Divine justice – Mercy....
Divine justice is very often questioned by people , because God allows things to happen on earth, what is an obvious injustice. And it still must not be waver in the belief of God’s justice, although therefore the man doesn’t find the right explanation. What God is doing or lets happen corresponds always to its purpose. What He Himself is doing, is mindful very wise, and the man can not really fathom, why everything has to come so, as it comes. However, what people do, is also allowed by God, if it is not good and noble, not to curtail the free will of man. And the latter is reason to doubt the justice of God.... The will of man is determinative for his actions, and God allows this will great freedom. Well, now the man can begin or do a lot of, what is wrong before God. But would God punish any injustice, when it will be done for the sake of divine justice, so soon only good actions would be recorded on earth, but also the man as such would not be free, that’s to say, he could and would not act according to his urges, but only the fear of punishment would decide any action. And yet God can not be denied justice, because every action finds its expiation or its reward, just mostly in a different way, than it pleases the people. Because it connects a wise purpose with any action or utterance of God. Even where God punishes, He lets be this punishment an educational aid for the misguided people. And God is infinitely merciful and patient.... He will delay again and again, to give people the possibility to redress the injustice on their own or at least to recognize it as wrong. Because if man repents his way of behaving or he himself has the will to act and to think otherwise than previously, God is ready to forgive him. But the recognition, that he has done wrong, must have become alive in the heart, so that this influences his future thinking and acting favourably, then God’s mercy will be sure to him.... So mercy of God takes the place of justice.... but this never turns off God’s justice. The man should recognize his injustice and search to ennoble himself, because this is the purpose of life on earth. But he has to answer for any action, because God is righteous, but also wise, and He will never intervene early in the course of development of man on earth for the sake of justice, which however never excludes, that man will be judged by law and justice one day....

Goddelijke rechtvaardigheid – Barmhartigheid
De goddelijke rechtvaardigheid wordt heel vaak door de mensen betwijfeld, omdat God op aarde veel laat gebeuren, wat ogenschijnlijk onrechtvaardigheid is. En toch mag het geloof in de rechtvaardigheid van God niet aan het wankelen gebracht worden, ofschoon de mens daar niet de juiste verklaring voor vindt. Wat God doet of laat gebeuren, komt altijd met Zijn doel overeen. Wat Hij Zelf doet, is buitengewoon wijs bedacht en de mens kan werkelijk niet doorgronden, waarom alles zo moet gebeuren, zoals het gebeurt. Maar wat de mensen doen, wordt ook door God toegelaten als het niet goed en edel is, om de vrije wil van de mens niet te in te perken. En dat laatste is een reden om aan de rechtvaardigheid van God te twijfelen.
De wil van de mens is bepalend voor zijn daden en God geeft deze wil grote vrijheid. Nu kan de mens wel met veel dingen beginnen of deze uitvoeren, wat onrechtvaardig is voor God. Als God echter elke onrechtvaardigheid ter wille van de goddelijke rechtvaardigheid zou willen straffen, zodra deze begaan wordt, dan zouden er op aarde spoedig alleen maar goede handelingen op te tekenen zijn. Maar de mens zou onvrij zijn. Dat wil zeggen dat hij niet overeenkomstig zijn driften zou kunnen handelen, want enkel de angst voor straf zou elke handeling bepalen.
En toch kan God niet de rechtvaardigheid ontzegd worden, want elke daad vindt haar straf of haar loon, maar meestal op een andere manier dan de mens bevalt. Want met elk werkzaam zijn of elke uiting van God is een wijs doel verbonden. Zelfs waar God straft, laat Hij deze straf tegelijkertijd een middel tot opvoeding zijn voor de misleide mensen.
En God is eindeloos barmhartig en geduldig. Hij zal steeds weer uitstellen om de mens de mogelijkheid te geven om het onrecht zelf weer goed te maken of het tenminste als onrecht te herkennen. Want zodra de mens zijn handelswijze betreurt of hij zelf de wil heeft om anders te denken en te handelen dan tot nog toe, is God bereid hem te vergeven. Maar het besef dat hij een onrecht begaan heeft, moet levend geworden zijn in zijn hart, zodat dit zijn toekomstige denken en handelen gunstig beïnvloedt, dan zal hij zeker zijn van het mededogen van God.
Zodoende komt de erbarming van God in de plaats van de rechtvaardigheid. Maar dit schakelt nooit de rechtvaardigheid van God uit. De mens moet zijn onrechtvaardigheid beseffen en proberen om zich te veredelen, want dit is het doel van het leven op aarde. Maar voor elk handelen moet hij zich verantwoorden, want God is rechtvaardig, maar ook wijs en Hij zal nooit ter wille van de rechtvaardigheid voortijdig in het ontwikkelingsproces van de mens op aarde ingrijpen, wat echter nooit uitsluit dat de mens ooit naar recht en rechtvaardigheid gericht wordt.
