pas à lui échapper, mais il s’y sent bien. Et le gouffre ne diminue pas, mais il s'agrandit plutôt, parce que l'homme qui ne se sent pas uni avec Dieu, ne mène pas une vie d'amour et donc n'arrive pas au savoir. Et il refuse toutes les indications, il s’en moque et les raille et il n’a pas la moindre envie de jeter un pont sur le gouffre. Donc à ces hommes il peut difficilement être apporté le salut, parce qu'ils refusent les Paroles divines prononcées de la bouche d’homme ; ils ne s'occupent pas des événements autour d’eux ou bien ils ne leur attribuent pas l'importance qu’ils ont ; par conséquent ils restent en arrière dans leur développement spirituel, parce que Dieu doit inévitablement agir sur eux avec Sa Force, mais cela est entièrement exclu là où la volonté et le désir pour Dieu ne forment pas un pont vers Lui. Ces hommes parcourront certes la vie terrestre, mais ils ne pourront montrer aucun succès spirituel, parce que leur vie est totalement séparée de Dieu, elle est tournée vers le monde et sans aucune tendance spirituelle. Et à la fin de leur vie ils sont encore précisément ainsi loin de Dieu qu’ils l'étaient au début de leur incorporation sur la Terre comme homme. Dieu cherche à suspendre cet état en les isolant entièrement en apparence, c'est-à-dire qu’il laisse les hommes dans leur obscurité choisie par eux et Il ne se manifeste pas, tant qu’ils ne désirent pas un Signe de Lui comme preuve de Son Existence. Et alors Il leur envoie ce Signe, mais d’une manière qui les satisfait peu. Il montre aux hommes Sa Puissance, mais Il les laisse intacts pour ne pas limiter leur libre volonté. Et l'homme doit chercher à s'unir avec la Puissance qu’il ne voulait pas reconnaître. Seulement alors il a jeté un pont sur le gouffre et seulement alors Dieu Lui-Même peut Se montrer, lui transmettre Sa Force et Sa Grâce et l'aider à remonter.
