Audible word.... earth task.... precondition....

The person who has become love already feels the closeness of God on earth. It is a solemn act of blissful contemplation when God speaks to him and he hears His word resounding within him. Then he knows that God is in him and his heart is filled with ardent love for Him. He now no longer belongs to the earthly world, as in a dream he walks on earth, only longing for the moment when his earthly life is over so that he can unite with divine love for ever. But as long as the human being still belongs to earth he must also remain able to fulfil his earthly task. As soon as he is united with God, however, he is far removed from earth and therefore also unable to fulfil earthly activity. And therefore this state of immersion is only temporary and only lasts until God's voice has faded away. God announces His will to the human being and the knowledge of it remains with him even when he is in full possession of his earthly strength. And now he can fulfil his earthly task with increased strength, which mostly only consists of imparting what he has received from God to his fellow human beings. And the human being fulfils this task with great zeal and conscientiously carries out what he has been instructed to do.... And that is why receiving the sounding word is an immense blessing for people, for the love that God bestows on His child on earth is also communicated to those people who, as it were, become co-recipients of the divine word through the eager activity of the former. Hearing God's word audibly is only possible if the earthly child completely surrenders itself to God, if it unconditionally abandons itself to Him, completely subordinates itself to His will and always and constantly asks God for His grace.... if it shapes itself into love, i.e. if it testifies to God's love for it in works of unselfish neighbourly love, if it thus makes its heart receptive through its activity of love so that God can enter such a shaped heart.... And the human being will sense God's presence and thus he must also hear His word, for God is the word and wherever God is His word will also be heard, the sign of His infinite love for people whom He wants to make happy through His word....

Hörbares Wort.... Erdenaufgabe.... Vorbedingung....

Der zur Liebe gewordene Mensch empfindet die Nähe Gottes schon auf Erden. Es ist ein weihevoller Akt seliger Versunkenheit, so Gott zu ihm spricht und er Sein Wort tönend in sich vernimmt. Dann weiß er, daß Gott in ihm ist, und sein Herz ist erfüllt von heißer Liebe zu Ihm. Der irdischen Welt gehört er nun nicht mehr an, wie im Traum wandelt er auf der Erde, nur den Moment herbeisehnend, da sein Erdenleben beendet ist, auf daß er sich mit der göttlichen Liebe verbinden kann auf ewig. Solange aber der Mensch noch der Erde angehört, muß er auch fähig bleiben, die ihm gestellte Erdenaufgabe zu erfüllen. Sowie er aber mit Gott vereinigt ist, ist er von der Erde weit entfernt, und er vermag daher auch nicht die irdische Tätigkeit auszuführen. Und deshalb ist dieser Zustand der Versunkenheit nur ein vorübergehender, und er hält nur so lange an, bis die Stimme Gottes verklungen ist. Es gibt Gott dem Menschen Seinen Willen kund, und das Wissen darum bleibt ihm, auch wenn er im Vollbesitz seiner irdischen Kraft ist. Und nun kann er mit erhöhter Kraft seine Erdenaufgabe erfüllen, die zumeist nur in der Vermittlung des von Gott Empfangenen an die Mitmenschen besteht. Und dieser Aufgabe kommt der Mensch mit großem Eifer nach, und er führt gewissenhaft aus, was ihm aufgetragen wurde.... Und darum ist das Empfangen des tönenden Wortes von unerhörtem Segen für die Menschen, denn die Liebe, die Gott Seinem Kind auf Erden zuwendet, teilt sich auch jenen Menschen mit, die gleichsam Mitempfänger des göttlichen Wortes werden durch die eifrige Tätigkeit des ersteren. Gottes Wort hörbar zu vernehmen ist nur möglich, wenn sich das Erdenkind Gott völlig hingibt, wenn es sich bedingungslos Ihm überläßt, sich gänzlich Seinem Willen unterstellt und Gott stets und ständig bittet um Seine Gnade.... wenn es zur Liebe sich gestaltet, d.h. in Werken uneigennütziger Nächstenliebe Gott die Liebe zu Ihm bezeugt, wenn es also durch das Wirken in Liebe sein Herz empfangsbereit macht, auf daß Gott in ein so gestaltetes Herz einziehen kann.... Und die Gegenwart Gottes wird der Mensch spüren, und also muß er auch Sein Wort vernehmen, denn Gott ist das Wort, und wo Gott ist, wird auch Sein Wort zu vernehmen sein, das Zeichen Seiner unendlichen Liebe zu den Menschen, die Er durch Sein Wort beglücken will....
