State of death on earth and in the afterlife.... inactivity....

Everything changes and nothing remains as it is.... Consequently, everything that creation harbours is also alive. On the other hand, there is a state that can rightly be called lifeless.... This is the spiritual stagnation that can be found where materialism prevails. Although lively earthly activity can be recognized there, spiritual activity is switched off. And the consequence of this is that all spiritual development is impossible, thus the soul remains in the same state it was in before. But inactivity is a sign of death.... What is dead is motionless, it is as it were without any life, it is something worthless that has no purpose or goal and therefore remains unnoticed. However, we cannot speak of a dead being as such, because as long as the power from God flows into a work of creation, the ability to live is also in it. But God does not withdraw this power from any being, even if it does not use it according to divine will. But God withdraws His love from a spiritually inactive being and this results in a standstill, and a cooling of divine love results in the hardening of the spiritual (the spiritual substance?). This fate is unspeakably sad, for only the state of uninterrupted activity is blissful, whereas remaining in the same external form is depressing and even more depressing when the being discards its external form and enters the spiritual kingdom and no longer has the opportunity to be active.... when it is forcibly pushed into a lifeless state through its own fault. The being can remain in this state for eternities without being able to receive help because it is stubborn and rejects all help, thus if it does nothing to end its state of inactivity. In earthly life the being will not feel this dead state because earthly activity does not let it recognize the spiritually dead state. Consequently, it will not be remedied either since the being lacks the will. And if the being's will is already bound on earth, this is even more so in the beyond. There it can be given advice from all sides, the being also lacks the strength to will.... it is apathetic or completely obdurate.... But both characterize the distance from God and therefore the bound, unfree state, which expresses itself in inactivity and lack of will. This is the state of death, of darkness, in contrast to the state of life, which is eternity's brightest light and signifies constant activity....

Lo stato di morte sulla Terra e nell’aldilà - L’inattività

Tutto cambia, e nulla rimane così com’è. Di conseguenza vive anche tutto ciò che la Creazione cela. Invece esiste uno stato che può essere chiamato con ragione ‘senza vita’. Questo è lo stato dell’arresto spirituale, che si trova là, dove predomina il materialismo. Là è riconoscibile bensì una vivace attività terrena, ma è esclusa l’attività spirituale. E questo ha per conseguenza, che è impossibile ogni sviluppo ulteriore dell’anima, quindi rimane nello stesso stato nel quale stava prima. Ma l’inattività è un segno di morte. Ciò che è morto è immobile, è per così dire senza qualsiasi vita, è qualcosa di inutile, che è senza scopo e meta e perciò rimane inosservato. Ma non si può parlare di un essere morto in sé, perché finché la Forza da Dio affluisce ad un’Opera di Creazione, in questa c’è anche la capacità di vivere. Ma Dio non sottrae questa Forza a nessun essere, benché non la utilizzi secondo la Volontà divina. Ma Dio sottrae il Suo Amore ad un essere spiritualmente inattivo, e questo ha per conseguenza l’arresto ed un raffreddarsi del divino Amore ha l’effetto nell’indurimento dello spirituale (della sostanza spirituale?). Questa sorte è estremamente triste, perché solo lo stato di ininterrotta attività rende felice, è invece opprimente nel sostare nella forma esterna sempre uguale ed ancora più opprimente, quando l’essere depone la sua forma esteriore ed entra nel Regno spirituale e non ha più nessuna possibilità di essere attivo, quando viene costretto ad entrare in uno stato senza vita attraverso la propria colpa. L’essere può rimanere in questo stato per delle Eternità, senza che gli possa essere portato l’aiuto, perché è ostinato e rifiuta ogni aiuto, quando non contribuisce a terminare il suo stato di inattività. Nella vita terrena l’essere non viene a sentire questo stato morto, perché l’attività terrena non gli fa riconoscere lo stato morto spirituale. Quindi non viene nemmeno sospeso, dato che all’essere manca la volontà. E se già sulla Terra la volontà dell’essere è legata, allora lo è ancora di più nell’aldilà. Là gli possono essere dati consigli da tutte le parti, all’essere manca anche la Forza di volere, è apatico oppure totalmente incaparbito. Ambedue le cose però contrassegnano la lontananza da Dio e quindi lo stato legato, non-libero, che si manifesta nell’inattività e mancanza di volontà. Questo è lo stato di morte, dell’oscurità, in contrasto allo stato di Vita, che è la più chiara Luce dell’Eternità e significa ininterrotta attività.
