Different schools of thought.... truth depending on the degree of love....

There is a grain of truth hidden in every school of thought, provided that it has the pursuit of God as a condition. But the reason why the different schools of thought do not agree is that they are mostly based on intellectual thinking. And people's thinking does not always follow the same path because people's degree of love is different. And thus God is closer to one person than to another as soon as he unites with God in the activity of love, and consequently this person will also be closer to the truth, since God Himself is the truth. But where love becomes weaker the intellectual thinking can still be so well developed, it will still deviate from the truth, and the result of the thinking is different from that of the first. And so it is understandable that not all views agree, even if they touch on the same problem, i.e. relate to the nature of the eternal deity and Its reign and activity. Yet seeking and researching in this area is pleasing to God and He will never close Himself off to such seekers. He will give them according to their worthiness and their desire for truth. The one who searches with human intellect does not live so much in the spiritual world. He tries to build up a structure from existing writings and traditions, so he takes a grain of truth with him into his work and then builds on it, but he is without inner enlightenment, without inner connection with God, and therefore he will never be able to see clearly and brightly and will always grope in the dark, although he represents his views as truth. But if the human being is in love then he is connected to God, he will receive His strength and strength is light.... He will know the truth, for his spirit will instruct him and then he will be unable to think other than the truth. And a spiritual direction created and gained in this way fully corresponds to the truth. If such an enlightened person succeeds in persuading the representative of another school of thought to walk rightly before God, so that the latter first puts himself into an elevated state of love, then he will not take offence at the former's teachings. He will drop his views and join those which were gained under the right conditions, for then he will recognize them as truth, because the activity of love will always result in the truth and the recognition of it. This is understandable because God is in him and where God is, all darkness will also disappear. And therefore the human being will always follow the spiritual direction which arose under the same preconditions which also establish his nature. Increased activity of love must result in true thinking. But where this is deficient, there the human being stands in wrong thinking. Yet the will to solve eternal problems finds God's approval and is therefore rewarded with truth as far as this is permissible, i.e. in accordance with the degree of love....

Verschiedene Geistesrichtungen.... Wahrheit abhängig vom Liebegrad....

In jeder Geistesrichtung ist ein Körnchen Wahrheit verborgen, vorausgesetzt, daß sie das Streben nach Gott als Bedingung hat. Daß aber die verschiedenen Geistesrichtungen nicht übereinstimmen, liegt daran, daß sie zumeist auf Verstandesdenken aufgebaut sind. Und das Denken der Menschen geht nicht immer gleiche Wege, weil der Liebesgrad der Menschen verschieden ist. Und so ist Gott dem einen Menschen näher als dem anderen, sowie er sich im Liebeswirken mit Gott zusammenschließt, und folglich wird dieser Mensch auch näher der Wahrheit sein, da Gott Selbst die Wahrheit ist. Wo aber die Liebe schwächer wird, kann das Verstandesdenken noch so gut ausgebildet sein, es wird doch von der Wahrheit abweichen, und das Ergebnis des Denkens ist von dem des ersten verschieden. Und also ist es verständlich, daß nicht alle Anschauungen übereinstimmen, wenngleich sie dasselbe Problem berühren, also sich auf das Wesen der ewigen Gottheit und Ihr Walten und Wirken beziehen. Doch das Suchen und Forschen auf diesem Gebiete ist Gott wohlgefällig, und Er wird Sich niemals solchen Suchenden verschließen. Er wird ihnen geben je nach Würdigkeit und ihrem Wahrheitsverlangen. Der mit menschlichem Verstand-Forschende lebt nicht so sehr in der geistigen Welt. Er sucht aus bestehenden Schriften und Überlieferungen sich ein Gebäude aufzubauen, er nimmt also gleichsam ein Körnchen Wahrheit mit herüber in sein Werk und baut nun darauf auf, doch er ist ohne innere Erleuchtung, ohne innere Verbindung mit Gott, und deshalb wird er nie klar und hell schauen können und immer im dunkeln tappen, wenngleich er seine Ansichten als Wahrheit vertritt. Steht aber der Mensch in der Liebe, dann ist er mit Gott verbunden, er wird Seine Kraft empfangen, und Kraft ist Licht.... Er wird wissen um die Wahrheit, denn sein Geist belehret ihn, und dann kann er nicht anders als wahr denken. Und eine so entstandene und gewonnene Geistesrichtung entspricht der Wahrheit voll und ganz. Wenn es nun einem solchen erleuchteten Menschen gelingt, den Vertreter einer anderen Geistesrichtung zum rechten Wandel vor Gott zu bewegen, so daß dieser zuerst sich in einen erhöhten Liebesgrad versetzt, dann wird er keinen Anstoß nehmen an des ersteren Lehren. Er wird seine Ansichten fallenlassen und sich denen anschließen, die unter den rechten Voraussetzungen gewonnen wurden, denn dann erkennt er diese als Wahrheit, weil die Liebetätigkeit immer die Wahrheit und das Erkennen derer zur Folge haben wird. Es ist dies verständlich, denn in ihm ist Gott, und wo Gott ist, wird auch jede Dunkelheit schwinden. Und darum wird sich der Mensch immer der Geistesrichtung anschließen, die unter den gleichen Voraussetzungen entstanden ist, die auch seine Wesensart begründen. Erhöhte Liebetätigkeit muß wahres Denken zeitigen. Wo diese aber mangelhaft ist, dort steht der Mensch im falschen Denken. Doch der Wille, Ewigkeitsprobleme zu lösen, findet die Zustimmung Gottes und wird daher mit Wahrheit gelohnt, soweit dies zulässig, also dem Liebegrad entsprechend ist....
