Redemption through serving in love.... mandatory state and free will....

Without serving activity, no being can redeem itself. This applies to beings in bound as well as in free will. Serving activity is always the prerequisite for reaching the state which lets it become free of its outer form. And the more willingly the being subjects itself to serving activity the faster it can change the outer form until the last outer form, the flesh body of man, surrounds the soul, and now again serving in love is the task, which the soul must fulfil to also flee from the last outer form and to be able to enter the spiritual kingdom unencumbered. Serving in love is the only thing that frees the soul from its unfree state, and it is precisely this that people pay so little attention to. In their hustle and bustle they no longer find time for other people, they forget the actual task because they consider themselves to be too much the centre of attention. And therefore they remain bound, for only service in love redeems. In the preliminary stages the beings are determined by divine will to be of service, they are in a certain state of compulsion so that they have to carry out the activity God has assigned to them. As a human being, however, divine will is excluded insofar as He allows the human being to think and act according to His will. And therefore he is not forced into a serving activity but he has to be active in a serving way of his own free will. The drive to do so must be present in his heart, love must therefore be kindled in him, for only this drives him to be of service to his neighbour. Without love, however, he lacks the drive and the human being will then not fulfil his earthly task. And the whole of humanity suffers from this....

To be active in love requires the greatest overcoming of oneself as long as the human being is not yet in love. But once the flame of love has been kindled in his heart he cannot help but be active in love, for love is strength, but strength can never remain inactive, it will always stimulate activity, thus it will always want to express itself in a way that makes his fellow human being happy. And so the human being serves the one he wants to make happy and thereby frees himself from his former guilt.... because he wanted to rule in arrogance.... Serving therefore means for him a liberation from an endless time endured bondage and at the same time makes the outer form unnecessary, so that therefore the soul can discard its last outer form, because it has thereby proven that it has given up its former attitude against God, that it is no longer against God, but has become love, therefore stands in God-like will, consequently has completely overcome the separation from God, therefore has become one with Him. Union with God means spiritualization, thus earthly deformation has now become unnecessary and every burden has been removed from the soul. But the union with God can only take place in love. The works of love bring about a rapprochement with God, since God is present in every work of love. But anyone who has set himself the goal of drawing closer to God is already in love, for he desires to be united with Him because he loves God. And thus, through this desire, he is also free from opposing violence.... He has redeemed himself through love....

Mântuirea prin slujirea în dragoste.... Trebuie să declare și voința liberă....

Fără o activitate de slujire, nicio ființă nu se poate răscumpăra. Acest lucru este valabil atât pentru ființele legate, cât și pentru cele cu voință liberă. Activitatea de slujire este întotdeauna o condiție prealabilă pentru atingerea stării care îi permite să se elibereze de forma sa exterioară. Și cu cât ființa se supune cu mai multă bunăvoință activității de slujire, cu atât mai repede își poate schimba forma exterioară până la ultima formă exterioară, trupul trupesc al ființei umane, care înconjoară sufletul, iar acum slujirea cu iubire este din nou sarcina pe care sufletul trebuie să o îndeplinească pentru a scăpa și de ultima formă exterioară și pentru a putea intra nestingherit în împărăția spirituală. Slujirea în iubire este singurul lucru care eliberează sufletul din starea de lipsă de libertate și tocmai acestui lucru oamenii îi acordă atât de puțină atenție. În agitația lor, ei nu mai găsesc timp pentru ceilalți, uită de adevărata sarcină, pentru că se consideră prea mult în centrul atenției. Și de aceea ei rămân legați, căci numai slujirea în iubire răscumpără. În stadiile preliminare, ființele sunt determinate de voința divină să fie în activitate de slujire, ele sunt într-o anumită stare de constrângere, astfel încât trebuie să desfășoare activitatea pe care Dumnezeu le-a încredințat-o. Dar, în calitate de om, voința divină este exclusă în măsura în care El lasă ființa umană să gândească și să acționeze în conformitate cu voința Sa. Prin urmare, el nu este forțat să servească, ci trebuie să fie activ într-un mod de servire de bunăvoie. Impulsul de a face acest lucru trebuie să fie prezent în inima sa, astfel încât dragostea trebuie să fie aprinsă în el, căci numai aceasta îl îndeamnă să fie în slujba aproapelui său. Fără iubire, însă, îi lipsește impulsul și atunci ființa umană nu-și îndeplinește sarcina pământească. Și asta este ceea ce afectează întreaga umanitate....

Pentru a fi activ în iubire este nevoie de cea mai mare depășire de sine, atâta timp cât ființa umană nu se află încă încă în iubire. Dar odată ce flacăra iubirii a fost aprinsă în inima sa, el nu poate să nu fie activ în iubire, pentru că iubirea este forță, dar forța nu poate rămâne niciodată inactivă, ea va stimula întotdeauna activitatea, deci va dori să se exprime și, într-adevăr, într-un mod care îi face fericiți pe semeni. Și astfel, ființa umană îl servește pe cel pe care vrea să-l mulțumească și astfel se eliberează de fosta sa vină.... pentru că a vrut să domnească în aroganță..... Prin urmare, slujirea înseamnă pentru el o eliberare dintr-o robie îndurată timp nesfârșit și, în același timp, face ca forma exterioară să devină inutilă, astfel încât sufletul poate renunța la ultima sa formă exterioară, pentru că astfel a dovedit că a renunțat la vechea sa atitudine împotriva lui Dumnezeu, că nu mai este împotriva lui Dumnezeu, ci a devenit iubire, astfel că se află în voința asemănătoare lui Dumnezeu, în consecință, a depășit complet separarea de Dumnezeu, astfel că a devenit una cu El. Unirea cu Dumnezeu înseamnă spiritualizare, astfel încât schimbarea formei pământești a devenit acum inutilă și toată povara a fost luată de pe suflet. Cu toate acestea, unirea cu Dumnezeu nu poate avea loc decât în iubire. Lucrările iubirii duc la apropierea de Dumnezeu, deoarece Dumnezeu este prezent în fiecare lucrare a iubirii. Dar oricine a făcut din apropierea de Dumnezeu scopul său, se află deja în iubire, pentru că dorește să se unească cu El pentru că Îl iubește pe Dumnezeu. Și astfel, prin dorință, el se eliberează și de violența adversă.... El s-a răscumpărat prin iubire....
