Protection for his own....

Whoever makes it his task to spread the gospel among people will never need to fear earthly power, for he is an instrument of God who, through his willingness to serve, has also acquired the right to His protection in earthly needs. God's love accompanies him on all his ways and His spirit guides him correctly. For God needs people who stand up for Him before the whole world, who proclaim His word to those who believe and are to persuade those who have no faith to repent, and thus He will also protect them so that they can fulfil their task. And they should courageously and undauntedly carry out what their inner voice commands them to do. They should not become faint-hearted when dangers approach them from outside, for nothing is so great that God cannot control it; every power finds its master in God, and the person who trusts God gives himself to the strongest power and no longer needs to fear any other power. The demon certainly tries to gain the upper hand and he oppresses people immensely, but the power from God, which flows to those who carry Him in their hearts, is also extraordinarily effective. For He loves His children beyond all measure, and those who are willing to serve Him He embraces with the omnipotence of His love so that they are willing to sacrifice everything and even lay down their lives for Him. And so confidently place your life in God's hand.... He will protect you if your hour has not yet come, or He will fetch you to Himself into His kingdom when you have fulfilled your task and no longer need the earthly change. Giving up your earthly life for His fellow human beings is truly the greatest sacrifice of love you can offer to the lord of heaven and earth, yet He does not demand this of everyone who fights for Him. He protects you as long as you serve Him in faithful love and proclaim the gospel to your fellow human beings. For this is unspeakably important in the adversity of the time, that people recognize God and unite with Him in prayer.... If you speak to them of His love and mercy, if you try to persuade them to believe through your faith, you will win souls for God and wrest them from the adversary. And then you will be redemptively active in this world and fulfil the most beautiful earthly task, for you do not live in the earthly world but in the spiritual kingdom.... You do not think of the present but of the future, which is eternal.... Then you will have passed the probationary period on earth, and if you now lose your life in service to the lord, He will give it back to you a thousand times more beautifully....

자신에게 속한 사람을 위한 보호.

사람에게 복음을 전파하는 일을 자신의 과제로 삼은 사람은 절대로 이 땅의 권세를 두려워할 필요가 없게 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 그는 자신의 자원하여 섬기려는 의지로 이 땅의 위험 가운데 보호를 받을 권리를 얻은 하나님의 도구이기 때문이다.

하나님의 사랑은 그의 모든 길에서 그를 동반하고, 하나님의 영이 그를 올바르게 인도한다. 왜냐면 하나님은 온 세상 앞에서 자신을 대변하는 믿는 사람이 필요하기 때문이다. 그들은 믿지 않는 사람들을 돌이키게 하는 일을 해야 한다. 그러므로 하나님은 그들이 과제를 완수할 수 있도록 보호할 것이다.

그들은 내면의 음성이 그들에게 명하는 일을 용감하게 절망하지 않고 수행해야 한다. 그들은 외부에서 위험이 그들에게 닥칠 때, 믿음이 적게 되어서는 안 된다. 왜냐하면 어떤 일도 하나님이 그 일을 통제할 수 없을 만큼 큰 일이 없기 때문이다. 모든 권세는 하나님 안에 그의 주인이 있다. 하나님을 신뢰하는 사람은 가장 강한 권세를 얻고, 더 이상 다른 권세를 두려워할 필요가 없다.

마귀가 우위를 차지하려고 애를 쓰고, 사람들을 엄청나게 압박하지만, 하나님을 심장에 품고 있는 사람들에게 흐르는 하나님의 능력도 특별한 효과가 있다. 하나님은 하나님의 자녀들을 무엇보다 사랑하고, 하나님을 섬길 준비가 된 자신의 자녀들을 자신의 모든 사랑의 권세로 감싸, 자녀들이 모든 것을 희생하고, 심지어 하나님을 위해 목숨을 바칠 준비가 된다. 그러므로 안심하고 너희의 생명을 주님의 손안에 드리라. 하나님은 너희의 때가 아직 오지 않았을 때, 너희를 보호하거나, 너희가 너희의 과제를 완수하고, 더 이상 이 땅의 삶이 필요가 없게 될 때, 너희를 자신의 나라로 데려간다.

사람이 자신의 이웃 사람을 위해 이 땅의 생명을 희생하는 일은 진정으로 하늘과 이 땅의 주님께 바칠 수 있는 가장 큰 사랑의 희생이다. 그러나 주님은 그를 위해 싸우는 모든 사람에게 이런 희생을 요구하지 않는다. 너희가 믿음으로 사랑으로 주님을 섬기고, 이웃 사람에게 복음을 전하는 한, 주님은 너희를 보호한다. 사람들이 하나님을 깨닫고, 기도로 하나님과 연합하는 일이 환란의 때에 말할 수 없게 중요하다.

너희가 주님의 사랑과 긍휼에 대해 말하고, 너희의 믿음을 통해 그들이 믿도록 유도하려고 하면, 너희는 하나님을 위해 혼을 얻는 것이고, 대적자로부터 쟁취하는 것이다. 그러면 너희는 이 땅에서 구원하는 일을 하고, 가장 아름다운 이 땅의 과제를 완수한다. 왜냐면 너희가 이 땅의 세상에서 살지 않고, 영의 나라에서 살기 때문이다. 너희는 현재를 생각하지 않고 영원한 미래를 생각한다. 그러면 이 땅의 시험 기간에 합격한다. 너희가 이제 주님을 섬기면서 목숨을 잃으면, 주님은 너희에게 천 배로 더 아름답게 돌려줄 것이다.
