Violation of divine commandments.... sin.... bondage....
To violate the divine commandments is sin, for it increases the distance from God insofar as that He cannot be where there is unkindness. Everything that goes against the commandment of love will also result in a cooling of divine love and thus be detrimental to the spiritual being itself because it will thereby fall into an increasingly unfriendly state. As a human being this state now has the effect that the power of God's adversary over him becomes ever greater, that he is forced by him under his will, that his thoughts and actions will always be as he wants them to be, thus always opposed to God. And this is unimaginably agonizing for the soul, for it is still so far away from its final liberation that it takes the bound state with it into the spiritual kingdom. For only love can redeem the being, consequently unkindness has to bind. And whoever is therefore unloving towards his neighbour violates the commandment of love and will therefore never be free from the bondage which the former rebellion against God has brought him. That is why God has given people the commandment of love, which they only need to obey in order to thereby come closer to God and be able to enter the spiritual kingdom as a blessed being. Man can sin against the commandment of love by acting contrary to the divine doctrine of love or by omitting actions that are supposed to demonstrate love for his neighbour. Man should not only protect his neighbour from harm, he should benefit him, i.e. do everything to him that seems desirable to him, only then is the connection with God established, because God Himself descends to a loving person and honours him with His closeness.... And this means spiritual freedom for him. The human being frees himself from the power of the adversary, for the power of God, which passes into the human being through His closeness, is stronger than the power of God's adversary.... And the victor will therefore always be the person who connects with eternal love itself through works of love. He will break the shackles and become free from every compulsion that God's adversary wants to exert on him. The commandments of love must not be ignored, for they are the means of release from the endless time of bondage. And at the same time they are the bridge to the connection with God.... For he who is active in selfless love thereby comes ever closer to God and overcomes every distance from Him.... He fulfils God's demand and will also be allowed to receive the reward from God, which consists of God uniting Himself with the one who serves Him in love, i.e. who likewise sees God's creatures in his fellow human beings to whom he wants to do good. Eternal bliss is only the result of unselfish loving activity, just as, conversely, damnation is also the result of unkindness, and everything that is directed against God or His commandments is unjust before God, i.e. sin....

L’infrazione dei Comandamenti divini - Il peccato – Essere legato
Infrangere i Comandamenti divini è peccato, perché aumenta la distanza da Dio in quanto che Egli non può Essere là dov’è il disamore. Tutto ciò che è contrario al Comandamento dell’amore, avrà anche per conseguenza il raffreddamento dell’Amore divino e sarà dunque a danno dell’essere spirituale stesso, perché da ciò giunge in uno stato sempre meno libero. Come uomo questo stato ora si manifesta in modo che aumenta sempre di più il potere dell’avversario di Dio su di lui, che viene costretto da lui di stare sotto la sua volontà, che il suo pensare ed agire sarà sempre così come lo vuole costui, quindi sempre opposto a Dio. E questo è inimmaginabilmente tormentoso per l’anima, perché è ancora così distante dalla sua definitiva liberazione in quanto porta con sé questo suo stato legato nel Regno spirituale, perché soltanto l’amore può liberare l’essere, di conseguenza il disamore deve legare. E chi è dunque disamorevole verso il suo prossimo, infrange il Comandamento dell’amore e perciò non sarà mai libero dallo stato legato, che gli ha procurato la ribellione di una volta contro Dio. Per questo Dio ha dato agli uomini il Comandamento dell’amore che loro devono soltanto adempiere, per venire così più vicini a Dio e poter entrare nel Regno spirituale da esseri beati. L’uomo può peccare contro il Comandamento dell’amore agendo contro la divina Dottrina dell’Amore, oppure omette delle azioni che devono dimostrare l’amore per il prossimo. L’uomo non deve soltanto custodire il prossimo dal danno, gli deve essere utile, cioè deve fare per lui tutto ciò che pare desiderabile per sé stesso, soltanto allora viene stabilito il contatto con Dio, perché Dio Stesso discende da un uomo amorevole e lo degna della Sua Vicinanza. E questo significa per lui libertà spirituale. L’uomo si libera dal potere dell’avversario, perché la Forza di Dio, che passa all’uomo tramite la Sua Vicinanza, è più forte che la forza dell’avversario di Dio. E l’uomo che si unisce con l’eterno Amore Stesso tramite delle opere d’amore, rimarrà sempre vincitore. Costui spezzerà le catene e sarà libero da ogni costrizione, che l’avversario di Dio vuole esercitare su di lui. I Comandamenti dell’amore non devono essere lasciati inosservati, perché sono i mezzi di dissolvimento dallo stato legato da un tempo infinitamente lungo. E significano contemporaneamente il Ponte di collegamento con Dio, perché chi è attivo nell’amore disinteressato, viene da ciò sempre più vicino a Dio e supera ogni distanza da Lui. Egli adempie la richiesta di Dio e potrà anche ricevere la ricompensa da Dio, che consiste nel fatto che Dio Si unisce con colui che Gli serve nell’amore, cioè che vede nei suoi prossimi le creature di Dio a cui vuole fare del bene. L’eterna beatitudine è solamente la conseguenza dell’attività d’amore disinteressato, come al contrario la dannazione è appunto la conseguenza del disamore, e tutto ciò che si rivolge contro Dio o i Suoi Comandamenti, è ingiusti sia dinanzi a Dio, quindi è peccato.
