Preparation to receive.... intimate contact with God....

The conscious union with God through prayer results in a separation of the spirit from the earth. The thought activity now turns with full will towards the spiritual kingdom, and only now divine wisdom can be offered to the earth child from above. The separation from earth must first have taken place because the receiving of spiritual messages requires the will of man and prayer testifies to his will. The more intimately a person prays, the more clearly he realizes the divine gifts, which now come to him in the form of thoughts. The intimate connection with God through prayer is absolutely necessary because this makes the working of evil forces impossible, for a being which consciously makes contact with God is no longer harassed by those forces. They only seek to gain influence when the human being's thoughts turn to earthly things again, i.e. when contact with God has been severed. In the spiritual world there are likewise laws which exclude an arbitrary giving of spiritual good, and therefore man himself must first become active before spiritual good can be distributed to him. Man's activity only consists of preparing to receive. This work cannot be bypassed, it must be carried out by the one who wants to receive and consists in the fact that the human being in deepest humility gives himself to God and asks for His gift of grace and then sinks into his inner being in order to await this gift. As soon as this is disregarded, the giving beings cannot distribute, and thus a stagnation occurs which can be remedied again through heartfelt prayer. The ability to receive therefore mostly depends on establishing heartfelt contact with God, but the human being does not always succeed in doing so if his thoughts are focussed on earthly things. The earthly kingdom belongs to that power which wants to prevent the union with God. It will therefore try everything to prevent or disturb this union. The human being's will, however, can thwart such attempts and will also then reap its reward accordingly, which consists of imparting spiritual gifts, for these make the human being happy if he is serious about spiritual higher development....

Preparação para Receber.... Contato interno com God....

A união consciente com Deus através da oração resulta em uma separação do espírito da Terra. A atividade do pensamento agora gira com plena vontade em direção ao reino espiritual, e somente agora a sabedoria divina pode ser oferecida à criança terrestre vinda do alto. A separação da Terra deve ter acontecido primeiro porque a recepção de mensagens espirituais requer a vontade do ser humano e a oração testemunha a sua vontade. Quanto mais intimamente o ser humano reza, tanto mais claramente os dons divinos se tornam conscientes para ele, que agora o alcançam na forma de pensamentos. A conexão íntima com Deus através da oração é absolutamente necessária, porque isso torna impossível o funcionamento das forças do mal, pois um ser que conscientemente faz contato com Deus não será mais molestado por essas forças. Eles só tentam ganhar influência quando o ser humano volta a pensar em coisas terrenas, assim quando o contato com Deus é cortado. No mundo espiritual existem também leis que excluem a doação arbitrária do bem espiritual e, portanto, o próprio ser humano deve primeiro tornar-se ativo antes que o bem espiritual lhe possa ser entregue. A atividade do ser humano consiste apenas em se preparar para receber. Este trabalho não pode ser evitado, tem de ser realizado pela pessoa que quer receber e consiste em o ser humano entregar-se a Deus com a mais profunda humildade e pedir o seu dom de graça e depois afundar-se no seu ser interior para esperar este dom. Assim que isso é desconsiderado, os seres doadores não podem distribuir, e assim ocorre uma estagnação que pode ser remediada novamente através de uma oração sincera. A capacidade de receber, portanto, depende principalmente de estabelecer contato íntimo com Deus, mas o ser humano nem sempre consegue isso se seus pensamentos estão voltados para as coisas terrenas. O reino terreno pertence àquele poder que quer impedir a união com Deus. Tentará, portanto, tudo para dificultar ou perturbar esta união. No entanto, a vontade do ser humano pode frustrar tais tentativas e depois também colherá a sua recompensa em conformidade, que consiste na transmissão de dons espirituais, pois estes fazem o ser humano feliz se ele estiver seriamente empenhado no desenvolvimento espiritual superior...._>Amém
