Deepening in heartfelt prayer.... primal relationship.... father....

People cannot really imagine how necessary it is to immerse themselves in heartfelt prayer. Thoughts should be directed towards God, man should utilize every opportunity to establish a connection with God. He should see in God the holiest and most perfect being and, although not worthy, turn to this being full of confidence and faith and present all his needs and sufferings to Him.... in the simplest and most natural way, for this pleases Him. He should create a state between himself and the father in heaven that can be called familiar and childlike. No request should seem too small for him to present to the heavenly father; he should call upon Him in all his needs, and he should know that God's love will not let the child ask in vain, that only the intimate relationship should be established which gives the father the right to regulate the life of the earthly child. God wants to be recognized by people, He does not want to be regarded as a distant, unapproachable being, He wants to possess the earthly child's love in order to be able to consider it with His infinite love.... He wants His living creations to confess Him so that they thereby become free from the opposing power; He wants them to no longer feel separated from God but to unite ever more intimately with Him so that the state of being distant from God is removed.... And in order to achieve this, the human being often has to go within himself, he has to seek and find God in his heart, he has to mould his thoughts in such a way that they have God as their goal. He must desire the divine word, i.e., he must want God to speak to him and that He instructs him and makes His will known to him. And the divine will must be his guide in earthly life.... he must always strive to fulfil this will. God's word is the emanation of His fatherly love, and those who hear and obey it are in truth His children who will feel His love the more intimately they unite with Him. For man is on earth in order to enter into this union with the father in heaven, in order to re-establish the original relationship, which was the most intimate communion....

Vertiefen in innigem Gebet.... Urverhältnis.... Vater....

Es können sich die Menschen nicht die rechte Vorstellung machen, wie nötig das Vertiefen ist in innigem Gebet. Die Gedanken sollen zu Gott gerichtet sein, es soll der Mensch jede Gelegenheit nützen, die Verbindung mit Gott herzustellen. Er soll in Gott das heiligste und vollkommenste Wesen sehen und, obwohl nicht würdig, voll Zuversicht und Glauben sich diesem Wesen zuwenden und Ihm alle seine Nöte und Leiden vortragen.... in der schlichtesten und natürlichsten Weise, denn dies findet Sein Wohlgefallen. Er soll einen Zustand schaffen zwischen sich und dem Vater im Himmel, der vertraut und kindlich genannt werden kann. Ihm soll kein Anliegen zu gering erscheinen, als daß er es dem himmlischen Vater vortragen könnte; er soll Ihn anrufen in allen Nöten, und er soll wissen, daß Gottes Liebe das Kind nicht vergeblich bitten läßt, daß nur das traute Verhältnis hergestellt werden soll, das dem Vater das Recht gibt, das Leben des Erdenkindes zu regeln. Gott will erkannt werden von den Menschen, Er will nicht als fernes, unnahbares Wesen gelten, Er will die Liebe des Erdenkindes besitzen, um es bedenken zu können mit Seiner unendlichen Liebe.... Er will, daß Seine Geschöpfe sich zu Ihm bekennen, auf daß sie dadurch frei werden von der gegnerischen Gewalt; Er will, daß sie sich nicht mehr getrennt fühlen von Gott, sondern sich immer inniger mit Ihm verbinden, so daß der Gott-ferne Zustand behoben ist.... Und um dieses zu erreichen, muß der Mensch oft in sich gehen, er muß Gott in seinem Herzen suchen und finden, er muß seine Gedanken so formen, daß sie Gott zum Ziel haben. Er muß das göttliche Wort begehren, d.h., er muß wollen, daß Gott zu ihm spricht und daß Er ihn unterweiset und ihm Seinen Willen kundtut. Und der göttliche Wille muß ihm Leitfaden sein im Erdenleben.... immer muß er diesen Willen zu erfüllen trachten. Gottes Wort ist der Ausfluß Seiner Vaterliebe, und die es hören und befolgen, sind in Wahrheit Seine Kinder, die Seine Liebe spüren werden, je inniger sie sich Ihm verbinden. Denn es ist der Mensch auf Erden, um diese Verbindung mit dem Vater im Himmel einzugehen, um wieder das Urverhältnis herzustellen, das innigste Gemeinschaft war....
