Protection of the pure word of God against earthly measures....

The desire for spiritual food is a condition for receiving it, and if you offer yourselves, you will hunger and thirst for it. Consider this when worldly measures are directed against you and you seem to lose everything that has so far offered you spiritual nourishment. Consider that the word of God is offered to you more precious than you have ever possessed.... consider that they want to take human work from you and that the pure divine word from above is offered to you in return; that you therefore lose nothing but receive far more precious things, but that you first have to feel a deep longing for it before God Himself feeds you. You will still be put to great tests so that you will have to decide which spiritual direction you want to follow. And then it will not be easy to profess Christ and His word.... in view of the fact that His word will be made inaccessible to people, and even the believers will start to doubt because God allows His word to be denigrated. But He knows why He allows it.... for you lose nothing but gain infinitely more, He gives you the unadulterated word in all purity and with the word also His blessing. And anyone who longs for the food of heaven will be allowed to savour it, for God Himself is in the word with those who long for Him. And He will protect this word and not abandon it to the evil will of those who want to destroy everything that betrays christian thinking. The word that comes from above gives knowledge of His will again; it will be comfort and strength for people in the most difficult times, it will spread from mouth to mouth and it will be greedily received by those who have had to give up everything that was previously precious to them. God knows about this time of need and takes precautions by quietly allowing what the world is planning to destroy to come into being.... What comes down to earth is of divine origin, it is spiritual good that the world and its followers can never destroy.... But what they destroy can no longer claim to be unadulterated and pure truth. That is why God does not hinder their plan, for before this plan was conceived, God foresaw the will of mankind. And He provides people with His word anew so that they need not live in want if earthly power deprives them of it in the time to come....

Schutz des reinen Gotteswortes gegen irdische Maßnahmen....

Das Verlangen nach geistiger Speise ist Bedingung zum Empfangen derselben, und so ihr darbet, werdet ihr hungern und dürsten danach. Dies bedenket, wenn weltliche Maßnahmen gegen euch gerichtet sind und ihr alles zu verlieren scheint, was euch bisher geistige Nahrung bot. Bedenket, daß das Wort Gottes kostbarer euch geboten wird, als ihr es je besessen habt.... bedenket, daß man euch Menschenwerk nehmen will und daß euch dafür das reine göttliche Wort von oben dargeboten wird; daß ihr also nichts verlieret, sondern weit Kostbareres empfanget, daß ihr zuvor aber tiefes Verlangen danach empfinden müsset, ehe Gott Selbst euch speiset. Es werden noch große Proben euch gestellt werden, so daß ihr euch entscheiden müsset, welcher geistigen Richtung ihr euch anschließen wollt. Und es wird nicht leicht sein, euch dann zu Christus und Seinem Wort zu bekennen.... angesichts dessen, daß dieses Sein Wort den Menschen unzugänglich gemacht wird, und selbst die Gläubigen werden zu zweifeln beginnen, weil Gott es geschehen läßt, daß Sein Wort verunglimpft wird. Er aber weiß es, warum Er es zuläßt.... denn ihr verlieret nichts, sondern gewinnt unendlich mehr, Er gibt euch das unverbildete Wort in aller Reinheit und mit dem Wort auch Seinen Segen. Und wer sich sehnet nach der Speise des Himmels, der wird sich daran laben dürfen, denn Gott ist Selbst im Wort bei denen, die nach Ihm Verlangen tragen. Und dieses Wort wird Er schützen und es nicht dem bösen Willen derer preisgeben, die alles vernichten wollen, was christliches Denken verrät. Das Wort, das von oben kommt, gibt wieder Kenntnis von Seinem Willen; es wird den Menschen Trost und Kraft sein in schwerster Zeit, es wird sich von Mund zu Mund weiterpflanzen, und es wird gierig aufgenommen werden von jenen, die alles hingeben mußten, was ihnen bisher kostbares Gut war. Gott weiß um diese Zeit der Not und sorget vor, indem Er in aller Stille entstehen läßt, was die Welt zu vernichten plant.... Was zur Erde herniederkommt, ist göttlichen Ursprungs, es ist geistiges Gut, das die Welt und ihre Anhänger nimmermehr zerstören können.... Was sie aber zerstören, das hat nicht mehr den Anspruch darauf, unverfälschte und reine Wahrheit zu sein. Darum hindert Gott nicht das Vorhaben jener, denn ehe dieser Plan gefaßt war, ersah Gott den Willen der Menschen. Und Er bedenkt aufs neue die Menschen mit Seinem Wort, auf daß sie nicht zu darben brauchen, wenn irdische Macht sie dessen beraubt in der kommenden Zeit....
