Divine justice – Mercy....

Divine justice is very often questioned by people , because God allows things to happen on earth, what is an obvious injustice. And it still must not be waver in the belief of God’s justice, although therefore the man doesn’t find the right explanation. What God is doing or lets happen corresponds always to its purpose. What He Himself is doing, is mindful very wise, and the man can not really fathom, why everything has to come so, as it comes. However, what people do, is also allowed by God, if it is not good and noble, not to curtail the free will of man. And the latter is reason to doubt the justice of God.... The will of man is determinative for his actions, and God allows this will great freedom. Well, now the man can begin or do a lot of, what is wrong before God. But would God punish any injustice, when it will be done for the sake of divine justice, so soon only good actions would be recorded on earth, but also the man as such would not be free, that’s to say, he could and would not act according to his urges, but only the fear of punishment would decide any action. And yet God can not be denied justice, because every action finds its expiation or its reward, just mostly in a different way, than it pleases the people. Because it connects a wise purpose with any action or utterance of God. Even where God punishes, He lets be this punishment an educational aid for the misguided people. And God is infinitely merciful and patient.... He will delay again and again, to give people the possibility to redress the injustice on their own or at least to recognize it as wrong. Because if man repents his way of behaving or he himself has the will to act and to think otherwise than previously, God is ready to forgive him. But the recognition, that he has done wrong, must have become alive in the heart, so that this influences his future thinking and acting favourably, then God’s mercy will be sure to him.... So mercy of God takes the place of justice.... but this never turns off God’s justice. The man should recognize his injustice and search to ennoble himself, because this is the purpose of life on earth. But he has to answer for any action, because God is righteous, but also wise, and He will never intervene early in the course of development of man on earth for the sake of justice, which however never excludes, that man will be judged by law and justice one day....

Göttliche Gerechtigkeit - Barmherzigkeit....

Die göttliche Gerechtigkeit wird sehr oft von den Menschen angezweifelt, weil Gott auf Erden manches geschehen läßt, was augenscheinliche Ungerechtigkeit ist. Und es darf dennoch nicht der Glaube an die Gerechtigkeit Gottes wankend werden, wenngleich der Mensch dafür nicht die rechte Erklärung findet. Was Gott tut oder geschehen läßt, entspricht immer seinem Zweck. Was Er Selbst tut, ist überaus weise bedacht, und es kann der Mensch wahrlich nicht ergründen, warum alles so kommen muß, wie es kommt. Was jedoch die Menschen tun, wird auch von Gott zugelassen, wenn es nicht gut und edel ist, um den freien Willen des Menschen nicht zu beschneiden. Und letzteres ist Anlaß, die Gerechtigkeit Gottes anzuzweifeln.... Der Wille des Menschen ist bestimmend für seine Taten, und Gott läßt diesem Willen große Freiheit. Nun kann wohl der Mensch vieles beginnen oder ausführen, was vor Gott unrecht ist. Wollte Gott jedoch jegliche Ungerechtigkeit strafen, sobald sie ausgeführt wird, um der göttlichen Gerechtigkeit willen, so würden bald auf Erden nur gute Handlungen zu verzeichnen sein, jedoch auch der Mensch als solcher unfrei, d.h., er könnte und würde nicht seinen Trieben entsprechend handeln, sondern nur die Angst vor der Strafe bestimmte jegliche Handlung. Und dennoch kann Gott nicht die Gerechtigkeit abgesprochen werden, denn es findet eine jede Tat ihre Sühne oder ihren Lohn, nur zumeist in anderer Weise, als es den Menschen behagt. Denn es verbindet sich mit jeglichem Wirken oder jeglicher Äußerung Gottes ein weiser Zweck. Selbst wo Gott straft, läßt Er diese Strafe gleichzeitig ein Erziehungsmittel sein für die irregeleiteten Menschen. Und Gott ist unendlich barmherzig und geduldig.... Er wird immer und immer wieder verzögern, um den Menschen die Möglichkeit zu geben, das Unrecht von allein wieder gutzumachen oder es zum mindesten als Unrecht zu erkennen. Denn sofern der Mensch seine Handlungsweise bereut oder er selbst den Willen hat, anders zu handeln und zu denken als bisher, ist Gott bereit, ihm zu vergeben. Doch es muß die Erkenntnis, daß er ein Unrecht begangen hat, im Herzen lebendig geworden sein, so daß dies sein ferneres Denken und Handeln günstig beeinflußt, dann wird ihm Gottes Erbarmen sicher sein.... Es tritt also die Erbarmung Gottes an Stelle der Gerechtigkeit.... doch dies schaltet nimmermehr die Gerechtigkeit Gottes aus. Es soll der Mensch sein Unrecht erkennen und sich selbst zu veredeln suchen, denn dies ist der Zweck des Erdenlebens. Doch für jegliches Handeln muß er sich verantworten, denn Gott ist gerecht, aber auch weise, und Er wird niemals um der Gerechtigkeit willen vorzeitig in den Entwicklungsgang des Menschen auf Erden eingreifen, was jedoch niemals ausschließt, daß der Mensch dereinst gerichtet wird nach Recht und Gerechtigkeit....
