Switch off earthly experience....

The giving powers require undivided attention in order to be able to impart spiritual gifts to you, and therefore every earthly experience must be eliminated. The soul must detach itself from it and only turn its thoughts to the spiritual realm. All earthly events are to a certain extent also connected with the spiritual experience as far as they influence the human being to act and think and this again determines the work on the soul. Then every earthly experience is also a blessing for the soul. In most cases, however, people are only impressed by them in a purely earthly way and do not derive any spiritual benefit from them. The further a person has progressed, the less he is affected by external impressions and thus they are no longer decisive for his spiritual development. And this is what we should strive for.... A spiritually striving person should accept everything as a providence from above, which only serves his benefit, even if it appears different from an earthly perspective. The chaos of the present time can only be effectively intervened in by showing people the powerlessness of their will so that they realize how little influence they have on the shaping of their earthly life. They should recognize another will to which they must submit themselves at all times; they should sense this will as a force which is powerful.... (interruption)

이 땅의 경험을 무시하는 일.

주는 세력들이 너에게 영적인 선물을 전할 수 있기 위해 전적인 주의를 요구한다. 그러므로 이 땅의 모든 경험을 무시해야만 한다. 혼은 이 땅의 경험으로부터 자신을 자유롭게 해야만 하고, 생각이 단지 영의 나라로 향해야만 한다. 모든 이 땅의 사건이 사람들이 행하고, 생각하도록 영향을 미치고, 이런 영향이 다시 혼에 대한 작업을 정하는 한, 영적인 체험과 또한 어떤 연관관계를 가지고 있다.

그러면 이 땅의 모든 경험은 또한 혼을 위해 축복이 된다. 그러나 대부분의 경우 사람들은 순전히 세상적으로만 감명을 받고, 그들은 그로부터 영적인 혜택을 얻지 못한다. 사람이 더 많이 성장할수록, 외적인 인상이 그에게 더 적게 영향을 미친다. 그러므로 외적인 인상이 더 이상 그의 영의 성장에 결정적인 역활을 하지 않게 된다.

영의 성장을 추구해야 한다. 영적인 추구를 하는 사람은 모든 것을, 비로 그것이 세상적으로 다르게 보일지라도, 그에게 유익을 주는, 위로부터 오는 섭리로 받아드려야 한다. 현 시대의 혼란 속에서 사람들에게 그들의 의지의 무기력함을 눈 앞에 보여주면서 효과 있게 역사할 수 있다. 이로써 그들이 자신들의 이 땅의 삶의 형성을 위해 얼마나 작은 영향을 행사할 수 있는 지를 깨달아야 한다. 그들은 그들 자신이 언제든지 순복해야만 하는 다른 의지를 깨달아야 한다. 그들은 이런 의지를 강력한 권세로 느껴야 한다.
