Weakened will and overcoming it....

The human will is not always resistant to the temptations of the power hostile to God, even if it does not recognize them, and this is usually the case when worldly life pushes itself too much into the foreground. Then, to a certain extent, the world with its charms captivates the will and its power of resistance diminishes, even though it fights against it. And the enemy lies in wait for such moments in order to prevent the strengthening of the will through small temptations and to turn to it through the desire for the world. And if a person is not very careful, he falls prey to these temptations and the enemy has won the game. But if a person wrestles with this weakness of will, he will also have great spiritual success as soon as he overcomes the world and seeks to serve God. Then he will also be given strength and can now use his will for the honour of God.... Jesus Christ is to be called upon in every weakness of will, so that He transmits the strength directly to the person, and now the person can be active and he will become master of the temptations. Every weakness of will means decline or standstill, but overcome weakness of will means a victory over oneself. Man must indeed fight, but it is about a high reward.... He knows about the success of a properly utilized will as well as about the failure, and therefore he offers all his strength and requests such through prayer in order not to fail in his last test of earthly life. And these struggles have to be in order to be an antidote against lukewarmness and indifference, for where the human being is in danger he becomes vigilant and looks after himself, and where the will threatens to fail he has to be stimulated to resist, and this through all kinds of adversities which have to be overcome and therefore require the will to become active. But God knows about the innermost will and directs everything in a way that is most beneficial for the human being....

La volonté affaiblie et son dépassement

La volonté humaine n'est pas toujours capable de résister aux agressions du pouvoir ennemi de Dieu, bien qu’il ne les reconnaisse pas et cela est presque toujours le cas, lorsque la vie mondaine se pousse trop à l'avant-scène. Alors le monde avec ses charmes capture d’une certaine manière la volonté, et sa force de résistance cède, bien qu’elle les combatte. Et l'ennemi est en guet-apens pour de tels instants, pour empêcher avec de petites tentations la fortification de la volonté et la tourner vers lui au travers des désirs pour le monde. Et si l'homme n'est pas très sur ses gardes, il tombe dans ces tentations et l'ennemi a gagné la partie. Mais si l'homme lutte avec cette faiblesse de volonté, alors il gagne un grand succès spirituel dès qu'il vainc le monde et cherche à servir Dieu. Alors il est pourvu avec la Force et maintenant il peut employer sa volonté pour donner l'honneur à Dieu. Dans chaque faiblesse de volonté Jésus Christ doit être invoqué pour qu'Il transmette directement la Force à l'homme et maintenant celui-ci peut être actif et il pourra devenir maitre des agressions. Chaque faiblesse de volonté signifie une rétrogradation ou bien un arrêt, mais avoir dépassée la faiblesse de la volonté signifie une victoire sur lui-même. L'homme doit certes combattre, mais la récompense est élevée. Il connait le succès d'une volonté bien employée comme d’une faillite, et donc il emploie toute sa force et il la demande à travers la prière pour ne pas échouer dans la dernière épreuve de sa vie terrestre. Et ces luttes doivent exister pour être un antidote contre la tiédeur et l'indifférence, parce que là où l'homme est en danger il devient vigilant et s’occupe de lui, et là où la volonté menace d'échouer, là il doit être stimulé à la résistance et cela à travers les différentes adversités qui doivent être dépassées et donc il est nécessaire que la volonté devienne active. Mais Dieu connait la volonté intime et la guide comme il est le plus utile pour l'homme.
