Spiritual good - own knowledge.... battle of light with darkness....

The battle of light and darkness will also come to light where spiritual endeavour is present, for the power of darkness tries to prevent all brightness of spirit, it tries to confuse human thinking and thus make the activity of the beings of light more difficult. The beings of light can only be effectively active where the human being allows himself to be guided believingly and humbly, i.e. where no will of his own weakens this activity. The latter is the case when the human being believes he already has knowledge before the spiritual forces are able to begin their work on him...., i.e. when the spirit's work encounters a certain resistance because the human being is not prepared to surrender the knowledge he has previously gained. He then tries to find a connection intellectually and there are then two directions fighting with each other for supremacy. Then the power of darkness will use all means to cloud the human being's intellect and complete clarity can then hardly be given to him. The wisdom from God can be accepted without hesitation, and it is also offered clearly and comprehensibly enough as long as the human being only listens to this voice, i.e. does not try to combine human wisdom with it. The person who wants to attain full wisdom must be faithful and humble.... He must accept without doubt what is offered to him and yet persevere in the deepest humility. He must not arrogantly consider himself so perfect that he can also solve any problem intellectually if it has not yet been solved for him spiritually. This is an anticipation of the working of the spirit, which can also switch off the latter, i.e. make it impossible. The human being must again and again submit himself to the lord in deep humility, he must ask for His gift of grace and let God alone speak, he must refrain from any opinion of his own and he must separate the spiritual good gained through the divine working of the spirit from the results gained through intellectual pondering....

Il patrimonio spirituale - Il proprio sapere - La lotta della Luce con l’oscurità

La lotta della Luce e dell’oscurità si manifesterà anche là dove esiste il tendere spirituale, perché il potere dell’oscurità cerca di minare ogni illuminazione dello spirito, cerca di confondere il pensare umano e quindi rendere difficile l’attività agli esseri della Luce. Gli esseri di Luce possono essere efficacemente attivi solo dove l’uomo si lascia guidare credente ed umile, dove quindi nessuna propria volontà indebolisce questo agire. Quest’ultimo è poi il caso, quando l’uomo crede di stare già nel sapere prima che le Forze spirituali potevano iniziare il loro lavoro, quando l’agire dello spirito urta quindi contro una resistenza, perché l’uomo non è disposto a rinunciare al sapere conquistato prima. Allora cerca di trovare intellettualmente un collegamento e poi ci sono due direzioni che si contendono reciprocamente per la supremazia. Allora il potere dell’oscurità impiegherà tutti i mezzi per offuscare l’intelletto dell’uomo ed allora difficilmente gli può essere data definitiva chiarezza. La Sapienza da Dio può essere tranquillamente accettata e viene anche offerta abbastanza chiara e comprensibile, appena l’uomo ascolta solo questa Voce, cioè non cerca di collegarvi nessuna sapienza umana. L’uomo che vuole arrivare alla piena Sapienza, dev’essere credente ed umile. Deve accettare senza dubbio ciò che gli viene offerto e rimanere comunque nella più profonda umiltà. Non si deve considerare con spirito arrogante così perfetto da poter risolvere ogni problema anche intellettualmente, se non è stato ancora risolto sulla via spirituale. Questo è un anticipare dell’agire dello spirito che esclude quest’ultimo, cioè lo può rendere impossibile. L’uomo si deve sempre di nuovo sottomettere al Signore nella profonda umiltà, deve chiedere il Dono della Sua Grazia e lasciar parlare Dio soltanto, deve astenersi da ogni propria opinione e separare il patrimonio spirituale conquistato attraverso l’agire divino dello spirito dai risultati conquistati attraverso lo scervellarsi intellettuale.
